  1. Setting Gig prices on Fiverr is about balance. Buyers want to feel that they’re receiving value for their investment; Sellers want to feel that they’re being paid fairly for their work. Consider how Buyers look at your Gigs, and then consider the tools Fiverr has created to allow you to create a Gig that both sells and expands your earning opportunities. PACKAGES Most Fiverr Gigs allow for the creation of tiered “packages.” Essentially, these are variations on your basic Gig, increasing service levels and adjusting costs accordingly. For example, a writer might offer three packages offering documents of varying lengths—one for 500 words, another for 1000 words, and yet another for 2000 words, clear choices to fit the Buyer’s specific needs. Your packages might reflect other factors: a voice-over recording artist might offer something similar in the recorded length. One tier might offer a 30-second recording, another a 2-minute recording, and yet another recording an entire chapter of an audiobook. Pricing reflects both added value for the Buyer while respecting the value of the Seller’s service. EXTRAS Most Gigs also offer extras, allowing Buyers to customize your Gig to their needs by purchasing options to create precisely what they need. For example, one popular option is rush delivery in just one day. You may have set standard delivery for three days, but offering the option of paying a reasonable premium—and having that job delivered sooner is often appealing to entrepreneurs anxious to get a job done. Extras can represent all sorts of options, including additional research, added features, or supplementary rights. For example, artists offer a variety of rights allowing usage across specific media, and a visual artist might include extras offering editable source files. By offering added-cost extras, you can keep the cost of your basic packages low. As a result, Buyers will perceive your Gig as a good value but often spend more than the basic price. Extras offer an opportunity for the Buyer and potential for your income. RAISE YOUR PRICE! Finally, remember setting a price for your Gig, packages, and extras isn't a “set it and forget it” task. As you gain positive reviews, revisit your pricing periodically. Keep an eye on your competition, and don’t hesitate increasing your price as your experience and ratings grow. You’ve earned it! A good practice is to create a personal milestone to increase your package price by $5 once you reach 50 reviews and another $5 when you earn 100 reviews. Remember, your ratings and reputation on the site also signal to the Buyer that you’re a worthwhile investment. Raising your prices over time is vital to establish your value and legitimacy and to drive your growth. Some Buyers may be concerned that raising prices might slow sales, but perception is everything. Modest incremental increases (as opposed to suddenly doubling the price of a successful Gig) are in your best interest and will increase the perception and trust of potential Buyers. And remember, you can change pricing anytime—up or down—depending on market conditions. Want to read more? 2. Hi everyone, who has the same problems as me. We need to speak up because it seems like Fiverr Support doesn't respect loyal sellers with high-rated work. I have been working on Fiverr since 2021 and I tried so hard to reach TOP RATED. All my efforts have gone in vain since Fiver announced to flag of my account. I have sent several emails and hope they can help me to explain everything but they just send me automatic emails with no details information about my case. Now, I can't search my gigs on the market and neither do my clients. It's horrible because I don't receive any new messages and my impressions are increasing deeply. MY ACCOUNT IS DEAD NOT EVEN FLAGGED. This issue was not mentioned when they sent the emails ( attached images ) and they said that my gigs are still available for customers to place orders. But how can it happen if they prevent my gig shown on the market? I work full-time on Fiver and all of my clients rated 5 stars for my services. I'm loyal, and responsible and always provide high-quality work but Fiver doesn't even help me with my case. They just ignored me and sent me automatic responses. Where are my seller's right? The reasons they flagged my account due to location inconsistencies or other activities indicating a connection to violations of our Terms of Service. And they always said that this was the final decision and they have reviewed it carefully. If they do review so where is the evidence? They must have that right so they can accuse me. I feel like they accused me baselessly and could not give me a clear explanation with specific evidence. THIS COMMUNITY OPERATES BASED ON SELLERS AND BUYERS, SO PLEASE HAVE FAIR POLICIES ABOUT SELLERS' RIGHTS OF WORK. DON'T BE RESPECTFUL AND GIVE ME THE RIGHT ANSWER FOR ALL MY DOUBTS. Please look at the attached images about the conversations between me and Fiverr support !!!! They never showed me the evidence or explained the reasons for flagging my account.
