I watched "American Sniper". My brother left us 5 years ago. He was military. I just have to watch and know some of the horrible things that he went through.

It's been a while since I've seen any movies. I think the last one I saw was Emily the Criminal, but tomorrow I will go watch the new Super Mario Movie so hopefully that'll be a blast.

I recently watched an indie sci-fi film called 'Vesper', and it was really bad. The pacing was so slow that I genuinely felt pain from the amount of boredom I experienced, haha. I do not recommend watching it, and I wish I could have my £2.50 and 2 hours back!

However, I also recently watched 'The Whale', which was really good despite being slightly heartbreaking at times.

Just watched Super Mario Brothers The Movie. ALL THE REFERENCES! As a Mario-games fan, it was GREAT! (If you're not fan, then probably not the movie for you. Rotten Tomatoes didn't rank it well.)

Long time ago that we just sat down with our family, Django Unchained, was just on TV at that time. Amazing movie!

I watched it too! Made me cry in a few spots (happy and sad tears). Cute, and heartbreaking, and funny, and very slice-of-life.

Did you watch on disk? We did and the extra content included how the director team adapted and translated it from a Swedish book. I'm a proponent of "read the book before you watch the movie", but I sadly only know English. From what was presented in the disk extra, it seemed they were faithful to the spirit of the story, even if localization had to adapt for its target audience (me included!).

The title "A Man Called Otto" reminded me of another movie titled "The Man From Earth", do check it out if you haven't, it's interesting.

But yes, "A Man Called Otto" was good too, Tom Hanks is a natural.

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, I watched this several times. I just admire this one. So I rewatched it. IF you haven't seen this yet. I suggest you give this a try. You will definitely love this one.

They used to be something I'd either consume in bulk (think bing-watching horror movies for 3 days and then having nightmares for a week) OR just ignore completely, but lately, things have changed a bit.   Babysitter is such a good one.  Currently seeing Succession (its a series). The acting is so damn good. You should check it out.

ich habe in meiner Schwangerschaft mit Zwillingen nur Horrorfilme oder Thriller angeschaut ich war einfach so besessen. Was lustiges war das letzte mal old school scary movie das ich schon dutzent mal angeschaut habe aber ich habe jetzt im Sommer keine grose lust Filme anzuschauen. Netflix bittet nicht mehr sehr viel an.
