  1. This is happening to me right now, too. They say they've changed things in the pricing (added some options, removed some) but my existing pricing structure is still active and functional. I changed it as a test and the suggestion to 'fix' it still sits there. Who knows? I'm planning more extensive gig edits soon, so maybe those would help.
  2. You did something that broke the Terms of Service. Did you read it? You should be able to figure out what you did wrong. There is nothing more to be done. Move on and best of luck to you.
  3. Many of us try very hard to help newcomers and other experienced sellers alike. There are vast threads full of excellent information that we hope everyone reads and learns from. People are very generous around here with true help. However, many other forum users repeatedly post things that are not helpful. Either the information is flat-out wrong or it is way too general or basic to make any difference at all. I mentioned that in my comment on this thread. What does "optimize your gig title/image/description" mean? What can you get out of that in order to make effective, actionable changes to your gig and succeed here. Part of helping others is pointing out when things don't help. If you wanted to learn how to make cookies, I would absolutely speak up if someone suggested dicing onions or something like "stir ingredients" but never said what those ingredients were.
  4. I'm experiencing the same thing from around that point. However, other factors are at play. I initially had a slow-down due (I assumed) to taking a few weeks off around the holidays. It always takes a while for things to pick up again after Out of Office. I also requested cancellation for four Incomplete orders lingering on my dashboard. CS removed the cancellation percentage drop right away, but I wonder if that had some backend effect, too. My data trends haven't rebounded to 2022 'normal' yet.
  5. Besides everything the experienced sellers stated above, the advice is so generic as to be useless. Optimize everything. Well, yes. We should all make everything as optimized as possible, but what does that mean? This thread is a good example of how to find (and not find) quality guidance on the forum. It is out there. It takes more effort than this to find it.
  6. I have a similar issue at times. There is a difference between editing and completely rewriting things because they are just awful. I do ask for a sample of the writing before I tell the potential buyer what service they truly need. Most people contact me before ordering anyway, but using the Request to Order feature as Donnovan says makes a lot of sense.
  7. Really, really common with MidJourney and other AI art. If they're selling AI art without editing, this is to be expected. Since the OP says they're a Photoshop etc. expert, they should perhaps offer *edited* AI pictures to fix those problems. This line in the OP's gig page: "why do you need to work as a dummies?" I'm not sure what they're trying to say, but it sounds insulting. Why would someone want to buy from you if you call them dummies?
  8. It would be nice if Fiverr listened to this request at long last! It actually affects seller ability to do their work and provide excellent customer service. The new name thing just makes my profile look repetitive.
  9. Take the time to read the highly rated threads covering this topic already on the forum. Look at the seller profiles of the people posting first. Trust the words of those who have been here a while and have many great reviews. Do not trust information from people with only a few sales or who use ChatGPT to create posts. The ability to take initiative and research properly are vital to business success.
  10. Breals did not tag you. He didn't say anything about you posting this question. Other people in the thread who responded to you broke some rules, so he was telling them.
  11. Most plagiarism tools I've used tell you where the copied content appears online. They give you a URL. If it's your own Fiverr account like breals said, it's fine. If it's somewhere else, there's a problem. Simple rewrite things and don't copy other people's content.
  12. Am I strange because I don't pay any attention at all to when my buyers are online? I simply ask questions, make comments, and deliver orders when necessary and then wait.
  13. You need to contact Fiverr customer support directly. No one on the forum can help with this.
  14. Do not contact support about this. They are not responsible for the success of your business. What have you done to grow your business? Staying online all day and night does nothing. What actual steps have you taken? Actually, I just looked at one of your gigs and see you plagiarized from another seller. Thieves do not deserve to succeed.
  15. I opted not to use the word count input field and just make different packages for higher word counts. Most buyers contact me before ordering (Seller Plus people can put that limitation on their gigs now.), but I have had people order multiples of a smaller gig and expect me to write 20,000 words in three days or similar. This is one of the eternal complaints about order management around here.
  16. No. You cannot fraudulently use your mother's legal identity to create a Fiverr account after yours was disabled in the past. This is against TOS and all business ethics. Good grief. If your mother has freelance skills she wants to sell, but is on the same computer/IP as you, she should contact customer support to ask.
  17. I do not work on Fiverr full-time, although it does take up the full day sometimes... if that makes sense. I have set business hours for managing messages (and emails, etc. for non-Fiverr work), but often work outside of those. My life requires flexibility, so other things often dictate when I'm actually fulfilling orders.
  18. This would be impossible. You don't do a few edits to your gig and it springs to the top of the results for everyone. If it were that simple, the first page would be 5 million gigs long. Ranking like that doesn't exist here. In order to show 'live proof' you would need a host of active buyer accounts and record site updates on each on their search screens for days.
  19. I agree with Maxtpf. Buyers who expect you to be awake at 2AM are not ones you want to work with. I've actually come across a few potential buyers who didn't seem to understand time zones before. They got quite confused and even irate when I explained they had messaged me in the middle of the night my time.
  20. I think this is part of the problem. While it is important to continuously improve, many new sellers launch a gig without the ability to do what they're offering. They do not have professional level skills yet. Skills first (and that includes business skills!) and then launch a gig.
  21. What would be the purpose of that? We're not employees and it would serve no official purpose.
  22. The Seller Plus program allows you to check your own keywords and other analytic details. There's no way of checking for other sellers, however.
  23. I hope I live long enough to plug my keyboard into a brain in a jar on my desk while I go relax instead! Sounds great. (Eek!)
  24. I occasionally end a line of questioning with, "I'm sorry, but I do not offer business consultation services. I do...." and describe how my services can help them. I don't want to train people to do my job.
  25. "Because if I if I need to have like 10 writers that will write 10 articles a week, now I can have why I engine that will write thousands of articles in an hour and also generate large volumes of content weekly." (Quote from the transcript that obviously contradicts the above claim.) At this point, there's no putting AI back in Pandora's box, so to speak. I understand that. However, it is simply not true that they aren't a replacement for humans. We can't expect Fiverr to outlaw its use or somehow fight its advance... unfortunately. I think it's rather naïve to think that people will put "Made with AI" in their gig descriptions, every AI-generated message, and the projects they deliver. What system does Fiverr have in place to ensure that happens? AI comments are already inundating the forum. Plagiarism (copying of gig descriptions and profiles) is a constant when it comes to sellers' gigs. How is Fiverr planning to avoid becoming "That place where everything is AI generated?" ETA -- I'm a writer here and elsewhere. I've been involved in lot of conversations about AI. I'm confident that my skills will keep making me a living, so I'm not waving a protest sign about AI. It absolutely has its uses and is quite impressive. It does rouse a LOT of anger, hate, and disdain, however, and if Fiverr becomes 'that place where bad sellers use AI for everything," the reputation will only suffer... and it's not that great to begin with, to be honest.