  3. Guess what, folks? I've aced only one gig's success score, but that's not enough for me. I'm in hot pursuit of the nitty-gritty details. You know, the specifics. I've already tried reaching out to the Customer Service crew, but their response was as clear as mud about how many orders I need for an individual gig's success score. I'm this close to pulling out my hair in frustration! Can anyone out there lend a hand and tell me the magic number of orders I need for that sweet success score for every individual gig?
  4. Are these really legitimate buyers -- or just scam artists hoping you'd fall for their "sweet talk"? I routinely get dozens of messages from "buyers" wanting various services (usually generic messages including some services I don't even offer). They always want contact off the Fiverr platform (usually Telegram) -- promise the moon and other nonsense. Fortunately, most of the time, their accounts have been blocked so that I can't even answer them (which is great). The few times where I directed them to engage me through my Fiverr gig, absolutely none responded. That just screams "SCAM" in my ear, loud and clear. If you are getting messages from seemingly legitimate sources, that are discussing real projects, real scope and expectations, yet backing out without explanation -- there may be something about the gig terms that they don't like. Again, this may also be a more "experienced" scammer seeing how far they can get.
  5. Jack up your prices.. if you charge Mcdonald's prices you are going to get Mcdonald's customers along with all the aggravation that entails. Can I have more fries. My servings too small. Can you give me a large coke, im a regular customer (pun intended). people who order your gig because its sounds good and then ask what they have ordered. Revisions to infinity & beyond. What’s going to happen then?. You are going to be stuck in a vicious circle of working with low ball customers repeatedly asking for discounts, revisions and extra work. It’s a shortcut to failure and will eventually fail because the bad feedback will soon start to pile up and you will be left with a failure score that removes you from search. The only way to success with this is to hire a lot of people and whip them constantly to row faster while offering prices so low no one is going to complain. Before you know it you will be in meksell hell. If you want to do it you can do it. A lot of people on here do and they are not too hard to find. You just need to find some slaves who will do the work at a low enough price to make it profitable. I tried that at first and the only way it works is if you pump out orders at the speed of light and keep doing it. Obviously you are going to have to do something for this to work before you get overwhelmed and start looking for the nearest bridge.. The something depends on the services you are offering. If its copywriting, delegating or outsourcing or employing low cost workers is not going to work. Simply because the quality of work is going to vary enormously and it’s going to result in bad feedback from one order to the next from the same customers. If it’s copywriting though you can charge serious wonga by finding the right customers. Higher prices do translate to higher profits if you can find the customers.If. I had a lot of luck on my side. Going back a very long way someone who was a friend of the owner of Moz approached me and asked about writing reports for websites. You may not think there is a lot of money in this but trust me this is the gateway to upselling heaven.if you know what you are doing. The problems with this was at the time people were ( and still are) using software to generate reports which are meaningless & generic. The idea was to take time and write real reports and turn people into repeat customers. This was the definition of finding an opening in an existing niche. I also found some (a few). people on here who were trying to push a specific service but their pricing was wrong and their packages were worded wrong and pushed the wrong way.. I went and approached some friends and set up a business just offering this one service. We bought an office in Europe and bought in people to do the work. I then did the same for another service and bought an office somewhere very low cost, not in Europe and put someone in charge of it. The biggest problems with upscaling are this. #1 if you are going to employ people in any shape or form they are going to try and copy what you are doing or steal your customers. That’s a given and you need to work on the basis they will do this. To combat this you don’t show anyone the whole picture and just keep them focused on their own tasks. #2 regardless of how much you delegate. You will need to keep a very close eye on what people are doing that are working for you. People will always try to “do it better” AKA shortcuts. for nearly two years I was surviving on four hours sleep a night. #3 you need to find the customers if you are not selling them McDonalds.. There are corporate customers on here with single user accounts. One of them Ive known before fiverr existed and has sent me a huge number of corporate customers. This guy is the cfo of a company right at the top of the fortune 100 and there are plenty on here. Trust me on that. Where can you find people like this? Linkedin, the place is a goldmine. Also chambers of commerce . I will admit I’ve had help from some extremely wealthy individuals who I have come into contact with through other means. Biggest problem is getting help on here. When you run into problems you are going to be on your own to a large degree.. Not because people don’t want to help but do not really understand issues that are beyond their own experiences. In the distant past ive asked for things which I know would have helped me scale things on here & address issues and easily scale to at least three to four times what I was making but many things were misunderstood and I just dropped them. One thing I would pay for here are project management tools. This would make life 1000 times easier and enable everyone to scale up. Just in case you think this will not work. It will. I’ve no problem showing my earnings on here. this post is full of typos and spelling errors. I dont care. fix them yourself or whatever and go and make some money.
