Fiverr is a matching service. It is not a ranking service. Your gigs appear to the buyers who are most likely to purchase from you based on the quality of your gigs and other criteria. I have never done social media marketing, yet I am doing well on Fiverr.

This whole thing about social media marketing makes me laugh. 

If someone isn't getting sales then certain members of the community will come on here and immediately say 'do social media marketing'!  as if it's going to solve all of their problems...

But consider this.  Your gig most likely isn't selling because of the following. 

1) You're in a saturated market

2) Your gig quality is poor, images/description/personal profile 

3) Points one and two combined. 

So by flooding social media with poorly created gigs, it's a bit like pushing the Flintstones car onto a Royals Royce forecourt.  Unless you change the quality, and make it stand out, you're just going to be looked over. 

So before you listen to the people who say, share your gigs and everything will be fine, the reality is that it won't.   

Quality and innovation is the key to ranking, not sharing!
