  1. I am placing another order today with a seller, so I will probably be back tomorrow with some updates on whether it will show me stars or emojis this time. I am hoping for the stars, but who knows about Fiverr's transparency better than us. Let's see what Fiverr has cooked up in this last week.
  2. ...What! Can someone please tell me if these stupid emojis are back again? A week ago (March 21, to be precise), when I left reviews for a seller, it was showing me stars instead of emojis. I thought that Fiverr started listening to sellers and changed emojis to stars. This is how things were: (I don't have an exact screenshot from that time, so I've edited it in Photoshop just to give an idea of how stars were appearing on my end.)
  3. Well, forget whether it's a good description or not (that's a long discussion and I can mention a lot of flaws in your description). But for now, I just want to say that you're just one step away from getting flagged or banned from the platform. Your gig description starts with a website link that has all your personal information, including social media links and even your phone number. Sharing such links (if they have your personal information) is not allowed, and in most cases, sellers get a direct permanent ban without any prior warning.
  4. Sure, you can send the sample files through the inbox, and technically, it's not against Fiverr rules. However, it's generally not recommended by anyone, including Fiverr. Working for someone for free isn't a good idea because most of the time, those buyers never return after getting the sample. You will just lose your time and effort. Instead, you could send them a custom offer for the sample. For an example: If the full order value is $100, you could quote the sample at $20-30 (or whatever amount works for you and the buyer).
  5. The reality is, Fiverr (or any website owner out there on the internet) can track what browser extensions you're using if they want to. Not only that, but they can also track your last visited pages/tabs and even track your mouse movements (this is where the game of multiple accounts comes into play, as AI can easily detect if the exact same mouse movements are coming from two different accounts -- means same person is running two accounts). So, it's completely against the Terms of Service, and it's not even possible to bypass these things and get away with them! 🙂
  6. @jasmynnesvoice It's a scam! Fiverr never asks for your bank or credit card details for any type of verification. The website that you have just visited is a scam website and is not affiliated with Fiverr in any way.
  7. The 'Last Seen' and 'Online/Offline' status in the inbox never work for me either. In my case, the status on the Order Page is always correct. Or if I have to check if any client is online or offline (if I do not have any active order with them), I just click on the 'message' button on the header and with the small popup, it will show me the correct online/offline status. I won't be able to check the last seen, though. Fiverr has million dollars to spend on creating AI algorithms that mess with many people -- but they won't spend a single effort in fixing these small issues. I know and understand that these small bugs are not stopping us from working with clients, but c'mon, ever heard of 'user experience'?! This 'Last seen' bug in the inbox has been there for me since the beginning (I guess 2021 or 2022), but no fixes yet. Also, no security measures on recent scams that are going on (buyers coming with the official Fiverr logo in their profile and scamming sellers). Ahhh, looks like there's no benefit to rant here. Anyways, no one is listening to us.
  8. I am an iPhone user and facing a bug in the mobile app. It's showing me that I do not have any level, but I am a Level 2 seller with a Success Score of 9. On Desktop, the stats are showing fine, and I am only facing this bug in the mobile app. I also checked the App Store, and the app is fully updated. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? @Kesha Can you please take a look? UPDATE: Just after posting this topic, it's solved now. I am able to access the level on the mobile app. But can you please stop giving us (sellers) heart attacks? I was driving when I opened my app, and for a second, I thought that I am flagged or banned. Things could have gone way too wrong due to Fiverr's irresponsibilities and bugs. I hope you will understand @Kesha. Can you please pass this issue to the Fiverr higher management? This is not the first time sellers have faced this bug.
  9. Send them a custom offer! Let them take their time and keep exploring their options. I just write a message saying, "Please take your time and let me know after having a confirmation on the order. I am only one text away!" If you ask me: I would say it's not always good to lock every single deal. Let a few buyers go! Most of the time, buyers who keep exploring their endless options and looking for cheap options only create trouble. And I still have a 7.59% conversion rate (better than 90% of sellers in my category). So from my part, I just ask questions related to the order and attend to the buyer's queries (if they have any) — other than that, I never put buttery, cheesy messages just to lock any deal.