  6. Cancellations are part of the business and will at times be inevitable, but it is important to understand how that can impact your business and how can you, as a seller, manage that to avoid it potentially affecting your buyer’s experience and your baselines requirements that are directly connected to your seller level. The Order Completion Rate calculates the total amount of orders over the previous 60 days (whether completed or canceled), divided by the number of canceled orders, and then multiplied by 100 to reveal the percentage of orders completed. First, manage expectations. Your Gig should clearly define what you need to complete an order and a reasonable delivery time that’s fast, efficient for buyers, and comfortable for you as the seller. If the order goes Very Late, the buyer can cancel your order anytime. Complete your Gig’s Frequently Asked Questions section to inform buyers what they should expect and how they can help assure a positive experience. Managing expectations is key to avoiding cancellations. Whenever possible, communicate with buyers before they purchase your Gig. Within the Gig description, it’s a good practice to let buyers know they should contact you before purchasing for the best experience. This allows both parties to understand what’s involved in the specific job, ensure that you have what you need as a seller to complete the job, and agree to adjust the delivery time if necessary. Equally as important is to communicate with buyers after they purchase your Gig. If there’s a problem with your initial delivery, it’s best to avoid any mention of cancellation as an option. Instead, assure the buyer that your intention is always to complete their order to their satisfaction. Ask them for specific directions regarding revising your delivery. What if communication with the buyer isn’t working? Sometimes, an order may have issues beyond your control despite your best efforts. If the buyer is asking for work beyond the scope of your agreement or is problematic for any other reason, don’t hesitate to access the Resolution Center and if you still couldn’t solve the issue, reach out to customer support for guidance and direction. You can direct them to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) on the order page. There, you may find advice for your specific problem or contact support directly. Avoiding those cancellations from affecting your Order Completion Rate it’s only part of what you can achieve by following these tips, the most important is that this will help your buyers be more informed, aware of the process and have clear expectations, improving yours and their experience on Fiverr. 7. I was in a perfectly lit environment with a decent quality shot of my photo id? Even then they kept failing my verification attempts due to "bad quality photos", like bro do you want me to whip out a 5000$ DSLR and a studio to take my photos in.
  8. I didn't even see you replied someone, I thought you made a general statement. Regardless, there's so much private data and stuff we don't know that Fiverr takes into account at this point.. that I am sure no one has any clear idea of how this system works. Which is what I think Fiverr wants in the first place anyway. I had a gig with a success score of 10. I had no orders and just a single person self-promoted their service, I said Hi and then blocked them. No other interaction with that gig from me or any buyer, no sales, no messages. It dropped to SS 9 and then 8. Reason: Communication is seen as negative. So that alone shows me that the system is broken and I just don't really care about figuring things out, because it just makes you mad without bringing a proper solution. I know they compare it with others from the niche, but it doesn't say it might be due to that. Just negative impact from Communication, which is random because I tend to reply much much faster than the average seller here and always keep things civil.
