  1. Please see the article below. It is very detailed in describing how Fiverr determines "appearance" quality and "delivery" quality for each seller. https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/293675-📈-fiverr-simplified-get-matched/ I checked out your gigs and here's what you can do to improve them: https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/284256-no-orders-here-are-7-updates-you-can-make-during-the-slow-times/ This means you write your profile and gig descriptions for your buyers - less "I, me, my" statements and more "you" statements. Address your buyers' pain points and show them how you are the solution to their problems. I like @jonbaas's article here: https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/211706-are-you-a-new-seller-this-is-how-you-get-more-orders/ Not yet. 😊 As a seller, there's a lot to do. Read the articles above and follow the tips to optimize your business. Being in business requires that you constantly research, apply, test, and check your progress to grow your business.
  2. Hi @rudy_paige01, it's useless to search for yourself because Fiverr's search results are unique and specific for each buyer. I can never find myself in search because I'm not my target buyer. However, I know buyers are finding me on search because I'm getting inquiries and orders. Stop looking for your gig in search. Instead, focus on your impressions, clicks, and conversion rate. Impressions are based on how relevant Fiverr thinks you are in search. Clicks are based on on how attractive your gig card is to your target buyers. If you have impressions and clicks but no orders, you need to work on your conversion rate. I like @frank_d's articles that explains how Fiverr works and what you can do to get seen on Fiverr's marketplace: https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/243824-welcome-to-fiverr-30/ https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/278118-fiverr-30-revisited-aka-fiverr-31/
  3. Hi @j_writer001, Welcome to the forum! 😊 Impressions are based on how "relevant" you are when buyers search for your services on Fiverr's marketplace. The more relevant you are, the more visible you will be in search. When your impressions go down, this means you are seen as less "relevant" than other gigs on the marketplace. Relevancy is based on two factors: 1) the relevancy of your gig (think title, tags, and gig descriptions) and 2) your seller performance (e.g., quick responses, more orders, faster deliveries, happier customers, good seller metrics, etc.). You might have good seller metrics, but if another seller has more orders, responding quicker, or performing better than you, they will be seen as more relevant. You can read more about how Fiverr works and how you can become the seller that Fiverr wants to promote: https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/243824-welcome-to-fiverr-30/ https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/278118-fiverr-30-revisited-aka-fiverr-31/ https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/293675-%F0%9F%93%88-fiverr-simplified-get-matched/ And here's what you can do to improve your gigs so that they attract your target clients: https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/284256-no-orders-here-are-7-updates-you-can-make-during-the-slow-times/
  4. How many clicks do you have for each gig? 200 impressions means that you are getting shown to buyers on Fiverr's marketplace. You can work on getting more impressions by being the high-quality seller that Fiverr promotes. If you have low clicks, that means buyers aren't interested in your gig and you need to make your gig card more attractive to your target buyers (e.g., images, videos, prices, and titles). If you have a low conversion rate (clicks are not turning into orders), then you need to tailor your gigs so that buyers will be convinced to buy from you once they visit your gig page. There are 46,731 services available for video editors. That's your competition. In order to get seen, you have to make yourself stand out from the crowd. You can do this by targeting a specific group of buyers, communicating your points of difference, and building up you portfolio to give yourself credibility with your buyers.
  5. I love your portfolio that you have up @aggie_n! Those are great images. What category did you decide to go on for those? You might want to reach out to Customer Service on the Photography category. It looks like they haven't updated that category in all of their features yet. Hmm ...I'm not sure if it would mess with the algorithm if you did that. I mostly do writing but my portfolio is only design-related. I haven't shown any of my writing samples in my portfolio yet. This doesn't seem to affect my visibility with buyers on the writing side. Have you seen any changes in inquiries and orders on your side?
