  1. I mean, we, as sellers, came here to work in a professional workplace and serve clients — not to play puzzle games with Fiverr officials. If they have something to say, they should say it directly and write it in the terms and official articles. They're just repeatedly saying that we're considering a "wide time frame"...how much wider? 2 years? 5 years? 70 years? At least, we were previously aware that our levels were considering 60 days, but now.....literally no info. Likewise, no info on other factors as well. What about "location inconsistency"......If I plan a trip every 15 days, will I get a warning? Any confirmation? No.....literally no! Fiverr is just keeping everyone in the dark.
  2. Not sure if everyone is getting this, but I even got a normal inbox message from the team. Just thought to share as it was surprising to see someone from the team messaged a webinar link for the first time in history.
  3. I had to rewatch the webinar again to see if there was anything private, lmao! But there's nothing there other than some mouse clicks and doggy noises in the background (just for a few seconds). I have uploaded the webinar recording here. Just a tip: If you want to save your precious time, just watch the clip of Ran speaking -- the other people are just reading Lorem Ipsum from their Powerpoint slides xD https://drive.google.com/file/d/1dN-SMZE1cKcQAvn_sjUQNy4KVwNpJO0z/view?usp=sharing
  4. I have it recorded, but unfortunately, I just noticed that my OBS studio was also recording my microphone. My bad that I forgot to turn it off (and thanks to Fiverr for making me mentally ill), and it has some conversation between me and my wife, so I won't be able to upload it. But, officials said that they have also recorded it and will make it live for all who missed the webinar. If I am not wrong, the staff member Noah posts all the recording clips and updates in the community by creating a thread on the forum. Once again, Transparent Fiverr is so busy releasing updates (that no one asked for) and that they don't have time to create a webpage where we can find all the previous clips at one place.
  5. I can confirm this. From the looks on their faces at the webinar and the way the officials were so proud of their new Level system, I don't think they have any plans to listen to the community and rework things (at least a few things).
  6. I would say, "Absolutely." Fiverr needs to learn that always saying "we can not disclose things" is not going to work and help sellers (or the community in general). The community needs answers to the mess they have created.
  7. Yes, I joined and, to be honest, found nothing useful or informative that we do not already know. I asked the following questions: 1. Why does customer support cancel orders that do not match the buyer's personal taste, even though it is not what is stated in the terms of service (I even referred to the @levinewman case)? The response was that we never cancel such orders and probably the reason of cancellation was something else. However, we know the harsh reality. 2. Asked about 'Location Inconsistency' warnings, but I was completely ignored and they didn't even say a word in response. 3. Asked about how revisions and resolutions affect statistics, but they did not provide a direct answer, so we all know the answer. 🙂🙂 In short, Transparent Fiver provided no productive information (that we didn't already know).
  8. One of my gigs has a score of 10, and another inactive gig (that I have just deactivated) has a score of 8. However, my overall success score is 10, so it's clear that it's not just a simple math average. It's all about weightage.
  9. As usual, “Transparent Fiverr” has not shared any information with us on this. We are just “observing” based on our individual experiences, “sharing” them with each other and then “concluding” things based on our perceptions.
  10. @visualstudios is absolutely right! Fiverr does not follow “simple math” to calculate your success score. Gigs with high sales will have more weightage than dead gigs with less or zero sales. For example: If you have 10 Gigs: One Gig is very active with 500+ orders and has a Success Score of 10, and the other 9 Gigs are completely inactive and have a Success Score of 2 (on all 9 Gigs individually) --- In that case, your success score will still be ~10 because Fiverr doesn't give as much importance to dead gigs (as compared to active gigs). P.S.: And it's already been confirmed by Fiverr staff (I think Kesha) in another thread that active gigs with more sales have more importance/weightage than inactive gigs.
  11. Felt a bit relieved after seeing this --- let's see how the coming days go with all these new updates!
  12. Suggestion for the future: Avoid requesting a deadline extension when the order is in the revision phase. By doing so, you are only bounding yourself with a new countdown. Orders in revision stage do not affect your stats, so there is no need to extend the delivery time.
  13. You have accidentally turned on the "Screen Reader" accessibility feature on Fiverr. 1. Either use shortcut i.e., Ctrl + . (dot/full-stop) 2. Or scroll down to the bottom (from Dashboard page) and you will find the Accessibility option on the footer and from there you can toggle it on/off.
  14. Lmao, so there's no point in mentioning the W-9 form for you as well...and taxes in US countries (if this thread is "just" about the DAC7). The purpose of the forum is to exchange knowledge and that's what I did.
  15. Just sharing knowledge:- We have this here in India (and many other Asian countries too). Up to $6000, you won't have to pay any taxes, and up to $9000 is also tax free (but with a process--- You have to pay tax once but you can take a rebate, and the tax amount will be refunded). So, we have to pay tax only when the annual income exceeds $9000 and even then the tax percentage is divided into different slabs (with a maximum tax percentage of 30%).
  16. If one knows how to ask questions and communicate, Neo actually works better (at least for the category I am selling). Maybe, it doesn't understand all the categories and interactions of nightmare buyers who can't even write properly, but what I have seen so far is that it's quite good (except for being very slow and it takes about 30 seconds to gather thoughts)----- Just my personal experience and what I have seen in my case.