  10. This was the exact response that I received from her (on February 01). Just like you, I am also waiting so that this timeframe is over. 😂😂 Due to hiccups, when I told my client that I no longer want to work with him, it hurt his ego and he changed his review to 1-star by contacting customer support (and it's full of lies, lies, and lies). I do not want to risk leaving a response at this point, and expose his mindset & review as it will draw attention to him, and he may leave a negative review.
  11. Whoever sends you a Telegram (or other social media links) message is 99.99% likely to be a scam, so it's not worth having a chit-chat with them and wasting your time and energy. Just write any response (maybe just "Hi" or "Hello") so it doesn't impact your Response Rate — and then block the user (also recommended if you can report the profile to Fiverr). P.S.: Also, it's completely against the Fiverr TOS to share personal information (just in case if you're not aware, as you're new on the platform), so having communication with these scam accounts can only lead to troubles (and nothing else), so just stay away from them as much as possible.
  12. I don't know when people will stop counting Neo's responses. Remember, it's an AI bot for searching freelancers and is in no way linked with the algorithm that evaluates us. Do you think Fiverr is so stupid that it will let Neo answer our queries so that we can understand 'real transparency' and then some sellers may manipulate the algorithm and system? I asked ChatGPT the same question, and it answered me 60 days. There are many more instances where Neo itself answered 60 days. And the reason is because AI bots themselves do not know the real answer, and this is because: These AI bots use machine learning techniques -- basically learning and understanding what's already on the internet, then training themselves, and then providing info to the users. Now, as we know how transparent Fiverr is, we do not have any information online regarding these metrics and how the algorithm works. So, the AI itself does not have any data (on the internet) that it can train itself on.
  13. As far as I remember, observed, and have been told by my fellow sellers and even my Success Manager, Fiverr used to send only one notification for the Private Rating Survey after 24 hours of order completion. However, just now, I received another notification after "4 days" of the order completion. I am impressed honestly as it will increase the chance of getting private ratings from good clients as well (as bad clients anyways leave private bad ratings without even any notification or reminder). So, this may really help us getting more number of private rating surveys (which can minimise the effect of 1 or 2 bad private ratings). But is anyone aware of timeframe someone can leave a Private Rating? My Success Manager told me (some time ago) that buyers can leave private ratings for upto two months -- but is it still the same, or something changed in the past months (if anyone observed or read somewhere)?
  14. To be honest, Fiverr is not completely at fault. Imagine you getting scammed by some individual on Instagram — you can't just approach Instagram (or Meta) headquarters to get compensation. Fiverr didn't scam you; it was just an individual who was not affiliated with Fiverr's official staff and management in any way. Fiverr's fault lies in their failure to fulfill their responsibilities and block these scam accounts, even after knowing that people are using their name and logo. But that won't change the fact that you were not scammed by them, and there's no way they will compensate such a huge amount.
  15. Having (a few) negative reviews is completely fine, and it's just a matter of time before they stop bothering you someday. The most you can do is write a response to it and that's it (you can leave the response for a lifetime- even after a year). I too have received a negative review full of petty lies (everyone does), and when you keep completing more orders, it's obvious to get some negative reviews. So, just ignore them (or learn from them if you were genuinely at fault) and move on! 🙂
  16. Hi Lena, I am facing one more issue with Custom Offers (thought to let you know just in case if someone else has not reported it yet). All of my custom offers are auto-expiring in 24 hours, even though I am not clicking on the Offer expiration checkmark.
  17. @kubracorl I am not sure what country you're in, what bank you're using, or what their regulations are. However, some banks (in some countries) always provide free insurance in case of burglary in lockers or cyber fraud online. Everyone has their own regulations, depending on the country and banks. Some provide insurance, while others do not. For example: I am insured up to $6,000 (5 lakh Indian currency) -- for free of cost, without even applying for insurance anywhere. Banks won't tell you these things upfront so they don't have to compensate and bear the loss, but you should definitely do some research online or maybe consult with a lawyer (consultancy fees for lawyers are very cheap nowadays).
