  1. No, it's not terrible... Doesn't exactly help blurb writers on Fiverr, though. Hey, just ask AI to write it for you, don't bother paying someone to do it...
  2. Recently, I ran into some Fiverr guide (official stuff, not some guru) on book blurbs. Among other things, it advised buyers to try writing their book blurb with AI.
  3. You can, just do what the OP did (make sure that the buyer's name or other confidential information isn't visible).
  4. Actually, many sellers do mention using extensions, and they do use them. And then come to cry on the forum and whine that they got in trouble for no reason. Also, way too many sellers can't be bothered to read the ToS. Or they pretend that it doesn't apply to them because "their senior person told them to do so-and-so".
  5. That's against the rules. I hope you didn't do it. You are correct, you could get banned for that. There's no rule against it, however, one seller was recently advised by their Success Manager to communicate in English with his clients (that seller is German, his clients are mostly German, but still, English is recommended).
  6. Why would you? People interested in buying your gig are not here on the forum; it's mostly other sellers here.
  7. I do that, too, and yet they keep trying to convince me that they didn't make a mistake...
  8. No, clients don't magically show up just because you sign up for Seller Plus.
  9. You might want to start using "Request to Order" feature. That way buyers won't be able to place an order against your will.
  10. Try generating leads for yourself. If you're good at it, you could get orders that way.
  11. Oh, only what they've been doing since the start. Like cancelling orders that got a low rating, in order to get rid of that rating (until Fiverr put a stop to it by making reviews stay even if the order was cancelled). Or cancelling order if they thought the buyer didn't like the delivery, to avoid a negative rating (so now we have reviews even on cancelled orders). Or begging their buyers or manipulating them into giving them 5 star reviews, stating that their children would go hungry if they got a lower rating, and what not. Or not delivering the orders as fast as they could and waiting for the orders in queue to pile up so it would look like they were in high demand. Or... Way too many sellers have been manipulating the system from the start (and teaching their friends to do the same), and then we all got punished for that, time after time.
  12. No, but you can do it through mobile browser instead of the app. Of course, first make sure that your mobile browser has camera access.
  13. Next to it, on the right, should be 3 dots. Clicking on those allows reporting or marking as spam.
  14. Oh, sorry about that, I forgot that it's in the Seller Plus forum, so only Seller Plus members can see it. Basically, Fiverr higher-ups promised to do something, but then they didn't. The trouble is, our experience with Fiverr shows that they're going to do what they want to do. Throughout the years, there has been a lot of noise after this change or that was implemented, some people threatened to leave (and a few of them did leave), and Fiverr kept doing what they wanted to do. No matter what any of us say or do, the new system is here to stay.
  15. This thread has been going on for over 40 pages now. There were other threads where people expressed their grievances, too. Was anything accomplished? A couple of small changes that don't really make a difference. Oh, and we were told that the cancellation issue was sold, but it looks like it wasn't. There were some promises made, too, and those were broken. (I'm referring to the thread bellow (and be warned, while not 40+ pages, it's not exactly short, either) In other words, there isn't really much left to say, so having a bit of fun (while discussing possible other options) is to be expected.
  16. And there's a little check mark showing that the person has verified their identity. On Fiverr, when the inbox message is coming from real Fiverr staff, there's a little mark next to their username, showing that they are who they say they are. Here's an example (the little green mark). Did the user who scammed you have that little green mark?
  17. Not really. Feedback to the new levelling system (and the current state of Fiverr in general) is that people are looking into other sources of income.
  18. I'm not so sure about this. On Facebook, many Page owners get a message from someone pretending to be Facebook staff, claiming that their Page is in danger, they should click a certain link, and so on, and so forth... Another phishing scam. I have no doubt that there are people who fall for it and lose money (or even have their identity stolen), and I'm pretty certain that Facebook doesn't compensate them.
  19. You have sent the wrong dates (August 11, 2024, August 15, 2024). You have joined Fiverr in March 2024, and it's still March 2024.
