  1. Google searches are the worst. Imagine you find a great brand name and then discover someone else is using it. The trademark might be available, the person using it might be a fan page or someone who’s not a direct competitor. That’s why I hate google and charge extra for google searches. It makes my work harder. Personally, I’m a bigger believer in domains and trademarks. I don’t do social searches because you can always add a letter or a word to find your Facebook company name, etc. They also take a lot of time. Higher prices are a double edge sword, sometimes you find clients that appreciate the work more because they paid more, other times you have clients that expect a lot more. My goal is making money, that can only happen if I get orders. That’s why most of my gigs start at $10. I enjoy doing multiples of $10, so it’s $10, $20, $30, then nickel and dime them a bit more with gig extras and charge quite a bit for one day delivery. That’s how you turn a $30 into a $70. You have a gig where you write 10 articles for $50. You wouldn’t be angry if your client hates all of them and demands a revision without telling you why? I’d be furious if I was in your shoes. Of course, I wouldn’t insult the client or do anything that can result in an account warning, but I can’t be detached about that. To me there’s nothing more horrible than working for free. I once volunteered at a soup kitchen and while I felt good for helping others, I never did it again. Feeling good wasn’t enough payment, I need money. I’d rather help others by giving them money, I can make more money in the future but the time spent is gone forever.
  2. Not bad, although I don’t like to mention time. I like everything else you wrote, I could take it and edit it to my needs.
  3. I’ll give you an example of how I talk: Buyer writes: “Please send me new ones, this is to easy. Or give my mny back. I’m not statisfied at all.” This is what I wrote in my cancellation message: “It wasn’t easy, I spent a lot of time doing trademark searches, Google searches, etc. I don’t think you appreciate my efforts, so revising will be a waste of time . Next time don’t make a $70 order. It’s a huge hassle. Go order from somebody that offers satisfaction guaranteed, I don’t.” Here’s another example from a buyer that argued a lot after I delivered. “The seller has no intention of revising the order.” (his cancellation reason) My response: “Very well, you go ahead and write your own Facebook ad. Next time, don’t hire people if you’re not going to compensate them for their work. I am not a charity, and I don’t like working for nothing.” I guess I’m an angry seller when things go south.
  4. I had a similar experience, I was getting angry with a client, getting personal, but then I stopped and simply asked him for examples of what he wanted. Then I made a revision and got 5 stars.
  5. Oh, I don’t use that line. I was just giving someone else advice. This is what I use: Hi whoever, Thanks for your order! Your delivery is enclosed. Please remember this is a subjective gig, influenced by personal feelings, tastes, or opinions. Thanks again and have a great day! 🙂 fastcopywriter P.S. Tips are appreciated. P.S.2 Fiverr will mark this order as complete in 3 days. I don’t mention revisions because the client can see the modification button. However, sometimes I will get a bad review from a client that didn’t request a revision.
  6. You can word this a lot more carefully, so it does not seem to suggest that someone take advantage of your fear of a bad review to get a lot of free work out of you. If you require a revision to your delivery, please use the modification button to request a revision. Your satisfaction is my number one goal and I will be happy to make adjustments to your order if anything is not to your liking. You’re so good at corporate communication. I’m impressed.
  7. This is the last thing I would put in a delivery message. It is almost requesting that they ask for a revision and saying you will do anything to not get a bad review— a green light to get never ending revision demands. Even if they otherwise would have left a good review if they see this message some will take advantage of you to get more work at no charge. I agree, but if the seller is adverse to negative reviews, what else can he/she do? Besides, I didn’t say the seller should offer unlimited revisions. One should be enough. More revisions should require more orders. Some of my good clients have offered to buy my gig again to get additional revisions. Sometimes I agree, other times I might confess that I can’t help them anymore with that project.
  8. I think you need to change your delivery message. If you hate bad reviews and don’t mind making revisions try something like this: Hi customername, Thanks for your order! Your delivery is enclosed. If you’re not happy with my work, use the modification button to request a revision. Bad reviews hurt my business, and I’m eager to ensure your satisfaction. Have a nice day yourname P.S. Tips are appreciated. P.S.2 Fiverr will mark this order as complete in 3 days. This isn’t what I do because I don’t have time for revisions, and I hate putting ideas in my buyers’ heads. Also, this guarantee some fink won’t give you a bad review, but at least you’ll decrease the possibility.
  9. Awesome, you should consider individual gigs for those. Try searching “catalan” or “galician” and see what comes up. If nothing comes up, you’ll have a virtual monopoly. Of course, if nobody’s searching for that, you’ll have gigs that get no orders. Either way, it’s better to delete a bad gig than not to create one. Good luck!
  10. I agree. It’s easier and better to do what you do best. Can you do other accents within Spain?
  11. Can you do other Spanish accents? Hispanic advertising agencies need people who do neutral Spanish. Like when you watch The Simpsons in Spanish.
  12. Not everyone wants to be a busy bee. Some people do enjoy video games, TV, etc. Besides, those online courses are incredibly tedious. Do you really enjoy watching some person speak on camera for 10-30 minutes per segment? I did a course about writing children’s books, it was so boring I gave up after 5 videos, and I’m glad I gave up since I’m not the kind of person that should be writing children’s books. As for volunteering, why would anyone want to work for free? That’s ridiculous. You ever done it? I did it at a soup kitchen, sure, it was nice feeding a bunch of homeless person, but it wasn’t nice smelling like a kitchen later on. Plus, some of those homeless people looked healthy, where attractive, so why the heck are they homeless? Either way, I’m not criticizing you, I’m just letting you know that not everyone in the world is like you. If others want to follow your example, they can. Personally, I’ve been there, done that, and I ain’t going back.
  13. To me the customer is King only if he pays me, tips me, and hires me again. 🙂 Either way, I don’t say much, otherwise I might say something offensive. Sometimes I’m very truthful and that gets me in trouble. Nowadays if someone has a bad idea, I just work with it. It makes me sad, though, there are people with horrible business ideas. How can they live with themselves? How will they feel when they fail? Maybe they have bigger gonads than me. 🙂
  14. You’re kidding, do you have any idea how many buyers won’t order without asking me if they can order? Jesus F. Christ, I am sick of constant communication. Even when these people place an order, they still message you asking if you got their order. I told one guy, “if you can see your instructions, then I got your order.” Communication is overrated. This isn’t real estate, you’re not closing a multi-million dollar deal, you’re not an account executive prospecting over cocktails. You’re a seller on Fiverr, all you have to do is. Get an orderDeliver the orderThat’s it. You can always say thank you, even tell them about your order services, but my advice is keep communication to a minimum.