  9. In a recent forum post here, we discussed the importance of adding a seller intro video to your profile. Beyond this, you may also want to consider adding videos to each of your gigs. Adding a gig video is an excellent way to showcase your individuality and stand out in the marketplace. Rather than relying on static gig images, a video allows you to effectively present what you offer in a captivating way. When making your video, keep these few things in mind. First, it’s important to note that if you upload a gig video, it will override any gig images you have. This means that the video will be your primary chance to make a stellar first impression and engage potential buyers. Your video should be high-quality, clear, and free from any background noise. Uploading a subpar video can adversely impact buyers' perception of you as this will be their first impression. Also, consider the length of your video, as videos can only be up to 75 seconds. Keep it concise and brief, using the time to introduce yourself, describe your service, and outline the buyer's expectations. Thorough, short, and attention-grabbing videos will keep your buyers attention and can push them to the next step. With this in mind, make sure to also include a call to action to encourage buyers to reach out. In addition, we recommend always having some sort of audio in your gig video. This helps it to be more compelling. If your video contains narration, opt for using your voice instead of computerized narration to add a personal touch. Finally, when you upload your gig video, make sure to always include a thumbnail. This step is important to remember because your video will pop up as the Gig Cover Image when buyers search in the marketplace. In conclusion, if you're seeking a way to distinguish yourself in the marketplace, incorporating a video into your gigs is an excellent starting point. Just follow these simple steps, blend them with your creativity and expertise, and you'll craft a captivating gig video in no time. For making a gig you should know these things. please read carefully. Understand Your Gig: Before you start designing, make sure you understand the essence of your gig. What service are you offering? What makes it unique? Who is your target audience? Choose the Right Dimensions: Fiverr recommends using an image size of 550 pixels wide x 370 pixels high. Ensure your image is clear and visually appealing at this size. Create a Catchy Title: Incorporate your gig title or a key benefit into the image. Use clear, legible fonts that align with your gig's style and branding. Highlight Your Offerings: Showcase your services visually. If you offer graphic design, writing, or any other service, include relevant icons, symbols, or images that represent your offerings. Add Text: Include concise and compelling text that conveys the value of your gig. Use attention-grabbing phrases or keywords that resonate with your target audience. Keep it simple and easy to read. Use High-Quality Images: Incorporate high-resolution images or graphics that are relevant to your gig. Ensure they are visually appealing and represent the quality of your work. Brand Consistency: Maintain consistency with your brand colors, fonts, and style. Use elements from your profile or portfolio to reinforce your brand identity. Include Your Logo: If you have a logo, consider adding it to your gig image for brand recognition. Place it strategically without overwhelming the design. Call-to-Action (CTA): Encourage viewers to take action by including a clear CTA. This could be "Order Now," "Learn More," or "Contact Me." Make it stand out but not too distracting. Test and Iterate: Once you've created your gig image, preview it in different contexts and on various devices to ensure it looks good and communicates effectively. Don't hesitate to iterate and make improvements based on feedback. Comply with Fiverr Guidelines: Make sure your gig image complies with Fiverr's guidelines regarding content, copyright, and prohibited materials. Avoid using misleading or deceptive imagery. By following these steps, you can create a compelling gig image that effectively communicates your services and attracts potential buyers on Fiverr. Thanks, Afaz.
  11. Thanks for deleting my reply to Smash! Your finger can smear all over the delete button of this as well while your eyes glaze over important details in the post above that really should be read. But no, I am definitely more important and you should focus on my impotent yapping instead. Look at that; a Fiverr millionaire pops out of the woodwork! Since he's better than me, let me quote something relevant that staff will probably continue to ignore. How's that going to work for going upmarket? Remember, lots of people are leaving. Or starting much more profitable businesses away from Fiverr and not bringing that stuff to Fvierr because apparently, the talents not here. What was it Fasulo said (hey, you're deleting this anyway)? This place is like trainer wheels for freelancers? I have to say, that did make me smile. The only thing that isn't clear is whether mark is refering to Fiverr or its sellers. I'm gonna go with both. Who cares about my opinion anyway? Not anyone here, since they'll never see it!