  18. They can only release new features (using AI algorithm) overnight for sellers, but for buyers, nah! They're not going to do anything. Is it that hard to use AI and reverse search images that are using the Fiverr official logo? My newbie friend (a web developer) can do it in hardly an hour by writing a few lines of code. The same goes for display name. Is it too hard for staff members to search 'Fiverr' in their database and terminate all accounts? C'mon man, it's just a normal search in database and it will just give you all accounts (and don't tell me that a billion dollar company's database has no search filters, lmao!) When it comes to sellers, they don't even think once and terminate accounts (without even stating actual reasons) and no warning or whatsoever, whether it's a new seller, a Pro, or a TRS seller. But for buyers, they can't integrate a line of code (that too with AI algorithm) even when they're aware that this scam has been going on their platform for a long time now (it's been more than 2-3 months since I've been hearing about this scam on forums). To Fiverr: We understand that it's a seller's responsibility to avoid clicking on links. However, what are you taking 20% from us for? To maintain your platform, isn't it? And are you able to maintain it? Even knowing the exact problem and even the solution, are you taking any steps?
  19. Remove the word "Rank" from the title (and all descriptions). I know it's just the plugin name (Rank Math) but Fiverr's poor algorithm doesn't know that. It always takes it as if you're selling ranking services. You're not the first; this same thing has happened to countless sellers. WordPress SEO using those plugins is completely legal and allowed, but it's just the poor algorithm that's messing around. Either try using the word "rankmath" (all together) or remove it completely.
  20. Marketing at its finest, with Mike ready to steal the show!!! 😂🏆🏆
  21. I would use it to pay for a To-Do app/website that I can personalize to fit my needs. I am sooooo tired of using apps like Trello and Notion (these services may seem advanced to some users, but if you understand monopoly, you will realize how even basic features are missing from these platforms.) --- and basically, I want something that's made just for me to help me manage my schedule, tasks and projects better. The only thing missing from my bucket is a to-do app that can help me work more efficiently, stay organized, and be as productive as possible (all based on my need).
  22. You can find it in the 'Overview' tab in the Analytics page. It's right there at the top!
  23. Or simple solution: don't ask for reviews at all. This is what I write (feel free to add suggestions, if any): 1. In case of no response after delivery: Hi, I hope I am not bothering you in your busy schedule. As I haven't heard anything back from you so this is just a friendly reminder that I have already delivered the files in case you missed the notification and delivery. If you've already checked the files and everything is perfect, please feel free to close the order, or if you need any changes, let me know so I can help you with your revisions. I look forward to your response and feedback. 2. After completion of an order (message in inbox): Hi {username}, thank you for being a great client. I am really pleased that I could deliver your project up to your expectations. I would love to collaborate with you on more amazing projects. So, if you have any other projects in the future and wish to work with me, you can press the favorite icon on my gig. It will help you find me quickly and easily.
  24. One way to mitigate the risk of getting flagged is to avoid directly opening Fiverr on the device when connected to public Wifi or even on cell networks in a different location. Instead, connect the device using Teamviewer/Anydesk to a home main desktop that is kept running 24x7, and perform all tasks through this connection. In Fiverr's eyes, you're sitting at home doing all the work, lmao! This method will surely help in reducing the risk of being flagged (due to false positives), as many accounts are flagged due to "false positives" rather than actual violations of terms. It is often the AI algorithm causing issues in these cases.
  25. Haha, actually whenever my clients get a new project for me, they put the information in that group. I call it "Pizza Party" because with the income from those new projects, I can afford a pizza party, lmao! Just a little fun with clients so we don't get bored while working. (That was my personal notification... and not the notification of the Fiverr officials present in the meeting)