  6. This might be hard because most of the people preaching this advice are just regurgitating advice given to them by others. I was told by the first seller I met on this platform to stay online as much as possible. There was no explanations of "why." Okay! I'll direct any good nominees to this thread! 😊 The earliest mention I see on the forum of "stay online 24\7" was a 2013 complaint that Fiverr's policies encouraged sellers to be online 24\7. This was on page 1,241 of the forum results. Other more recent complaints pointed to the "online" search filter and the green "online" indicator on each seller's profile picture as a cause for encouraging sellers to be online more. I also visited several YouTube channels and websites from gurus who were TRSs and Pro-sellers. It looks like they just wanted more subscribers. I ran through a couple of recent threads from those wanting to bring buyer requests back and their reasoning was it was the only thing that kept them "busy" and "online" all the time (which support what @brownzay was saying above about the buyer request link to "staying online"). There's a lot of anxiety around starting a new business. Unlike being an employee, "busy" doesn't equal income. However, being busy can alleviate stress associated with not having orders. Staying online is one of the easiest ways to stay busy and make someone think that they are doing something productive that will lead to orders. Unfortunately, it rarely does.
  7. Hi @freelancer_gv, Congratulations on finishing your first order! It looks like the buyer did accept the delivery because I see a nice 5-star review on your account, with the buyer saying that she is ready to order again. 😊 Buyers are not required to accept their orders. Orders will auto-close 3 days after delivery if the buyer doesn't respond. This only happens if the order is canceled, which isn't the case here.
  8. Hi @veerdesigns1, Welcome to Fiverr and the forum! I took a look at your gigs and noticed that you are a graphic designer offering to create thumbnail images for YouTube. On 5 of your gig images, the text is cut off on the edges, which doesn't make your gig images look good. You might also want to update the designs so that they don't look like all of the other gigs that are offering similar services. Buyers only have a few seconds to scroll through all their search results and if yours looks like everyone else's, it won't get clicked on. Here's helpful advice on how you can optimize your gigs to attract your target buyers: https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/284256-no-orders-here-are-7-updates-you-can-make-during-the-slow-times/
  9. Hi @junaed_a, it can take time before you get your first order. Here are some things you can do to improve your credibility with buyers so you can get that first order: https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/282867-how-to-build-credibility-on-fiverr-even-if-youre-a-new-seller-with-zero-reviews/ https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/211706-are-you-a-new-seller-this-is-how-you-get-more-orders/ https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/284256-no-orders-here-are-7-updates-you-can-make-during-the-slow-times/
  10. Normally custom offers can be withdrawn from your inbox. It will show up as a gray box, but if you hover over it, you should be able to click on it. No, this shouldn't affect anything.
  11. Hi @sacredtravis, based on my review of your profile and gig: 1. Profile & Gig Descriptions - You talk about yourself but not what you can do for your clients - use more "you" statements and less "Me, my, I" statements. This can also be applied when you are writing your gigs. Don't just list what you can do - speak to your customer's pain points and show them why you are the "solution" and answer to all of their problems. 2. Credibility - You have the "Highly responsive" badge and 5-star reviews. You are off to a great start. I've never had the "Highly responsive" badge. As you continue to offer quality services and keep your buyers happy, you can gain additional badges (such as the Fiverr's Choice badge and becoming a leveled seller) that will help give you greater credibility and trust with your buyer. 3. Portfolio - Before I had many reviews, my portfolio was what convinced buyers to place orders with me. Take advantage of the gig video, 3 images, and 2 PDFs that you get with each gig to show off your skills and unique selling proposition (USP). 4. Customer Lifespan - I listened to my customers and tailored all 7 of my gigs to cater to their needs. This allowed me to get 4-5 orders from each customer (which is very helpful for getting more customers). As I was closing one order, I would give the buyer the next order via custom offer. This is one way to quickly get orders. Also, by planning with your buyers, you can gain more stability in your orders. I have one customer where we have a years' worth of orders planned out. Some customers don't want to see that far but on your end, you can have a tentative plan for that customer. 5. Repeat Customers - Once you get customers, keep them happy and try to convert them to lifetime customers. This may be hard when you're first starting out because your prices may be lower. You may have to part ways with you previous customers and take on new clients at your higher rates. 12. Fiverr Customer Support won't remove those images unless you show them proof that your buyers approve of the images being removed. Technically, only buyers are supposed to make this request (the images belong to your buyers and buyers must approve the images before they're posted with the review). However, as a seller, I'm able to remove images from reviews using screenshots of my buyers' approval. I let my buyers know that they accidentally approved confidential images to be included in my Live Gallery and ask for their permission to take it down. Once I have the screenshot, I'll send it to Customer Support and they remove the images right away.