  12. Thanks for commenting on my status. I hope you can help me to figure out why this decision is final without giving me clear evidence. According to Fiverr responses, my account has been flagged due to location inconsistencies or other activities indicating a connection to violations of our Terms of Service. They also said that my account was connected to another disabled account. This decision was suddenly announced and didn't attach or provide any clear evidence even though I have emailed so many times to have the issue thoroughly explained. I strongly confirm that I only have 1 account, the one and the only. They should present clear evidence before making a final decision. The following are my arguments about these baseless accusations, and I think this is a BUG or AI fault: 1. Location inconsistencies: I don't know why I get this violation but I can make sure that I only work in 1 location in the last 3 years working on Fiverr. Even when I have traveled a lot. I don't ever take my work equipment with me while traveling. I am almost sure this is a BUG. They can show evidence if they trạcked the location of all my devices. If I used a fake IP or something, my account would have been banned for so long, not now when the new level system appeared. If you are saying because I have traveled a lot and this is the reason, that means I can't even go abroad or travel while working on Fiverr??? 2. My account was connected to another disabled account: I CONFIRM THAT I ONLY YOU 1 ACCOUNT SINCE I STARTED TO WORK ON FIVER. Many random reasons can lead my account to that disabled account. I have mentioned in the emails and I will repeat below: - Public wifi - Buy and sell used equipment: Not everyone can afford new equipment, especially in Asia. I have bought an old iPad and I don't know if this makes me get a violation. - My Macbook and iPhone were stolen by a thief. In 2023, a thief broke into my house and took everything I had. I don't even know if that account is seller or buyer or what it is. That's why I want to complain and I want them to recover my account level. If they have reviewed my account carefully, THEY MUST HAVE EVIDENCES TO SHOW ME. If I had done anything wrong, they must have banned my account for so long, not now. I have been working on Fiverr for 3 years and there are no problems occurred. My account has been flagged since new-level systems appeared. I want to negotiate and get my account back. This account is my life, my passion and I have tried to work so hard for it. Thank you!!!
  13. Note: I didn’t expect this to be a long post but I just started typing and here it is… There’s the overarching milestone of replacing my prior FT income with freelancing and now being free to travel/work from where I want to, but the things I’m most proud of are how some of the people I’ve worked with have developed and what they’ve achieved. I know this sounds cheesy but it really makes me happy. To be abundantly clear I am only ever 1% (or less!) of the puzzle that has made them successful, they are the ones who inevitably have to take action and do the hard work to make it happen. Coincidentally I just passed 2000 orders, and all my orders involve meeting with the client so I get to know my buyers quite well, and have therefore got quite a few stories. Maybe I should write a book (that obviously doesn’t break NDA requirements!). These are two of the stories that make me most proud… First one… Had a US buyer that worked in a chicken factory/abattoir. Single mom, 1 bedroom apartment, kids kids, minimum wage. A tough life. Unsurprisingly she wasn’t happy and wanted to do something about it. She wanted to do something around high-quality farming (I think her job was the main driver here!) and we came up with a plan. Short version is she created a site showcasing high quality farms/farming, what their story was etc. She initially listed them for free, built some traffic, and then once she had proven she could send their sites visitors from her own she started charging a monthly listing fee. She then added affiliates for some of the farm's products, ads, and got some sponsorship from some other companies. She’s now working with some chefs who are into using premium/healthy ingredients. 