  1. Sharing your gigs in Facebook groups can be very effective. Goodluck!
  2. Hi! I just noticed the buyer can extend the review time btw. Instead of 4 to 8 days. So my advice is when you have bigger projects to make use of the milestones. Goodluck everyone!
  3. Wishing you goodluck with getting orders. And happy that people are realistic and honest and helping sharing their suggestions & wisdom.
  4. Hi! Have just checked your profile, interested in a basic landing page. I still have to prepare a bit for it, but let´s connect and good luck!
  5. Had very good experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator (there is a free try-out version for a month, after it´s $95/month), Pinterest as well, FB groups. Perhaps an idea to look at new upcoming social platforms? I´ve heard about BlueSky, Lemon8, MeWe, Twitch 🙂 Gary Vaynerchuk aka GaryVee is the guru here. Goodluck!
  6. Canva, Google Docs, some AI actuary tools and a very old one: ipiccy.com 🙂
  7. Just negotiate with the buyer. I discovered it´s better to set the delivery time 1 day extra , I will also do that with my gigs, I´ve noticed I take a lot of time lately to analyze market trends.
  8. Thankyou for sharing this. Maybe something similar happened with my last buyer. Did a lot of effort but it looks like some messages were not received, even a new complaint in customer support dissapeared just 15min ago. I have spend at least 13+ hours on the project. I hope it can be fixed soon. By the way: I see more often excuses from buyers saying: ´this looks like chatgpt´ getting the work for free. So be aware. Goodluck everyone.
  9. This morning I made a vlog about the language of business. I often discovered that a (potential) buyer really prefers you´re speaking in the same terms, know what kind of topics, etc. Someone with for example a PhD tech background that wants to sell a product competing with Apple brand, but focussed on back-end to make sure the functionality is perfect, also only knows mainly how to talk about the back-end, which is kind of irrelevant for his buyer. So a marketeer can bridge the gap translating this: what does his buyer wants, and how can I assure the seller I have understood it correctly. But same as with Apple products, you really first have to try it out and experience what it does. Many people have to try it and experience. So question yourself this: Are we on the same terms? Is it relevant? What is the endgoal? Do you really understand what I say? Next to that, always take both negative and positive feedback serious and try to improve. Sometimes positive feedback can come from jealous people. Then in a later stadium people can say: ´She wasn´t grateful for my compliments and she just took it for granted´.
  10. Hi! Did you delete or change your gig? It´s not visible.
  11. I just looked/searched for your profile, maybe you can share the link to your gig here and in your forum profile, perhaps people are interested.
  12. Hi! Welcome and great you´re a full stack developer. There is no browse buyer requests. You can promote your gig to get buyers. You can talk with 30+ people on a daily basis as part of your job to gain leads. Goodluck and have fun!
  13. Hi John, welcome 🙂 I have just checked your gig and looks great so I wish you good luck with that. Just a tip: to provide more information on the sender for the reader, in name of the buyer. Next to that, FB groups are often good for visibility. Always deliver your service 6hrs or more before the deadline. A new one I´m looking into as well is to find a seller by username within the Fiverr app for the potential buyer. Now most of us just paste the full gig link within browser but the app is more convenient. You see that now when you type in the username in the regular search balk it will give a default and then below an option to search by username. There can be a separate search option for usernames (tip for Fiverr perhaps). Have wonderful holidays! Roberta
  14. Try to complete the order as soon as possible with suggestions for the missing information from the buyer. In this way there is space for revisions from the buyer and you can continue with other orders. Late is late, there is nothing you can do about that. Learn from it and plan in your tasks better next time. Goodluck!
  15. Yes, in for this! Was very happy when a client was happy. Sounds so simple, but it was really a lot of work and quite difficult. I prefer when a buyer is open and shares preferences and suggestions. I don´t mind if he/she sends me many information to research but making both conclusions on it and reflect on it leads to the best collaboration and so results. The biggest lesson was strategies to promote my gigs. Obviously social media: tip: always printscreen your connections/followers/following. Last year I could reach let´s say 300 likes and 8 sales from a single post. This year 2 likes and 0 sales. I have to say that I have at least 25 active competitors, some on it fulltime with a base salary = hired, so it´s more a sorting out how to eliminate competitors or making sure whatever you have build up will not be broken down. And so yes that is what excites me for the upcoming year, knowing that there are competitors out there that can be hired some only to break down whatever you are building to eventually gain what you are gaining. Stay stronger & sharper everyone 🙂
  16. Hi Mazibar, all the best of luck, may you get many clients.
  17. Helpful! I have the feeling I should charge more, yet, the urge to lower the price to attract more buyers. Today I will dedicate to do more research into my niche and competitors. ✨
  18. That is great, keep up the good work and all the blessings
  19. That´s a good one! There are so many topics you can focus on, if you´re in marketing for example you can select marketing for: beauty, sport, tourism etc. Then most likely Fiverr will only show results in ´marketing for beauty, sport & tourism´ and nothing else. I remember 1 day I selected construction and I got directly 3 leads.
  20. Hey! Yes that sucks. I´ve just had a look at your profile and your gigs (unreal engine game creation, cinematic animation for nft etc) they look attractive and I assume you focus on horror theme? Perhaps you can try another theme if that is suitable with your workstyle. For example candycrush style with rainbow colors. Goodluck, may you get more clients again!
  21. A new holiday and it can use a simple recognizable word for it. What do you think? And yes, you can celebrate it from anywhere in the world. Plant a tree today 😉
  22. You are the expert in your service, so treat yourself as how you would work for your customer + 10x better. Goodluck.
  23. When are you going to sleep and eat haha
