  1. Something to keep in mind: over the years, I've seen a lot of people threaten to sue Fiverr, for one reason or another. I have never seen anything come out of it.
  2. I second this, and it's what Fiver's customer support (the real one) suggested, as well. A bank might be able to reverse those payments.
  3. @milos_siena, @ana_tomy, @Kesha, it looks like @Lena isn't available, can someone help with this matter, please? And this one, too, if possible? I understand that CS is super-busy these days, but people having their money stolen by fake Fiverr support can't be good for Fiverr. https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/326178-money-stolen/
  4. That's what you asked. Because you clicked on something you shouldn't have? None of the rest of us have it showing anywhere. And @uk1000 told you what to do: check your extensions on Chrome.
  5. @uk1000 told you that Fiverr didn't approve this extension, and that it's risky, and yet you are asking if you should register?
  6. You can respond with something like "Thank you for the feedback." No.
  7. Yes, they're scammers. Best case scenario, you end up working for free. Worse case scenario, they convince you to pay them a fee (and of course you never get paid for the work you did for them). Worst case scenario, identity theft. You might want to read Fiverr's terms of service and community guidelines, plus the help section, to get a better idea about how Fiverr works. For example, contact outside of Fiverr is strictly forbidden (and accepting to contact someone outside of Fiverr would be a violation of Fiverr's terms of service that can get you permanently banned); all the conversations, materials exchange, and payment, have to go through Fiverr.
  8. Considering how many people have asked the exact same questions as the OP, and that they all got just some vague responses (or no response at all), it's possible that even Fiverr staff doesn't know the answers.
  9. No idea, I'm afraid. It's possible that you won't be able to get your money back.
  10. No, Fiverr never does it.
  11. For example, one person having multiple accounts (which is a violation of Fiverr's terms of service), and then one or more of those other accounts get disabled. Or it could even be someone who opened an account years ago, forgot all about it and never used it, then opened another account and started selling. Or, two or more Fiverr accounts connected to the same withdrawal provider (or the same email address, ID, phone number...). Or, as @williambryan392 suggested, review manipulation. Of course, everything I've mentioned is just my guess, based on what's forbidden by Fiverr's terms of service and community guidelines.
  12. It's a scam. That's not real Fiverr support, nor would they ever do something like that. @Lena, can you advise the OP on what to do next, please?
  13. No. All the work has to be delivered, otherwise it's called an incomplete delivery, and that's a violation of Fiverr's Terms of Service. You should wait for the final product. As @mariashtelle1 said, don't let the order complete. Request a revision and demand all the files you have paid for; if you mark it as complete now, there's zero guarantee that you will get all of your files. I'm guessing that the seller might be just scared that, once he sends you all the files, you will demand a cancellation and a refund, and run away with all of his work. There are scammers who do that. But what he's doing is still not allowed.
  14. Sometimes it feels as if everything is just a bug and they're working on it...
  15. Even a 4.99 rating is highly commendable in most instances? But it's not always highly commendable, even though Neo can't find 5 star sellers?
  16. You should have learned to play the guitar? 😸
  17. Only if you want all the associated Fiverr accounts to get banned.
  18. It's a scam. The intention is to steal your credit card details, so you shouldn't post that link, or someone might be foolish enough to click on it. There's really no need to share malicious links on the forum. I'd expect a web developer to know better.
  19. I used to tell them that it was a violation of Fiverr's Terms of Service, but they'd just keep asking for work. These days, I reply with something like "I'm sorry, but I'm not looking to hire", and then report and block them.
  20. If you're looking for an official answer, it's best to ask Customer Support (and if they tell you that it's not against the rules, make a screenshot of their response, in case you get in trouble). I mean, I can tell you that I've logged in from another country (I didn't work while in another country, though, I just replied to messages) and never had any problems with it, other sellers could tell you the same (or not), and none of it would be the official response from a Fiverr representative.
  21. It's just on the app. The app isn't updated yet, you'll need to wait until March 14th for that. Plus, if I understood it correctly, there are no more monthly evaluations.
  22. I'm only active when I actually need to do something. Respond to messages, edit gigs, work on orders, deliver orders...
  23. That's because you're on Pro Fiverr, which is meant for buyers to search for Pro freelancers. Instead of pro.fiverr.com go to fiverr.com.
  24. After that FAQ part, I'd say that 'conversational' is generous.
  25. It can solve it if they didn't mean to give 4 stars. If they give 5 stars, categories will be for what went well. Still, yes, this is either a huge oversight... Or intentional. And this is detrimental not only for sellers, but to the buying experience, as well. Buyers have every right to be able to make an informed decision about what they're clicking/tapping on.