2 years ago she did 50 hour weeks and earned minimum wage doing something she hated for about $1600 a month. Now her business does 5 figures a month, she loves her ‘job’ (she quit the abattoir), her kids each have their own bedroom, and they went to Disney 6 months ago (their first family holiday). This makes me happy, and proud of what she’s achieved. She took action and changed her life. Second one... About 2 years ago a buyer, mid-twenties, high school dropout called me from his car in a Costco car park before he started his shift. His car had actually broken down there. His job was cardboard-crushing. He’d take the empty boxes of products and put them in the crusher. He sent me a video. It’s the type of thing that would be fun for five minutes, then dull as hell. He rented a room in a house that was pretty cheap, but he wasn’t allowed to have a bedroom door. Weird for sure, and unsurprisingly he wasn’t happy. Anyway, he was into fitness, photography, and making films. He had a half-decent video camera that he got for his 16th birthday. We made a plan for him to approach independent gyms and offer to do promo shoots for them. Aside from fuel, his costs were nearly non-existent. After 2 weekends of walking into gyms he had 3 clients/shoots booked. This first month he made $2K. He kept doing it, and each month he’d make a bit more. He quit Costco and built some savings. 6 months later he was in his own apartment (hooray, his own door), his car was fixed, and he had $20K in his business bank account. He then moved to LA a little over a year ago, started networking with other filmmakers, got more opportunities, and also a job in tech sales. His business does around $5K a month (he’s not 100% focused on it and is enjoying making art noir films), and $15K a month from his job. He jokes that he makes more now in a month than he used to in a year. He did this in 2 years, from a broken down car in a Costco car park, to 6 figures a year in LA schmoozing with actors and directors. Hard work pays off. (Both of these individuals have said before they’d be happy for me to tell their stories). I’ve also worked with a lot of other businesses that have grown from nothing to something, or grown from something to something awesome. Some have successfully gone through fundraising rounds, or been acquired which has been pretty cool to see. And some have failed of course. That’s life. If you take anything from these stories let it be that hard work beats talent! You have every chance of achieving your goals, but you have to take action!! Some other random experiences that don’t necessarily make me proud but I wouldn’t have had without Fiverr… A President of an African country (yes it was actually the President, he had his camera on and was in a very comfortable setting to say the least). A US Senator and a Congressman. Several fortune 500 C-Level execs (I was very surprised they were looking on Fiverr when I got started). An 8 year old (or thereabouts) YouTuber with millions of subscribers (his mum was also on the call). A UHNW who just liked chatting about random stuff. He walked me around his superyacht on one call, his garage full of supercars on another call and finally from his plane because he was bored during the flight. He never tipped though 😆 A Sheikh from the UAE. He did tip generously! (So let’s dispel the myth that all Fiverr buyers are cheap, sure lots are budget-conscious, but some have money to burn and are happy to spend it on services). Some Fiverr sellers. Not naming names but I expect some are reading this! That’s not to say all buyers are great, that’s life, I had one person who didn’t know different countries had different timezones. That was a painful experience. How that person survived until their twenties I’ll never know! Or the 16 year old who expected a 100mUSD investment for 2% of their business which was at the idea stage. Yep, there are people like that in the world. Anyway, because of the nature of my work I get to know my clients quite well, I get to know their back story, and also where they end up a lot of the time. You might not have the same visibility of what happens with/to your client, but whether you create logos, make videos, write copy, whatever, you have almost certainly helped someone else achieve their goals or even their dreams. I think that’s pretty cool!
  14. As a portfolio the images shows as your work sample that will showcase your skill to the prospective clients. Therefore no need to add a long PDF document as portfolio just take multiple screenshot and try to present in clear and understandable format as mentioned on the portfolio section.

