  1. The Dark Knight. I am a big Christopher Nolan fan. Super excited for Oppenheimer!
  2. Hey there! When it comes to recommending a book that can broaden your horizons as a freelancer, I'd suggest checking out "Atlas Shrugged" by Ayn Rand. It's not your typical business book, but it's filled with powerful ideas that can apply to our freelance journey. Atlas Shrugged explores themes like individualism, entrepreneurship, and the pursuit of excellence. Even though it's not directly about freelancing, it offers valuable insights that can inspire you in your work and personal life. I have read it three times! The book celebrates the importance of embracing our individuality, taking risks, and pursuing our ambitious goals. It reminds us that our work as freelancers is valuable and makes a difference in the world. Plus, it's truly captivating. It reinforces the idea that a persons value should be derived from the things they produce, which is what freelancers do after all. Happy reading!
  3. So I don't think there is a surefire method, but I do think there are a few genuine strategies to boost your chances. Firstly, optimize your gig titles, descriptions, and tags with relevant keywords. Research all of the relevent keywords, tags, etc and create forum/blog posts. Become active in the forums. Showcase your expertise, provide clear pricing, and offer outstanding customer service in your offering. Actively promote your gigs on social media platforms and engage with potential buyers. I have considered paying for social media marketing, but won't until I see more promising results (I too, am struggling with conversions). Lastly, focus on delivering exceptional work, garner positive reviews, and cultivate a strong reputation.
  4. @looseink Absolutely agree with your approach here. The conversion hurdle can indeed be a perplexing one, and I've found myself in a similar position in the past. You're correct that sometimes a simple solution can make all the difference; it can often be a case of fine-tuning a minor element that has been overlooked. And yes, the one-month period is often not enough to see significant change. It's a critical realization that even seasoned marketers often forget - success requires consistency and patience. Your decision to invest more time into your Fiverr career resonates with me. I, too, have experienced ups and downs over the years on the platform. It's quite a journey, isn't it? Looking forward to hearing about your progress. I truly hope the coaching sessions with Seller Plus Premium provide you with the insights you're looking for. Good luck!
  5. Hey there @frank_d, fantastic post as always! I thoroughly appreciate your deep-dive analysis and willingness to share your observations and thoughts with us. I couldn't agree more with your interpretation of Fiverr's BSR and its subsequent impact on sales. However, I would like to point out an area that perhaps needs more emphasis. The fact that we are not just sellers, but we are also the architects of the buyer's experience on this platform. Every interaction we have shapes not only our own BSR but influences the perception of Fiverr as a whole. We have the power to convert a first-time buyer into a repeat customer or drive them away. I firmly believe that every time we engage with a new client, we are given an opportunity to showcase not only our own skills but also to represent the whole community of dedicated and professional sellers that inhabit Fiverr. This is not about gaming the system or finding shortcuts but elevating the entire ecosystem. As for the "get out of jail" card and your speculation about different BSR metrics for new and existing buyers, that's a thought-provoking hypothesis. It would indeed make sense for Fiverr to weigh the satisfaction of new users more heavily as it's critical to ensure their initial experience is positive. In the end, the secret sauce to a successful seller profile isn't just numbers and metrics, it's about genuine engagement and dedication to customer satisfaction. Fiverr, after all, is a marketplace fueled by creativity and it's in that spirit we should interact with our clients. I appreciate your post and look forward to more enlightening discussions in the future. Here's to another year of growth and discovery on Fiverr! 🎂 🎉
