  1. I follow the rule - divide and conquer. I pre-planned my daily tasks whether work or life-related into simple and small chunks and then process them one by one. Additionally, I take breaks in between and sometimes when I don't feel like working, I don't work and concentrate on my mental health.
  2. If it is a myth that staying online could attract clients, people still follow this.
  3. Mandy, I'm glad you're speaking out about this, and I hope that Fiverr will have a look at their policies. They need to understand how their policies and practices impact freelancers. Whether it is Ai or something, still there must be an explanation idk. We have to keep going, what else we can do.
  4. Hey @mandyzines, I'm in the same boat. I had a 5-star rating, but then I got a 4.3 from a buyer who was happy with the work but not very clear from the start and demanded more. They gave a positive review but with a 4.3-star rating. Since then, I've only gotten two more orders in the month of August, and there's been almost no client reach ever since. I'm getting more and more depressed and demotivated, because I don't understand how the algorithm works. It's a tough time for me, but I'm still trying to get through it by following all the rules, being online almost 18 hours a day, and even creating two new gigs. But it's still barren. The only order I got this month was from one of my regular buyers. I don't know what else to do. 😞
  5. I believe it's 2023, and it's considered impolite to ask about someone's income as it's a personal matter and can be awkward. 😄
  6. I think I wouldn't really ask anything, but I would just be proud of what I have achieved in life, with the love of my life. I would be proud of the things I have accomplished personally and professionally. I would be proud of my relationships with my family and friends. And I would be proud of the love I have found with my partner. I think it would be a very emotional experience to meet my future self. I would be curious to see what my life has become. But I think also a little bit sad because I would know that my future self is getting older and that my time is limited.
  7. This is kinda relatable, haha. We usually prefer to explore local spots or another city nearby, all that matters in the end is being with our loved ones and spending time with them. Sometimes, I wish I could go to a silent place by the seaside, the light rays of the morning sun on my face and some good food and drinks. Sounds heavenly, no?
  8. Oh, I love love love garlic as long as they're fried, or baked, spreading on a toast with a lil seasoning of salt and tomatoes. I usually add garlic to everything, kinds of pasta, cheese garlic toast and the fun fact is almost every Pakistani food is incomplete without adding ginger garlic paste, haha.
  9. Not as interesting and unique as others but still, this is all I could remember 😅 1- I once discreetly tossed a meat chunk my mama fed me. It just wasn't my thing. Oops, sorry, Mom! 2- College days: Fell hard from a bus, but stood up like a boss because everyone was watching! 3- Nights are my jam! I hate sleeping at night; I'm most productive and alive when the moon is up. 4-Pasta is my ultimate obsession. I could eat it every day without getting tired of it! 5-Despite my strong appearance, losing people really scares me. I'm not as tough as I seem. 6- I swing between extremes – super lazy or hyperactive. No middle ground for me!
  10. I believe you have handled the situation exceptionally well, and ultimately, it is the buyer's decision whether to choose us or not. Recently, a buyer contacted me inquiring about a complete branding tool kit and proposed an extremely low price. It was disheartening to receive such an offer. However, the buyer later approached me again, expressing dissatisfaction with the work done by another designer. I responded politely, providing my price, and the buyer agreed to pay me the full amount. Ps. Always trust your instincts and do not undervalue your work. By doing this, you may get less number of buyers but probably the good ones.
  11. Absolutely! Providing clients with a sample video that includes a watermark is a fantastic way to show off your skills and give them a taste of what you can do. Also, try building a portfolio to showcase your abilities and skills. As long as the watermark is clearly visible and the intention is solely to showcase your abilities, it's generally considered an acceptable practice.
  12. Haha, I love this straightforward approach 😄 but he's seriously too much. Haha, I am not even sure about the other two 😅
  13. Hey fellow Fiverr friend, I think instead of going to physical destinations, I'll be exploring the vast online world, discovering new design trends, and bringing imaginative ideas to life through my work. Or maybe spend a few days at my granny's place 😃
  14. If you want to check if a seller's reviews on Fiverr are reliable without wasting money on a trial order, you can try doing these- Check a variety of reviews from different times and ratings to get a broader view Talk to the seller and see how well they communicate and understand your needs
  15. I believe we all have experienced a mix of challenging and rewarding experiences, with memorable orders and requests that leave a lasting impact. However, there might be also navigating competition, and managing expectations. And it is simple not relevant to use 'bed of roses' as if people here are earning just by pressing a button lol