  18. Temperature should reduce wrong information, but there's also the memory issue (ChatGPT will apparently soon be gifted with user-unique memory and an ability to remember the conversation - we'll see how that goes). The problem I am speaking of is more the copyright issue. It's one thing if you have a small-scale AI that knows everything about you and your business, quite another if you're a "repository" of billions/trillions of words which can't really be sourced from "proper sources" if those sources are copyrighted. Then you're left with stuff like whatever u/callofdoody says on Reddit or some other forum. You don't really want "creativity" for professional answers, you want accuracy. But when the answers are coming from anonymous people who may be using Reddit's own algorithms to game authority rather than share it, stuff becomes a bit trickier. Exhibit A: Fiverr Neo's ongoing inability to produce sellers that match my very clear search parameters. I imagine all this checking would be very costly - perhaps too costly. One of the reasons AI is so beloved is due to its ability to increase "efficiency" and cut costs, with the result often being mediocre output. That's not necessarily bad: there is always room for mediocre output so long as it achieves whatever goals it has to, but the problem with AI in its current state is that it's a case of the emperor's new clothes. Nobody's getting excited about the mediocre content, yet due to the efficiency and time-savings (and duplicity), it is everywhere. This benefits nobody in the end. The reality is - and yeah, Fiverr's identified this - is that humans need to make AI content better. But then we run into the thorns of the whole non-disclosure issue.
  19. Communication is the most important factor in determining Buyer satisfaction and securing repeat business. As your business on Fiverr grows, you will develop your own communication style that works specifically for your brand and target audience. Learning to effectively communicate with Buyers is a skill that will improve over time until you have a list of phrases and methods that you can use with confidence in any situation. Tips for Communicating with Buyers Throughout an Order It’s important to utilize formal communication methods with Buyers. Rather than treating conversations like sending text messages back and forth, use a structured format in your sentences and paragraphs. Form complete thoughts in longer messages to convey all the necessary information in fewer messages. This can help prevent confusion and make it easier to review communication, which is especially helpful if Customer Support needs to intervene. There are three important points in an order lifecycle where you can increase your Buyer’s satisfaction by communicating effectively: before, during, and after. 1. Before an order begins Make sure you have all the information you need from a Buyer before starting any work on their behalf. This includes information about what they need, how much room they have in their budget, and any deadlines for completion. As soon as you know what needs to be done, share those details with your Buyer. This will help ensure that everyone has a clear understanding of the order goals and what is expected from both parties during its execution. 2. During an order Although it might be tempting to immediately get to work using the information provided in the requirements, your Buyer may have expectations that weren’t explicitly mentioned. It’s good to get into the habit of reviewing the requirements carefully and reaching out if anything is unclear or incomplete. This will help manage expectations on both ends, making it more likely for the Buyer to be satisfied with their delivery. Keep in regular contact with your Buyer throughout an order, so they know how things are progressing and what needs to happen next for them to receive their desired outcome at each stage. Make sure that you answer questions quickly and thoroughly so your client knows they can reach out if they need help with anything related to the project. This also means responding quickly to requests for changes and letting your client know if there are unexpected changes in scope or timeline. 3. After an order closes Many Sellers believe that the line of communication closes once the order does. However, staying in touch with Buyers will ensure you’ve delivered to their satisfaction and solidify you as their go-to Seller. Thank every Buyer for working with you and inform them of your additional, related services, so they know you can offer even more value. Lastly, remind them they will be getting an anonymous, confidential post-order survey and that their feedback is welcome but keep in mind to not guide them to a positive to not violate the Terms of Service. When you communicate the right information at the right time, you're providing immense value to your Buyer - and that's something they just might reward you for. Good communication will not only lead to Buyer satisfaction but can also generate repeat business for your blossoming freelancing career!
  20. So the evidence is still up. archive.org doesn't have a particularly clear policy here (I haven't looked at the linked pages yet), but it appears that their policy is "you can remove it yourself". Not very much going on in the terms: https://archive.org/about/terms.php However, it does mean that there is evidence. Did anyone living in the EU recieve an email about this data breach? I live in Greece, which is in the EU, and I did not. I've checked my emails. GDPR doesn't show up at all, data breach, or "sorry", or "we apologize" or "compromised" or any of the other stock phrases that usually arise when a company does an oopsie and doesn't want a large fine. Somehow, I rather think that GDPR fines will overshadow any extra funds clawed back from "price alignments" to SPP (remember the EU consumer law violation?)

