  1. Is there an indication of an unread message still if you use the auto-reply feature? I remember people talking about that issue from before.
  2. I have the same comments or complaints about it as others do here. While showing off all these admittedly intriguing tools, they also clearly pointed out that "You don't have to hire writers anymore. You can generate text in minutes!" (Not a direct quote). There is no doubt that the market will flood with people passing off content of all kinds generated directly with AI.
  3. I can't/won't do Zoom calls for a variety of reasons I'm not going to list. However, it is a viable option for people in the content-creation world. Amazing people have to prove they're human to work! It's like a career CAPTCHA "I am not a robot" thing. These advancements are making me glad for building multiple egg baskets (Don't put your eggs all in one basket... multiple income sources) over the years.
  4. I certainly hope not! I do the same thing (plagiarism checks). Fiverr shouldn't penalize people for helping to clean up the platform.
  5. This is one of my favorite additions Fiverr's made over the years. I absolutely do not dismiss new buyers automatically, but the data does help determine if someone is worth extra effort sometimes. It's like a risk assessment metric when the contact feels slightly off for one reason or another. The "With You" tab helps more, although I wish we could add our own note to buyer's IDs for our inbox!
  6. As far as I can tell, there isn't a way to add a subscription to an existing order. If they did cancel and reorder right away, it wouldn't affect your seller stats, however. Another option is to simply create another subscription order next week or month with five parts. It would be nice if we could add a subscription as a gig extra!
  7. I'm sure you can. I'd suggest contacting Fiverr directly when you turn 18 to switch things over and verify your personal ID.
  8. It would be great if the people who did this read the post. Unfortunately, they will probably just emoji it (It's a verb if I say it is!) and add to the notification load. I get dozens a day, too. Some reactions are on things I posted more than a year ago. What do they think that will do?
  9. Woah. I don't think sellers are allowed to use Fiverr in their user name! It's trademarked! You're breaking the law... not just TOS.
  10. I wonder how they define 'relevant buyers.' Ones who bought the same type of service in the past or searched for it at all? Adjacent service buyers? (e.g., Someone who buys book ghostwriting receives ads for book cover design)
  11. February is a big birthday month in my household, so I'm looking forward to celebrating with family. My eldest turns 25! Besides work, most of the rest of the month is full of packing and getting ready to move. It's finally happening this year. Time for a fresh start.
  12. I took a look at your profile. You state this: That is your profile.. If you have vast knowledge of all these marketing fields, are able to engage viewers and grow businesses for clients... why are you struggling to do it for yourself?
  13. I wish this was an option. I have my own specific and essential questions on the gig order page. I don't need this general stuff, and it only clutters up my page and the ordering process. There is no way to turn them off right now.
  14. Thanks for the explanation Vickie. It makes sense to outsource busy work.
  15. The sword and rose design shows up on two different Pinterest boards. I'd be careful about copyright infringement claims. You may want to use your own unique, Fiverr-exclusive work for your gig.
  16. Do people really hire others to copy-paste things for them? I can't imagine who would need this and why.
  17. That's where we shop... it's the cheapest around here. Ours is $15 for the two-pack. It's actually down from $18 a couple of weeks ago. High cost of living area, I guess! I'm vegetarian and mostly vegan. However, there are people in my household that doesn't work for. Shopping seasonally is definitely a good idea for everyone.
  18. I never quite understood the quest for motivation when it comes to business. The ability to pay bills is good motivation, right? How about the ability to give clients what they need and want? These things are intrinsic and undeniable. You don't need additional motivation. What you need is knowledge, perseverance, and agility. If you know and accept the fact that you have to improve your skills, learn new ones, adapt to the market and overall economy, and work hard, there's no time or energy left to seek motivation. It's like spending all your time looking for a cool motivational quote poster instead of going to the gym if you want to get fit.
  19. Wow. We buy two-packs of 18 eggs and pay $15 right now. I need those billionaire secrets (insert eye roll emoji!)
  20. Ahh, yes. The whole "You need to completely redo this so it's just not worth it!" claim. I've had a few, and yes, they are from people trying to get work for free. (Assuming you actually delivered a quality article!) I tend to ask specific and highly professional questions about what exactly they didn't like about the piece. If they can't or won't -- which is normal since all they don't like about it is that they have to pay -- I redeliver. Have I gotten less than stellar ratings due to this in the past? Perhaps. That's a risk you have to weigh vs. the rest of your ratings and feedback. Hope everything works out well for you!
  21. January is usually slow for me because I take off a couple weeks in December over the holidays. Things are picking up as expected again. I am about to do a considerable overhaul/upgrade of my gigs, so I'll see how that affects things soon.
  22. Definitely contact customer service about that. We can't help you on the forum.
  23. No. That's not how Fiverr works. However, there is a new Briefs system. If you activate it, you may get some in your messages. Briefs are from buyers looking for specific services that hopefully align with yours.
  24. Does PayPal even allow multiple people to own one account? I have no clue, but it sounds sketchy.
  25. Is it possible? Yes. I'm sure it is for some people. Is it a good idea to rely on Fiverr or any other single platform? Absolutely not. What happens if your sales on one site take a downturn? What if something happens to the platform itself? You will be left with limited or no income. Always diversify when you are self-employed or own your own business.
