  1. Fiverr doesn't allow us to manipulate buyers into giving us 5-star reviews, or even ask them what rating they're going to give us, but there is a loophole... ---- Hi {username} Take a look at this. Are you happy with my work? Do you need a revision? Please get back to me in 24 hours or less. Thank you, Your Name --- This is my message when I'm giving a pre-delivery (delivering without the Deliver Now button) or when an order is due in 24 hours. Ideally, a pre-delivery is better because it gives you a chance to make changes. Even if buyers are angry, they can't review what hasn't been delivered. What are you doing to avoid bad reviews?
  2. Damn, we agree on something. Miracle of miracles. lol I was making a lot more money thanks to great volume when buyers were spending less. My biggest queue was 15 buyers. I had to check my e-mail and Fiverr app all the time, used to get upset with people who would message me before ordering, because I had no time to deal with that. Now, I get excited when someone messages me, I'm super polite and professional because buyers are rare, and I don't want to lose their business. I distilled the number of sellers and other important statistics. I appreciate that you took the time to gather that information.
  3. I’ve gotten orders for the same gig, some promoted, some not. I always keep my promotions on. In fact, this has encouraged me to raise my prices for radio. I need to make more money to justify the cost.
  4. So buyers are spending more money and sellers are making less money, sounds just like Uber. lol I'm grateful that promoted gigs got me a $50 radio commercial order (two 15" spots) after I spent $3.15 (4 clicks). My daily budget is $25, and so far, I have only spent $6.72 since 7/1 to 7/10. My CPC cap is on auto, so I should be beating other bids. The information you shared is fascinating. I used to think there were millions of sellers, now I see there's only 830,000. It's also fascinating you didn't get in trouble for sharing an outside link. My posts used to get banned for that, whenever I had a quote, I would have to write "source: Google" or "source: The Wall Street Journal" because the powers that be didn't like outside links. I'm glad that has changed. Interesting, to me the world is getting increasingly altruistic. All that nonsense about pay it forward, conscious capitalism, people over profits, eat the rich, Bill Gate's pledge for billionaires. I see that a lot as well, but to me it's desperation and frustration, not narcissism, although I admit a narcissist will become frustrated when reality pops his fantasy bubble. Most narcissists avoid reality, they avoid getting their fragile egos hurt, like people who turn off comments on TikTok. Forum participation requires a lot of courage, it's not a safe space.
  5. The first thing I do is click "refresh" on my Promoted Gigs page to see if I'm getting any action. Impressions, clicks, and spend. I can't say I log in to Fiverr because I never log out. Do you log out every day? I use my home computer and smartphone to access Fiverr, hope my security isn't compromised.
  6. Don’t give up, keep experimenting, try new things, simplify if you can. For example, I write Facebook ads, but I don’t manage the accounts. Others manage and write the ads. It’s up to you what you do.
  7. Your suspended gigs should probably be in the Denied folder. Unless Fiverr just deletes them. In the past, an illegal gig, such as a review gig, would simply disappear. You'd get an e-mail, and your gig would be gone. I tried to do a screenshot, but it displayed personal information, that's why I deleted it.
  8. Can you be more specific? Are you jealous because the people you helped are doing better than you? Maybe their English is better? Better portfolio samples? Better customer service? Better gig titles? Better luck? Could be anything and everything. I've been on Fiverr since 2013. I'm still figuring things out. Years ago, I had a success manager, and he gave me no useful advice. Not even what keywords to use. Here you have to be your own success manager. Good luck.
  9. I will be your manager of social media marketing manager Why are you repeating the word manager? Try this: I will manage your social media marketing I will be your social media marketing manager I will find you the targeted b2b leads and need to grow your business I will find targeted B2B leads I will find targeted B2B leads to grow your business Your YouTube gig is fine, but I would replace "you're youtube" with "a youtube."
