Forum's Terms of Service & Community Standards

Fiverr is where professionals across hundreds of industries from all over the world come to start and grow their businesses. Similarly, the Fiverr Forum is where those professionals come together to collaborate, exchange ideas, and expand their knowledge and understanding of Fiverr and the Freelancer Business as a whole.

While we encourage open expression of thoughts, it's equally important to maintain a positive atmosphere conducive to connection and learning for all forum users. With that in mind, we've created a set of rules and guidelines that must be followed within any and all activities within the forum. Any behavior contrary to these objectives will be subject to penalties.

Rules:

• Posting advertisements, self-promotion, or requests for sales or buyers is strictly prohibited.
• Plagiarizing or copying forum posts made by other members will not be tolerated.
• It is mandatory to cite your sources when sharing information from Fiverr or other platforms, including AI-generated content.
• All posts must maintain a courteous tone. While controversy or entertainment is acceptable, any form of attack on other forum members, Fiverr staff, or moderators will result in consequences.
• Use of respectful language is mandatory. Profanity, offensive language, sexual remarks, personal attacks, or negative callouts towards other members are strictly forbidden.
• Sharing content from private messages on the public forum is prohibited.
• Respect the privacy of others by refraining from mentioning the names of Fiverr staff, sellers, or buyers in your posts or comments.

General Engagement Guidelines:

• When initiating a new discussion, ensure it is distinct from existing threads.
• Utilize the search bar in the upper right-hand corner to check for pre-existing content.
• You're permitted to make edits within 30 minutes of publishing a post.
• If you need to amend your post after this timeframe, consider adding your correction in a new comment as a reply.
• Note: Moderators retain access to all edited or deleted posts.
• Posting links is permissible as long as they adhere to Fiverr’s Terms of Service.
• Links to your Fiverr Profile and/or Gig are only permitted on boards related to the subject, such as Tips from Sellers, Gig Advice, and New Member Introductions.
• You're not allowed to post links to personal websites or blogs.
• Note: For your safety and security, we recommend only clicking gig/profile links that include the fiverr.com domain.
• The Forum is not Fiverr’s Customer Support.
• While you may find answers to some questions in the forum, please ensure to reach out to Fiverr's Customer Support for technical issues, account concerns, or project-related questions.
• Our forum moderators cannot provide insights into your account, gig advice, or assist with order issues.
• Access to the Forum necessitates an active Fiverr account.
• If your forum access becomes restricted, please refer to the main forum page for any administrative notices.
• If you don't see a message or have further questions, kindly contact the Forum Moderators or Fiverr’s Customer Support.

Moderation:

• Fiverr reserves the right to:
• Edit, move, and/or remove any or all posts at any time, if deemed necessary.
• Limit temporarily or permanently disable accounts due to a breach of Fiverr’s Terms of Service and Community Standard.
• Threads created specifically with the intent of instigating negativity/dogpiling are subject to removal by Fiverr staff.
