  1. Sometimes I don't think the buyers really know what they want. I have had them actually change their minds after they told me that they wanted a fast and powerful read. I think that sometimes they want you to miraculously put more into the script than they themselves were able to write.
  2. I also received a message within the Fiverr platform from a buyer that I had talked to before and I think I have recorded an audio for them. I got out of bed and read the message. Then I tried to respond and it was as though it just disappeared into thin air. I checked everywhere and could find nothing. Do you know if a buyer decides that they do not want to go through with a request, then they can delete it? Could that be happening?
  3. Is there anything in Fiverr's TOS or anywhere that they recommend not doing a sample read? I looked, but couldn't find anything. If anyone knows of any violation or suggestion not to do this, could you please let me know? Thank you.
  4. Send a message to customer service and tell them the issue. Hopefully they can help. Also check the page where you are going into the course. There might be something at the bottom of the page telling you who to contact if there are any problems. Just a thought.
  5. Oh, so that is what you think. Well, I never got a review from him, at all. After I delivered the audio to him, he simply waited 48 hours and then rejected it saying he wanted revisions. But he never gave any revisions or talked to me for days. I kept messaging him and to no avail. He never rated me because he supposedly wanted a revision. I sent another revised audio so that I would give him his one revision. I had nothing to go on. He also answered a required question about how he wanted the audio.,Mp3 or Wave file. He just answered any. So I gave him one in Mp3 and one in Wave. That still did not make him happy. So I asked customer service to cancel and they did. They also offered to talk to him, but I bet he would not answer them either. I was not dishonest in any way, shape or form. I actually tried to get a rating Sir newsmaker. Hello are you there?
  6. Well, this is the first time that I have had a problem. I work very hard on all my jobs. I don't feel like I am sanitizing anything. That is your assimilation. I wanted to move on. I am on here part time and I want to limit the bad reviews that people like this want to give to other people just because they are not good at what they have done for others and recieved bad ratings. This could have gone on indefinitely. When it smells like a skunk and sounds like a skunk, then the gut usually knows it is a skunk. I don't care about a bad review, if it is an honest review. I will take it and go on. I had a bad feeling about this buyer only after he vaguely filled out my requirements. I have had people on ACX send me very nice compliments about my deliveries. I guess you think I should have sat there waiting and waiting and waiting. Some people are never satisfied and you just can't please them. Guess you haven't had any of those. I hope you are not upset because I did not sit there and let him drag me on and on and take his bad attitude with his rating.
  7. I have gotten some good jobs on BR and some were high paying jobs. The work was very good. I don't apply to all of them, just ones that I feel fit me and my delivery style. Which is why I probably don't have as many reviews as other people here full time. I have a job and I am a caregiver. I am so busy sometimes. I just hope I can hold on till this job gets better.
  8. No, I don't. I feel that most people are honest and do want to pay for services that they get. But there is always that 1% that make like almost unbearable sometimes. Yes, he got away with free work. It happens. I have blocked him and I noticed he had quite a few bad reviews. I would rather cancel than get a bad review. Cancellation hurts for awhile, but a bad review sticks with you always. I know I may end up getting bad reviews, but if I can nip it in the bud, I am going to. I want to thank all the forum members that helped me in my decision. You guys are super!
  9. I just wanted to let everyone know that Customer Service really came through for me. I was afraid that I would have a lot of problems with the seller that refused to communicate with me about his order. There were never any harsh words between us. I just constantly asked for the revisions that he wanted to make. He would not give me any answer. So after I think the 5th day, I wrote to Customer Service and told them I wanted to cancel the order. The buyer refused to talk to me. They checked to see if I had come through with my end of the job and cancelled it for me. Thank you Customer Service! I do soooo appreciate this. If anyone else has a story to tell about their experience, I think it would help all the new sellers.

  12. The problem is that you don't know a lot of these people on BR until they have already ordered. They should have to list their name like it is on Fiverr.
  13. I feel like this is the same person. I could be wrong, but my gut tells me it is. I went ahead and asked to cancel the first order where there is no communication. He refuses to tell me anything. I did go ahead and re-record the audio and sent it. I have done everything I can to make this work, but he is just unresponsive. The second order hasn't sent a script and it is just sitting there. I really appreciate all your help. I can survive 60 days. But when I tried to cancel, it says that I am asking the other party to cancel. What if he doesn't want to?
  14. I think I am going to just cancel. I will go ahead and send another revision, but I don't know what was wrong with the first one. So I will just change spacing in between sentences. I will re-record it. This is very suspicious. I just got another job yesterday morning at about 5:00am and it has not script either. I have tried contacting him and nothing. I will end up having to cancel two orders. I was just about the get to level 2. Does this really destroy me now? Thanks
  15. I went back on my orders and I encountered this guy before. He could be the second order and just under another name. I will have to cancel two orders which will really affect my account, but probably better than getting a bad review. I do know that you are an independent here. I just wanted to get some insight into what my options were. You have been around for awhile and probably know more about what happens. Thank you and I appreciate it.
  16. I am part time on here. I only have 60 jobs completed and 40 reviews with a 5 star rating. Can you tell me what will happen with this? I am close to becoming a level 2 seller. Will this totally stop that?
  17. When he placed the order, there was no script. I had to send a reminder and then a text. He finally sent the script but was very vague about how he wanted the audio delivered. I have questions that are required to be answered. He would only say that it was for a fundraiser. Would not specify if he wanted it delivered with urgency, powerful, friendly, etc. I repeatedly asked for more information as to how he wanted the audio to sound and other important audio questions. He never would answer. I delivered in less than 12 hours. and did not hear from him until 48 hours later. He rejected the job and when I asked what the revisions were, he told me he would let me know in a couple of hours. I have texted him several times and no answer from him. The order started on the 17th and I delivered in less than 12 hours. He waited until the 20th to reject it. But has never given me any revisions. Will not talk to me. This morning I got an offer from someone in Nigeria, and again no script. I have sent a reminder and still no response. I am just wondering if this is a bad joke or is someone grinding an axe? Then again maybe I am being paranoid. At 3:49 am this morning I told the first problem child that I was going to hand this over to Customer Service. He quickly answered and said that he still had to talk to his customer and had to pay $3 to get more information. Which doesn't make sense. What to do? The job now says 4 days late, which doesn't mean anything, but I would love to get this off my back and just move on. Thanking you in advance for any advice.
  18. This morning about 3:49am someone from ***** sent me a request to do a voice over. I asked what he wanted and he said, "I want to pay now". It was an old custom offer that I made in July. He never accepted it until now. I have sent him a reminder to please fill out the requirements and to send the script. As of 11:38am, he has not sent anything. I got suspicious and named the other person I have had a problem with in a text to him from ***** and asked if he was there? I then went and texted the other problem that I have had for 3 or 4 days now and I told him I was going to Customer Service with this. He answered right away and said he had to get back with me because his customer had not given him everything and he had to pay an extra $3 to get the info. Something to that effect. Now I have two orders and no new script yet in the first problem and no script in the second order. I hope I have explained this and not confused too much. Any ideas about how to deal with this before going to Customer Service?
  19. Hi, I only have 40 reviews and a 5 star rating. I have finished 60 jobs. I work full time and hope one day to be able to quit my job and do this full time. Which is best for me? Cancelling the job or taking a bad review? Can you give me a scenario? Thanks in advance.
