It's not unusual, as far as I can tell. Sometimes they have more than one business and want to keep it all separate (for accounting, I guess, among other reasons), sometimes they have a personal buying account and another one for their company... Oh, and I also remember someone who had, I think, 3 accounts (all for buying, never even tried to sell anything). It was due to Fiverr glitching, they couldn't log into one account to buy what they needed so they opened another one, on another occasion they opened yet another one... At least that's what they told me.

Maybe they're asking about their other account? Or maybe some Fiverr guru told them to ask random questions on the forum in order to get orders...

That, plus there are sellers on the forum who seem very happy with the amount of work they're getting. That's my impression, too.

Nothing to understand, other than that it's a phishing scam. It's not Fiverr sending you the message, it's scammers who want to steal money from your bank account. Report the message and block the user. @Lena, is there any word from the higher-ups about this scam? As in, when will Fiverr get rid of them (for example, by not allowing anyone to put "Fiverr Support" as their name (even better, by permanently banning anyone and everyone who attempts to do such a thing))? 🙂

Based on your profile, it looks like you haven't had any sales yet. And $5 for 5,000 words is an invitation for scammers.

It's a known scam, they steal your money from the bank. Report the message and block the user.

It took them 2 months to change the analytics page, so... Maybe they'll change this one on May 1st, maybe 2 months later.

Repeatedly tagging someone is still harassment, but hey, good luck with getting a clear response from CS. They're not exactly famous for giving it...

Yeah, I could have had another month of $29 since my payment is due on the 25th, but I decided to spend that money on something else. Like food.

Hey @gbrl_c, just a quick one for some context here: back in January, Chris posted a suggestion in the Seller Plus forum, got into an argument with some forum users whose replies he didn't like, started insulting them, and the topic was locked by a m0d. He's still holding a grudge against those users, it seems.

Repeatedly tagging people after they told you they couldn't help you is harassment.

Some Fiverr sellers are actually middlemen, and as long as they stick to the rules, pay your rates, and don't pester you with endless revisions because their client can't make up their mind, it should be okay. As for the rules: they are only allowed to outsource a part of their work (for example, they make videos, and they are allowed to outsource voice over or scriptwriting). It's strictly forbidden to pass someone else's work as their own. In other words, if someone hired them to design their website, they shouldn't hire you to do the whole work.

Cancelled the subscription last night. Ends on the 25th (tomorrow).

Stay on the forum a little longer, and you'll get a much worse impression. The forum is a mess.

My drink of choice would be water. Sometimes, herbal tea. I used to drink coffee (and black tea, and green tea, and matcha (that one is awesome)), but due to glaucoma, I'm no longer allowed anything with caffeine in it.