  10. My favorite TV shows are... Narcos and Narcos Mexico Ozark The Queen of the South La Reina del Sur El Patron del Mal Million Dollar Listing South Park Drawn Together Big Mouth Cobra Kai
  11. Some gigs create too many problems. Refunds, bad reviews, clients who are never happy no matter how many revisions you give them. Deleting them is the best thing you can do. Right now my analytics are perfect, rating 5, 100% on everything, and I want to keep it that way.
  12. You didn't need a zoom meeting to tell us what you think about this issue. When we write, we're forced to think, we can edit what we wrote before clicking "submit reply." We are careful because if we write something offensive, it can be used against us. Can you record a zoom meeting? Will customer service bother to look at the video? I think discriminating on the basis of nationality is a mistake. Fiverr is a global platform, the nationality of buyers and sellers is usually irrelevant, unless you need someone that understands a particular culture or nation.
  13. Drive for Uber, make money with Google Adsense (don't click on your own ads!), get a real job, etc. Don't ever let Fiverr become your only source of income. Look at what happens to influencers when they get kicked out or demonetized. The smart ones always have other platforms, or they're selling stuff in the platforms that are no longer paying them for their views.
  14. Sometimes I like to refer buyers to other sellers. When I wrote brand names, I referred anything to do with logistics or high tech to others. Sometimes buyers are dumb, they don't read the gig, they assume the seller does anything. Today I sent a custom offer for $30, the buyer telling me my gig says it's $20. So I sent him my gig link. The things I do to make $24 instead of $16. lol
  15. Because those are the most pressing concerns. It's the same in rideshare (Uber) forums. 99% of posts are complaints about earnings, clients, the app, etc. Posting something positive is harder, some don't like to brag, others do. I posted positive things about Fiverr's Promoted Gigs feature, some negative things as well.
  16. I think this is a great option for sellers getting multiple orders from the same buyer. Like a blogger who needs new content every month.
  17. I tried doing that but Facebook rejected my ads. You could create a landing page with your Fiverr gigs, maybe join the Fiverr Affiliate Program and that way you'd be earning with every order, and not just what every order pays.
  18. Keep clicking deliver now, contact CS If you have to. If the buyer doesn’t give up, you might have to refund. The important thing is to stop making revisions. Also, learn to recognize problem gig. Now that I don’t do brand names, my stats have improved in every area. Some gigs aren’t worth the trouble.
  19. Don't be afraid to block buyers if they won't take "no" for an answer.
  20. Because they have to pay the bills. 20% is nothing. Uber takes 50% unless there's a surge! Passengers pay $10, the driver gets $5, so if you think 20% is too much, you're mistaken. Be happy Fiverr has kept it at 20%. Right now I'm happy paying Fiverr to promote my gigs. This month I made $230, and spent $19.92 on promoted gigs. That's money well spent. In the future, don't make more revisions than what was agreed upon. Either close the order, or send them a custom offer for more revisions.
  21. Did you ever have to issue a refund? It sounds like a great deal while it lasted. I’d also be worried about chargebacks, people who use PayPal to avoid paying. The good news is Fiverr bans those people from the platform, I think.
  22. Can you buy a generator? I read a story of a successful seller in Nigeria, from a very poor village, that had a generator so he could be online whenever there was a blackout.
  23. In Hebrew and Arabic, people write from right to left. So what you're doing isn't that crazy. You're doing what you feel comfortable doing, and there's nothing wrong with it. I am right-handed, but have read on Wikipedia about the discrimination left-handed people experience. Their struggles with common objects such as scissors, automobiles, etc. There are very few products designed for southpaws, some guns ironically, have ambidextrous safeties and other features. Don't let others pressure you into doing things the "right" way.
  24. I think he was grooming you, first he buys a lot of stuff, to earn your confidence, then he starts getting weird. You can block him, report him, or ignore his nasty acts and keep taking the money. That's your decision. I'm a guy, so if another guy sends me a D pick, I'll probably laugh, but I know for women it's different. Sorry this happened to you.
  25. Seems unfair to me. We're not all social media influencers, my social media followers don't care about my gigs. On Facebook I like to talk about politics, with strangers. It would be weird to start sharing my Fiverr links.
