Do you seriously intend to create a new topic whenever you complete an order? Imagine if everyone did that, including people with tens of thousands of orders...

Or "My client's budget was tight". Can't buy food with that, either, and I'd like not to starve to death.

It happens. It's best to check for messages directly on the main site at least once a day, and not rely on email notifications.

Have you considered not using Fiverr's logo as your profile picture? And using your own photo instead? It could be the reason why you're flagged. I mean, using Fiverr's logo as your profile picture when you're not Fiverr staff is definitely a severe violation of Fiverr policies. And dishonest.

Does Fiverr keeps a markup of 40% on every gig I post?
catwriter replied to deepikalodaya's topic in New Member Introductions
I see $80, $250 and $550 (and unlimited revisions, which can be a terrible idea on Fiverr). -
Page 5: "...meaning it makes money through fees and commissions when people pay though Fiverr." (Should be "through") When it comes to cancellations, your guide mentions that buyers can cancel if they're very unhappy with the quality. But don't the rules say that they can't cancel based on the quality of delivery? Page 12: "There are also intermittent issues on Fiverr's iOS and Android apps that can to glitches..." (Did you mean "that can lead to"?) I haven't noticed any other issues. Nicely done!

I think that cat is sleeping behind the monitor.

A common one, even if your prices aren't high. They also promise recommending you to their cheapskate friends. How terrible of me to decline those offers...

What I'm also tired of is seeing all those posts about accounts getting flagged that were written by ChatGPT. They all look almost the same. I can't tell the difference between one person posting it and another, and it actually looks like one person with 50,000+ accounts that all got flagged (for an excellent reason). The same goes for any post asking for help and using ChatGPT.

Spam, spam, spam everywhere! Someone, please take action.

I did that, too, and some of them would pick blue, and then, when I did blue, they'd remember that blue wouldn't work in their specific case because of so-and-so, and demand new work to be done in green. That was back in the day when I still offered $5 gigs, and charging those buyers for revisions never worked, they'd opt for a cancellation.

Finding a REAL EXPERT among new sellers
catwriter replied to gina_riley2's topic in Tips from Buyers
Canceling orders at the first sign that the buyer isn't happy. -
It looks like Google plans to start charging if you want your search to give half-decent results.

Yes, I have. It mostly boils down to them expecting me to know what they want when they don't know it themselves. Or they just didn't feel like answering so many questions, they expected me to magically know the answers (even though the questions were about their preferences). Yes, I think this problem may be more common with low-cost orders.

Some buyers might fry you in a private review because you were asking too many questions. You're the expert, you're supposed to know, that sort of thing.

They won't, until they have to. Back in the day, when Fiverr was Wild Wild West, it was perfectly fine to sell likes, followers, subscribers, paid reviews, and so on. What put a stop to it wasn't that Fiverr thought it was unethical, or that scamming buyers was wrong; it was the possibility of getting in trouble with big companies (social media, Amazon) that forbid the practice. Selling AI generated content without disclosing it might harm a number of businesses, but since they're not the size of YouTube or Facebook or Amazon, Fiverr isn't under threat, so they will allow it for as long as they can.
-
It's not necessarily about forgetting, it could be about sellers being afraid to annoy buyers by asking too many questions.

A lot of people, and they all post the same AI-generated post as you did, making it impossible to tell the difference between one person and another. Just search the forum for all the posts that are identical to yours. (They all have post titles very similar to yours, too, so it shouldn't be difficult to find them. Just read the forum.)

There are 21,000+ gigs offering proofreading and editing, why does he insist on you doing it? A number of sellers turned him down, so what? There are still tens of thousands offering the service he's looking for.

Not necessarily. It happens a lot these days, with the new review system.

Fiverr announced buyback of $100M of its own shares
catwriter replied to smashradio's topic in Lounge
Yes, we were. Alley cats still clean themselves as much as they can, so there isn't much of a smell, at least not usually. And I'd say that they're far more sincere than Fiverr (plus they don't bother with being subtle, you know exactly where you stand with them), not to mention far more ethical. That might depend on whether you have tuna.
