  1. I have never done this, so I'm just sharing my best guess here. The last two lines or the instructions on that page seem to indicate to me that you would deliver (use the normal delivery button on the order page) with the tracking information that proved you shipped the item to the buyer. Then, they would have 14 days to verify that they received it. I can't imagine how Fiverr would approach a 'lost in transit' package, though.
  2. I recommend that everyone branches out and earns money from other sources than Fiverr. You might get more traction on your in-depth post if you create a new topic with it though!
  3. What an interesting topic! That cookbook is hilarious and I'm definitely checking it out. My most interesting book is probably a first edition Old Mr. Boston's Official Bartending Guide. I used to spend hours in used book stores and at library sales but I live in a small house and have no more room for books these days.
  4. You'd think they'd give more people the same tools to bring in business. This is just odd how different everyone has it.
  5. Oh. Maybe that too. I should have looked into it more before replying!
  6. Oh gosh, I'm sorry. It's apparent a Seller Plus thing.
  7. It usually means the post was deleted for some reason. No one can view it anymore.
  8. When I'm not writing (or doing boring life stuff), I do needlework or fly stunt kites. I used to go to stunt kite competitions, but haven't for several years now. I also spend some time everyday learning something. I like dabbling in digital art and photo manipulation, but I'm not very good at it. Those flowers are beautiful, @smartdezigns! I love the bottles in the middle picture.
  9. Under the Growth and Marketing tab at the top of the screen, there is a subheading "BYOB," which stands for "Bring Your Own Business." This is an easy way to send an offer to someone outside of Fiverr.
  10. Most of the briefs I get request services I do not provide OR they are sellers looking for work. I'm training the system (hopefully) to work better for me. I have received two orders from the Briefs system so far. They went smoothly with no issues.
  11. As I understand it, if Fiverr blocks them, it will not affect your response rate. If you block, you have to answer first. This happened to me years ago. I went from Level 2 to 0 because I simply marked things as spam and moved on. Now I have a quick response I hit before doing so. You will regain levels one at a time at the usual monthly check.
  12. I'm glad you figured it out (although free money would've been better, right?). I just wanted to point out that Milestone orders after the first one are also shown without anything in the order column on the earnings page.
  13. Directing people to find you off the Fiverr site is against the TOS.
  14. Absolutely! This is so true. Yes, I do give occasional discounts to long-time sellers that don't cause any problems. The Seller Plus coupon option helps with this although most just contact me for custom offers at this point. No! I can only offer you my regular rates. -- My vote!
  15. Please report that person. It's a request for s****l kink activity, which is absolutely not allowed on Fiverr. No seller should have to deal with things like that. The person should get banned.
  16. The Buyer Request system doesn't exist anymore. It hasn't for a while.
  17. Pfeffernusse! They're little sugar-glazed spice cookies. We use an old-world recipe from my grandmother (All my grandparents are from Germany... I'm 2nd gen American, so try to hold onto a few foods and traditions.)
  18. Yes, you can say that if that is what you do.
  19. I've been a writer forever and keep up with this whole AI thing. Lots of people use them for basic blog posts, etc. I've had people ASK me to use them! Nope. I'm not sure why you'd hire a professional writer if you want them to use AI. I'm not that nervous about it yet. If things change, we adapt. That's how freelancers stay in business.
  20. If you cannot pass the test, consider that you do not have the skills to offer that type of work. Perhaps you should take more time to learn.
  21. Jeesh, I need faster internet or something's wrong. Usually vids and stuff show up in the forum for me. With those names attached, it's definitely worth the wait, though.
  22. I think this is just a fact and not a personal weakness. It still amazes me how fatigued writing a lot makes me even after so many years doing it! One of my weaknesses is probably taking on too much all at once. I have real-life issues that make scheduling and organization very difficult, but I do have to get better at it. I also lack patience sometimes with people who do not communicate clearly or efficiently enough. Of course, I remain professional! I'd love it if people got to the point and answered all my questions right away.
