  1. No, it's not violating Fiverr rules. There is no rule that says a seller has to take every order from every buyer. They may be available for orders... just not yours. Maybe it was too big, or a topic they don't want to touch, etc.
  2. You broke a few Fiverr TOS rules, so reporting them to Fiverr isn't going to do much for you. Your account will probably be in jeopardy now.

    How?!

You don't. You speak with the person who contacted you. If someone else with a Fiverr account wants to order from you, they should contact you. It's actually against Fiverr TOS to contact people (buyers, if you are a seller) who haven't contacted you about an order first.
  4. I'm sorry if it sounded like I was accusing you of that. I absolutely was not. Just mentioning it because I can't tell potential buyers what my pen names are, so they have no way of checking out my writing.
  5. I am. I'm both traditionally (not big 5) and self-published under various pen names. They have nothing to do with my work here on Fiverr for the most part, however, as we are not allowed to point people off the platform at other names/contacts.
  6. If the buyer approved the milestones, you cannot cancel them now. They're done and accepted. You can cancel a current and any future milestones. This absolutely sounds like they're trying to get work for free. Stop writing new manuscripts for free. They've accepted your work up until now. I'd suggest asking them exactly what is the issue with what you've written so far and suggest an editing extra to rewrite some of it. This would be an extra custom order. You could ask Fiverr or your Seller Plus manager for guidance (the latter would be more appropriate for this type of request, if you are a SP member), and to cancel current and future milestones.
  7. Where else can you launch your own business and only spend 20% of revenue on an online presence, payment processing, digital services, some marketing, etc.
  8. Cancel and report them. The more people report thieves, scammers, and plagiarists, the better for Fiverr and all honest sellers and buyers.
  9. You're allowed to (as long as there's no outside information/contact options, of course), but I think it would cause more delays and headaches. What if the buyer didn't fill out the form and send it back promptly? What if they ignored it? I'd really suggest getting all the required information on the order itself.
  10. I'm with you all. I've had two gigs threatened because I didn't check all the little service boxes. I didn't offer those things, so I left them unchecked, but I suppose that's not an option anymore. I shut down one of the gigs while I decide if I want to change my services that much. It makes no sense to force sellers to offer something buyers supposedly expect if the seller doesn't do that thing. That's only going to lead to people who can't do that thing claiming they can and will. (Did that make sense?) Let us decide our own services please!
  11. The only thing to do is create a new subscription order when the last one is done.
  12. I got a message like this once on a social site. It wasn't impressive. I think it must have been cold or something.
  13. Yes, unfortunately, you will receive quite a bit of spam. Just keep flagging them and take deep breaths to relax.
  14. You should say no. After all, you did read the Terms of Service, right? You know that you're not allowed to do that.
  15. This is the softest, fluffiest, warmest, and gentlest post I've ever seen Mike make.
  16. If a buyer orders a subscription for three orders, for example, all of those will stay at the original price when they were ordered. If you change your gig pricing between their first and second order, their second and third orders will be at the old price still. If they place a new subscription order, of course the prices will reflect your new prices from the start.
  17. Fiverr does this. Most sellers hate them, too, but we can't do anything about it. I'd much prefer just to have my specific questions related to the gig show up for buyers. Makes it easier and more streamlined!
  18. If a new price isn't working for you, perhaps put your prices back where they were.
  19. Did you contact them about buying their video services? Or just to ask random questions. Also, if your account was disabled, having this one is a violation of TOS unless you got permission from Fiverr to create it.
  20. Unfortunately, the rules say you have to respond to everyone. I have an instant response set up that basically says "Spam" and then I click the Spam button. I've heard that if you click the Spam button (or Report), it doesn't count against you. However, I'm not 100% sure. Your ranking should go up against next month.
  21. Use your digital marketing skills...
  22. Got a notification just now "Your profile is missing something. Complete it with a display name." I already have. My display name is on my profile. Do I have to do something else?
  23. Fiverr doesn't have work for you because that's not how the platform works. I'd suggest using your Facebook Ad skills to build your business and point leads to your gigs here if you want more traction. Surely an expert can use their skills to do that! Fiverr tends to reward successful gigs with more attention. As a marketing professional, you seem like the perfect person to grow your own business.
