  1. That is very, very odd. I would think that whoever made that response didn't understand something? Fiverr does have a whole category for guest posting, so saying it's not allowed makes zero sense. Maybe it was about the specific site or platform you offered to post on? Who knows?
  2. You are not allowed to contact buyers on the phone or Whatsapp. You were probably scammed. Also, you broke Fiverr TOS so your account may be in jeopardy.
  3. Huge red flag. I'd suspect the older work is not theirs in that case.
  4. Like Smashradio said, you can ask. Another option is to create samples that have nothing to do with actual orders.
  5. The market for freelance poetry must be quite small, especially in a not-so-great economy. I'd suggest thinking of reasons why people would need poems and tailoring your gigs to specific purposes.
  6. If you can't find the books, how do you know they are 6-10 years old? It's possible the person made mock book covers for books that don't actually exist as portfolio samples. They may have sold pre-made covers in the past but are shifting sales to Fiverr. I'm just throwing out possibilities.
  7. No. The only option would be to add custom gig extras (the blue link at the bottom there) and specify how many extra products they'd get. You could create custom extras for 5 products, 10 products, etc. Also specify in the gig description that you are happy to work with any number and can provide custom offers. Every gig and extra needs a deadline, so the days are required.
  8. It would make more sense to go to the main Fiverr site as a buyer and search for 'product descriptions' or similar words. You will find plenty of people who offer that service. The forum is not the place to look for sellers.
  9. I'm honestly not trying to be insensitive, but I don't see how having difficulties walking could impact Fiverr freelance work. Nothing here involves physical activity of any kind. Well, unless you sell dance videos or similar. Such as not putting quality captions on any of their videos.
  10. I blame it on a combination of the economy and the rise of AI. I've been at this freelance writing thing for a long time now, and this is probably the biggest technical shift in the industry. Time to adapt. I've always had multiple businesses/income sources running, so I'm putting more focus into other things these days. I do miss my Fiverr income levels of yesteryear, though!
  11. I just saw this on the Pro page: (https://www.fiverr.com/cp/fiverr-pro-launch) customer communication outside the Fiverr platform Does this mean people will be able to contact us off the platform now? And vice versa? ALSO... it would be really, really helpful if Fiverr could use basic captions on their videos! Not very accessible of them.
  12. Not only are you wrong, you quoted ME. My account hasn't been disabled because I follow the TOS. I'm far from hopeless.
  13. It doesn't really matter in the end. You broke the rules, so there are consequences. "But they did it too!" isn't a defense. Apparently you got away with it for a long time and profited from your rule-breaking.
  14. I haven't been on an actual vacation in decades. My family tries to discover some interesting local spots to explore when it's not too hot, though. We all hate the heat! This year, we're moving, so I will undoubtedly have to take time off for that.
  15. Not sure yet. I'm considering a complete overhaul to my Fiverr business, to be honest. I agree. Not to sound egotistical, but I know I'm professional and deliver quality work, so I'm not a problem, but I am nowhere near meeting the original requirements of Pro Verified. Those things weren't on my radar in the past (SM presence, $100 min, etc.) Curious how this will all shift in the future. Anything that helps Fiverr's reputation is a big plus in my book.
  16. Well... I received the 'You're a Pro now!' email. I never applied. There's nothing about changing my prices. I haven't worked for many massive, global brands. I have under 5000 ratings... and I even have some negative ones. Perhaps I'm bringing things down and cheapening the 'Pro' label. At this point, I'm not sure what this will do to/for me or the site. Just adding some data to the conversation.
  17. 1 - I once gave someone a concussion with a stunt kite (The fool ran under it before I could safely land it.) 2 - I haven't met a type of cheese I don't like. 3 - I once 'ran away from home' on the family's riding lawnmower. (I didn't get far... they could track me easily from the noise.)
  18. Many things are damaging to health. I can't imagine Fiverr could exclude all of them. Also, many things are illegal in different places but legal in others... alcohol, certain banned food additives, being LGBTQ, etc. Again, not Fiverr's job to 'police' industries/subjects, in my opinion.
  19. I would suggest you start researching other platforms and ways to freelance that have nothing to do with Fiverr. I would expect your account to get disabled at some point. Don't waste time with fear or wondering whether you'll get one or five marks against you.
  20. That is not true. Sellers can perform services for people off the Fiverr platform... as in making websites, doing social media management, etc. They cannot take business off Fiverr, however. That means you cannot tell a buyer to email you, pay through another processor, etc.
  21. I have had a few non-American buyers ask if I am Christian before. They wanted to hire me to write religious-themed books. It makes sense to hire a writer or social media manager, etc. who has in-depth knowledge about your topic or industry (and yes, religion is a huge industry). I tend to stay away from such projects.
  22. It's been SEVEN months since BR disappeared. Rather than bemoan the change, perhaps it is time to dedicate energy to finding new ways to move forward with your career. This might sound harsh, but there are already threads about this. Complaining about an old policy change (7 months is pretty old in the freelance world!) has no positive purpose.
  23. No, it's not violating Fiverr rules. There is no rule that says a seller has to take every order from every buyer. They may be available for orders... just not yours. Maybe it was too big, or a topic they don't want to touch, etc.
  24. You broke a few Fiverr TOS rules, so reporting them to Fiverr isn't going to do much for you. Your account will probably be in jeopardy now.

    How?!

You don't. You speak with the person who contacted you. If someone else with a Fiverr account wants to order from you, they should contact you. It's actually against Fiverr TOS to contact people (buyers, if you are a seller) who haven't contacted you about an order first.