  17. In the first place, why are you sending updates at the last moment? Sending the first update on Day 2 (with a 3 day delivery time) doesn't make any sense. Things should be like this: Either keep the delivery time at 6-7 days, so that you have enough time and grace period if you encounter any delay in communication. Or start delivering draft updates from day one (if you have such a short deadline of 3 days). Or just finish the whole project and deliver the order files directly after the completion (definitely not recommended but at least your order won't be marked late, so consider this as a last resort).
  18. And this is why the algorithm sucks. Being unavailable for a longer time, keeping the conversion rate at 0% and not selling anything is not considered bad (at least in my case) and just one bad private rating can result in you getting the badge taken away (and we're not even sure if that's the case here). I mean, other factors don't matter at all? It's fine to consider private ratings, but this much (over other factors)? How about if that rating was given when the buyer was drunk or sleepy and those were just random stars? How fair is it to take away a badge just on the basis of one single private rating--- which could be dishonest or random, right?
  19. For nearly two months, I held the 'Fiverr Choice' badge on my gig. Throughout that time: 1. I was away on a two-week long vacation, fully unavailable due to my wedding:- Fiverr didn't have any issue. 2. My conversion rate was about 2% due to being very choosy:- Fiverr didn't have any issue. 3. For a long time, my conversion rate was 0% (straight line visible in the graph):- Fiverr didn't have any issue. 4. Received a 4.3 star and a 4 star rating (due to the recent crappy Fiverr update):- Fiverr didn't have any issue. But but but, in the past 10 days, as I began receiving orders and became serious towards the account and lifted my conversion rate from 2% to 9%, Fiverr surprisingly removed my 'Fiverr Choice' badge day before yesterday. Quite amusing, to be honest!
  20. So, from your perspective, those offering lower prices (due to limited skills, choice, or other reasons) do not deserve to sell here? ----And if they sell, they deserve to get abused by buyers? I believed that Fiverr welcomes everyone, which is why they allow gigs starting at $5. Is this not the case? If someone is selling at a low price, should FIverr just ditch them and leave them hanging? Isn't it the responsibility of the platform to create an ecosystem where no one is abused, or are you just going to say 'hey raise your prices'? lmao! Here's why Fiver is completely wrong (admit it or not): 1. When a seller contacts Customer Support for help, they are asked to resolve issues directly with the buyer. CS always avoids involving themselves (which is honestly a good thing).---- But when buyers contact CS, the orders are canceled without hearing the seller's side (and even without warning or informing them in advance). So, sellers are always "forced" to make revisions otherwise the buyer may cancel the order (directly without even communicating with the seller). 2. The button says "Request Revision", but do you even understand the fine line between "request" and "imposing"? Currently, buyers are allowed to "impose" revisions on sellers rather than "requesting" them. When buyers ask for extra revisions, there should at least be a warning if they've exceeded the limit, and like order cancellations and quote extension requests---- revision request should require mutual acceptance. The button says "request," but it doesn't seem like a request based on how it works. - Or if Fiverr feels that mutual acceptance will create problems (e.g. sellers always canceling requests), then at least they can show a popup message informing buyers that the limit of free revisions has exceeded. Is it too hard for developers to do this?
  21. We get your point Mike and you explained it very well. But there's one point to note that you are selling in a sub-category where most people come from professional backgrounds and not like us where a 12 year old kid approaches us for a logo design for his YouTube channel. Also, your price point falls on the upper segment and this is also one of the reasons why your buyers are mostly professionals who order from you. But this is not the case with everyone and all these things are good in chat, but when it comes to practical situation, buyers can go ahead and cancel the order with the help of CS (without even informing the seller in advance). Sellers directly receive a notification that the order has been canceled by customer support. It is always easier to explain things to professional buyers than to the arrogant and spoiled 12 year old who eventually becomes your buyer. I always try to filter buyers based on their communication skills and attitude in inbox but still, some buyers are managed to place orders on my gig.
  22. You received three 1-star reviews in a very short period of time (before 4 months), so it's clear what's stopping your gigs from appearing in search.
  23. You joined Fiverr in December 2021 and you still haven't been able to secure a single deal in two years. Fiverr will only promote sellers who are capable of generating revenue for Fiverr and not just filling up space in the search feed, with 0% conversion rate. Not to mention, the WordPress website building sub-category is completely over-saturated. There are over 1,00,000 sellers selling the same services as you, so you are late to the party. It is going to be very very very very very difficult for you to make space, and sitting idle waiting for impressions is not going to work. Try to get some clients from social media or elsewhere (you'll have to figure it out), as this can help Fiverr promote you a little bit (if you're able to provide good experience to your clients).
  24. The first thing you should do is check the specific terms and conditions of your visa and consult with the relevant authorities to ensure compliance with the regulations. In most countries (including Egypt), you are not allowed to work as a professional (be it a job or freelancing) if you are on a student visa. They only allow restricted jobs (e.g. you can only work inside your university campus, or only specific jobs outside campus). If you are caught, your visa may be terminated and you will be forcibly deported back to your country. If you have permission from the relevant authorities, you should write a ticket to Fiverr Customer Support and send them all the relevant documents/letters and seek their permission before opening the account. This is the best way to avoid any complications (on your Visa and FIverr account).