  22. Hello, I'm writing to address a concerning issue with my account regarding the use of Envato Elements in my design work. Despite the fact that my work is primarily created from scratch and not entirely reliant on templates, my account has been restricted. This is not the first time this problem has arisen. About a year ago, a similar issue occurred, but it was resolved after providing evidence of my licensing agreements and providing the source files for review. However, this time around, despite submitting the same evidence, I've received unhelpful responses from Fiverr support, including a generic message stating, "we have no additional information or assistance to provide on this particular issue." I'm at a loss as to why the same problem, even with clear evidence and proof of licensing, is not being resolved. To assist in resolving this matter, I have provided Fiverr support with the following: License documents confirming my rights to use Envato Elements. Source files for my gig. Source files for all completed work, totaling 150 orders, to demonstrate that my work is indeed created from scratch. Despite these efforts, I have yet to receive a satisfactory response or resolution. It's particularly frustrating to observe numerous gigs on the platform that clearly utilize copied images from websites like Freepik or templates, yet they continue to operate without issue. I'm reaching out for guidance on what steps to take next in this situation. Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. "I understand that no one in the forum can assist me other than Customer Support. However, despite providing detailed evidence and communication in two separate tickets, the supervisor from Customer Support has marked them as resolved without providing a satisfactory resolution. I have read about similar cases in this forum where accounts were restored after providing licensing documentation of template. Why is my situation not receiving the same resolution?
  23. Thanks a lot. This post gives great advice on why adding videos to your gig is a smart move. It explains how a video can help you stand out and make a good impression. From this post, I know the tips on making a video that's short, clear, and interesting. Adding a video could really help sellers attract more buyers!
  24. With all the latest "improvements" on Fiverr, like success scores, Fiverr's AI fetish, and changes to the level system, our mental health as sellers is more on the line than ever before. Fiverr has always gamified our careers, but it has gotten to a point where many veteran freelancers are ditching the platform or have stopped caring due to sheer mental exhaustion. Fiverr will tell you that it's for your own good – bless their hearts – so while they're busy generating some GPT drivel about these changes being improvements empowering sellers like you, I thought I'd look into the techniques you can use, at the very least to make it less miserable. At the end of the day, my conclusion is that being a freelancer on Fiverr isn't fun anymore. The community has died off thanks to low quality mumbo jumbo, while actual contributors are getting banned left and right for raising their voices about it. Anyway, I digress. Here are some stuff you can do to stress less. Set boundaries: Yes, I'm banging the boundary drum again, because it's so important for your sanity. If you've got buyers messaging you at midnight and expecting you to answer, it's time to set some office hours and stick to them. Tighten up your revisions policy: No free lunch. Make it clear from the get-go and have an easy to understand revision policy that includes you getting paid for your time. Working for free makes Fiverr even less fun. Knowing your own value has the added benefit of attracting buyers who also understands this concept. Take real breaks: And no, scrolling on Insta isn't a break. Get up, get out, get some air. It keeps burnout at bay (and it's good for you). Keep learning: Stay on top of the changes happening and read all you can about it. And when Fiverr spews out some GPT corporate speak about stuff like success scores and alike, read between the lines. There's a lot to be learned and knowing how stuff works instead of guessing will make things less miserable down the line. Know when to say no: No, that project isn't worth your mental wellbeing. If it smells fishy, it's probably not sushi, but Surströmming (if you know, you know.) Only work on projects that feels right, even if it means earning less this month. Being picky about your buyers is more important than ever, and a 100 bucks today could mean endless revision loops tomorrow. Vet your buyers. Fiverr seems intent on cranking up the stress, but you don't have to let it rule your life. Disconnect, take a real vacation, regroup, and come back when you're good and ready. Your well-being is worth more than their bottom line.