  13. That's how I did all of my gig videos! The primary gig image was made the first slide in my gig video. Once my gig video was uploaded, I changed my primary images.
  14. You are getting orders every month with several orders this past week. Listen to what your customers are telling you and adjust your business accordingly. This is how I was able to grow my business. I listened carefully to what my buyers wanted, and if it was a services that I could provide, I offered it to them. I also made adjustments to my business based on my customers' reactions (e.g., customer service, order requirements, workflow, etc.).
  15. It's better in that it aligns more with how Fiverr does business - Fiverr is a matching service, not a bidding platform. The Brief & Match feature won't be better for those who depended on buyer requests for the bulk of their orders. To learn more how you can become the seller that Fiverr will promote (and get more orders), please read the following: https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/293675-%F0%9F%93%88-fiverr-simplified-get-matched/ https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/284256-no-orders-here-are-7-updates-you-can-make-during-the-slow-times/
  16. That message is for everyone and only on certain posts. Any new posts will be reviewed by a m0d before being added to the thread. This is usually added on topics that attract spammy responses. I just post like I normally do (my responses just won't show up until a m0d reviews it).
  17. If you want to know how Fiverr works and how to get found, read these articles here: https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/293675-%F0%9F%93%88-fiverr-simplified-get-matched/ https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/243824-welcome-to-fiverr-30/ https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/278118-fiverr-30-revisited-aka-fiverr-31/ I couldn't even find myself by typing in my username when I first got started. Everyone starts from zero here. I also wouldn't worry about your friends not finding you. They aren't your customers, and your customers won't be typing in your username to find you. Please read the articles I sent you so that you can start getting found by buyers who are interested in your services. I was also a new seller earlier this year, so I know that it can be done.
  18. Hi @kamilio_show, I looked at your animated GIF gig and you need to rewrite your gig description as soon as possible: If you want to make money on this platform, you will need to be much more professional than this. Gig with poorly written descriptions often get reported for "low quality" and shut down very quickly. Fiverr expects its sellers be professional, and that shows in the time and effort they take in putting their gigs together. This article may be helpful for you: https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/284256-no-orders-here-are-7-updates-you-can-make-during-the-slow-times/
  19. Hi @poledne, you can share your direct link with your friends. It will be your user name after the fiverr.com URL. Example: fiverr.com/usernamehere
  20. Hi @tutu_guru, If you have good impressions and clicks but no orders, buyers are visiting your gig and deciding not to buy from you. So you have to improve your conversion rate. Here's a good guide on how to do that: https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/263159-many-clicks-but-no-sales-read-this-a-guide-to-improve-conversion-rate/
  21. Hi @noman_creation7, You might want to search the forum - there are many new sellers like you, asking the same questions every day. As mentioned, starting a business takes a lot of time and effort. I like how @lloydsolutions said it here: https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/234149-new-sellers-the-true-way-to-success/ You also might want to read @miiila's article here with 5 tips to get started: https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/279005-the-first-5-things-you-should-do-when-starting-your-fiverr-career/
  22. Hi @small_savage, I see that you are a digital marketer, so you'll be very interested in learning how Fiverr operates. Understanding this will help you to get orders: https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/293675-%F0%9F%93%88-fiverr-simplified-get-matched/
  23. Currently there are two spots where you can do that: from the dropdown menu under your profile picture, or from your fiverr.com buyer page. It is labeled as "Post a request," but it will take you through the steps to create a brief:
  24. Hi @noirparliament_, Here's a guide that will be helpful for you: https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/78709-forum-guide-where-to-post-what-to-post-whats-in-the-categories/ Note: You can only share your gigs in "My Fiverr Gigs" and "Improve My Gigs."
