  1. Hello! My name is Patrik. I'm a long time reader, first time poster. I've been on Fiverr for about 2 years now, Level 2 Seller in the Audio category (Voice Acting). I should note that this opinion piece is entirely based on my experience, as well as the experience of some of the lovely folks I've met who also use Fiverr as one of their sources of income. From personal experience, my gigs have been sucessful for most of the 2 years. The start was slow, but picked up pace within 3 months. Since then, I've had at least one buyer weekly, and have been making $100-$300 monthly, which is okay based on my expectations. I've had between 2000 and 3000 impressions on my 2 most popular gigs. However, once I've decided to add the Subscription option and actually received my first subscription, this has changed. Since Voice Work is very gig-dependant (not in the Fiverr sense of a gig, but rather as gig-work, work that is not guaranteed and one you need to constantly pitch yourself for), the subscription obviously took months to complete. Not due to my ineptitude or anything; far from it! I deliver within 24 hours of every single order, oftentimes even within 12. The buyer took their time with their creative work, so I managed to finish the subscription with them after 4-5 months of constant waiting with that "1-2 orders in queue." Coincidentally, my impression numbers during that time didn't jsut drop - they plummeted. Note that I have a 100% 5-star rating, delivery speed under 24 hours and a response rate of 1 hour. By Fiverr's standards, I should be a prized seller. Better yet, I keep climbing in the Voice Acting world as well, getting better and better roles outside of Fiverr, because they stopped promoting my gigs and shoveled them at the back of the list. So, what gives? As would everyone in my situation, I opened a support ticket where I was met with the standard corpo speech of "we're sorry you're dealing with this" and "you should try improving your quality," yada yada yada. In reality, it's due to their algorithm that I was cut off. Why? Likely because it calculated that I do not finish the orders I get, because of that "1 Order in Queue" from the subscription. So, now that I'm at 500 impressions per week, down from 2000 a year ago, I have nothing left but to move on to another platform, or to completely quit freelance gig-work and join an agency (which, to be honest, is a better way to earn, but it's also more restrictive and complex rather than doing it all your way). My question to my fellow sellers is - Have you experienced something similar? I know of at least 7 other people who have/had the exact same situation as me. Any my advice is - Until this is proven to be wrong (and backed with data), I highly suggest you stop offering subscriptions if you aren't in the line of work where they could be utilised on a day to day basis. Thank you for reading. I will attempt to keep track of the thread and reply as much as I can. P.S. I've also been wondering for what purpose is Fiverr's cut 20% if they don't even offer you the ability to be found by a buyer? I've found more buyers outside of Fiverr and pointed them to my Fiverr profile than Fiverr has pointed any organic on-site buyers to me. At least as of the last 5 months. Very, very bizarre.
  2. Fiverr is always trying to support all sellers with attractive features... Now Subscription feature in custom offer available to all sellers for their returning buyers Since Day 1 - The subscriptions feature was open only for quality sellers. Starting from today - Now all sellers will be able to use the subscription feature for their satisfied returning buyers. So now you can use subscription feature for day/week/month based system and customize orders to your returning buyers. Hope this will help you all.
  3. I had a buyer chase me for their 3rd and final subscription order. This order isn't in my orders queue anywhere. I'm a bit confused... Why is the date the 10th September when it's a monthly subscription and should have started on the 28th August? Even if it is the 10th September why has it not started yet / in the requirements stage? I feel like I've had some brain fog recently so I'm wondering if I'm missing something obvious? (I've reached out to support)
  4. Hi! I had my first subscription order. My buyer chose the monthly subscription, but I finished the job earlier. We were discussing if it can be possible to manually start the next order and not to wait until the end of the month. If it isn't possible, ¿How can we move forward? I don't know if cancelling the subscription will affect my Order completion rate. Thanks!

  6. Hi, I had a client on a 10 blog sub and they disappeared after the first 2 but the sub kept rolling. 2 months (or so) later they've submitted the requirements for all 8 of them at once and I can't get them all done in the usual time frame as I'm "unavailable" for my wedding this week. I've spoken to the client about extending at least a few of them so that I can get them done which they said was fine but now they aren't replying to any messages or extension requests. I'm not sure what to do or what I can do because I don't want 8 late orders or cancellations when the client has already agreed. Any ideas?

  8. So I hope I'm being dim but I can't for the life of me find my subscriptions. I have 2 buyers that both started a subscription last month and I completed both of their first orders in the subscription. About a month has passed and I know the next order for each is due to start shortly but I can't find them anywhere. In the help centre it references the 'order page' and the 'subscriptions tab' but I can't see this anywhere. Does anyone have any idea?
  9. I have noticed to get subscriptions for my all gigs(8). i have set for two gigs, and thinking ofr other how to add it. But suddenely i have found that there is no subscription option after a week later. And, i can't delete or modify those two gigs with subscription i have set. Is this a game! What should i do then!
  10. I would love to be able to setup weekly subscription gigs. Or bi-weekly. I know I can do custom offers. I am talking about setting up a gig that is strictly for subscriptions. Monthly does not work for me and I don't want it combined with the basic gig and a subscription is an option. It seems simple enough to give us this flexibility.
  11. If the gig is done in 7 days can the subscribe buyer request the next one right away? Or are subscriptions only meant to be one illustration (in my case) each month? I do not know what to tell my client who would like to get a subscription to me but doesn't know how these work here and asks me if I can explain ot to him. So again. If a monthly subscribed gig order is finished in less than a week, is that going to: a) trigger the beginning of the next order for that month? b) trigger the order meant for the next month? (therefore, if he subscribes for 6 months and I finish all of his 6 order in one week his subscription will end) c) not le him place an order to me for a month, until a "cool down" happen? Please help me on this one. Fiverr is very ambiguous about this feature in their description.

  13. I am a seller in fiverr and recently I have got the option to activate subscription in most of my gigs. I am going to activate it. But If I want to send a custom offer to any buyer in subscription form, the rebate percentage is not working. How can I send it ? Please help.
  14. How many repeat order is required to activate subscription option in fiverr gig ? I want to activate subscription in one gig of my fiverr profile. There is one return buyer with so many order. But there is no repeat business score showing till now. My gig category is eligible for subscription. What is the criteria for it ?
  15. So I have been a seller on Fiverr for over 1 year. I have always maintained a 100% completion rate. I had a repeat client forget about his subscription, and so I had to request that he cancel the order. He has continued to come back for other orders and I am in good standing. This was my first and only cancellation, to date. Now my Order Completion score has fallen to 90%. What gives?! How can I have a 90% order completion rate when I have only had one cancellation...and one that was not my fault. Does anyone know how to remedy this issue? It makes me wary of using the subscription option.
  16. Hey, I got this notification ("You have been chosen as one of the first Sellers to offer subscriptions") today. Anyone here to make it clear to me? 🙏🙏 I didn't get it 😢
