As a new seller How can we grow our selling in fiverr?
theratypist replied to angularcurb's topic in Gig Advice
27 hours in a day is a lot! -
Even if it wasn't a scam you aren't allowed to contact people outside the platform.

I feel I was ripped off- Fiverr Select vs Fiverr Business
theratypist replied to greggidneyvo's question in Starter Questions
Fiverr Select is for buyers. Buyers can also sign up to have a Fiverr Business profile. Sellers can choose to be listed in the catalog for Fiverr Business (which only buyers who signed up for a Fiverr Business profile can access). Your gigs by default will be shown in the normal Fiverr and the Fiverr Business catalog, you can also choose to only show up in the Fiverr Business catalog. I think it is a win-win, because you aren't paying to be listed in Fiverr Business. I'm not sure what subscription you're referring to but if you're a seller on Fiverr Business, there is no payment.. Perhaps Seller Plus (?) because that's a subscription for sellers https://www.fiverr.com/support/articles/360011920618-Fiverr-Select-Buyer-loyalty-program?segment=buyer Fiverr Select, formerly known as the Very Important Doer (V.I.D) program, is an exclusive program that’s open to loyal Fiverr buyers—and it’s free! Fiverr Select benefits Fiverr Select buyers receive exclusive benefits and expert guidance to help grow their businesses. A seller can recognize a Fiverr Select buyer by the crown badge on a buyer’s Profile. The badge will appear on Fiverr Select buyers’ Profile pictures throughout Fiverr, too. This badge lets sellers know that they'll be working with a focused, committed, and experienced buyer. -
Looking forward to the progress of this thread. Thank you for sharing Mike!

I really don't know because I just use USD. You can ask Customer Support for that.
-
I'm not sure you can put your gig at 5 SGD. The lowest is $5 in USD then converted to your currency. Taking into account the fees below it typically is around $7.30 USD which is roughly around $9.70 SGD which is probably where your concern is coming from. https://www.fiverr.com/support/articles/360049646033-What-is-a-service-fee?segment=buyer Service fees are added at the time of purchase where a Buyer can review and accept the total amount requested to pay. These fees cover administrative fees. The service fee is charged on every payment made. If during your order you place the main purchase, then add a GigExtra, and then you tip the seller, each payment will include a service fee charge. Service fees are 5.5% of the purchase amount. For purchases under $50, an additional $2 small order fee will be applied.

Protect the sellers in milestone orders!
theratypist replied to linkbuilderphil's topic in Fiverr.com Feedback
I'm not necessarily blaming you, I'm just saying the technicalities of how milestones work. If it was supposed to continually work on its own, it shouldn't have been a milestone, and just a whole order in the first place. If you read the documentation of how Milestones work in the Help section, it really was intended not to continue on its own. Thus why the Fiverr CS has responded to you "the system is working as intended". And it really is working as intended unless you aren't receiving the funds for first 2 milestones you've completed. https://www.fiverr.com/support/articles/4414438601873-Milestones?segment=buyer Any potential confusion or delays can be prevented using Milestones—Milestone deliveries are always approved by you before the seller moves onto the next Milestone. Use this option for complex projects—and approve each project step. When should I use Milestones? We recommend using Milestones for bigger projects to allow for more flexibility in the smaller steps. Milestones offer you a reduced risk, and these per-task payments also give sellers the incentive to keep up the good work. -
Protect the sellers in milestone orders!
theratypist replied to linkbuilderphil's topic in Fiverr.com Feedback
Isn't a new milestone treated like a new order of sorts? The scope of the specific milestone should have been the only thing done and you just do the next scope until the payment for the next milestone is done. If you want to do the whole project ahead then you shouldn't have agreed to do the milestone project in the first place. I mean knowing the context of how a milestone could possibly not continue is while unfortunate, the reality of the situation. You should just avoid milestones the next time if it hasn't been working well for you / doesn't suit your work style. https://www.fiverr.com/support/articles/8427072174097-Milestone-FAQs?segment=seller When will I get paid? Once each Milestone is completed, you’ll get paid. In the past, sellers were paid only once an entire order was marked as completed. This is no longer the case, and you’ll be reimbursed per Milestone in each order. -
I'm no expert in voiceovers but I would be fine hearing this voice when I need guided meditation (which is the context in the example). I wonder how AI cloned voices fare in those voices that need more emotion? I think they work fine in stuff similar to guided meditation but I wonder how well they do in let's say voice characters... 😆 Although it's another discussion altogether if I'm talking to AI. Let's say I call Customer Service and its a robot/AI that's talking to me. Text/chat is fine but not sure about a whole conversation. But hey, maybe we'll all ease into it somehow? 🤣

I had done 1 month on fiverr but didn't get a single order
theratypist replied to wordpressdebug's topic in Gig Advice
You have one review which negates what you said above. There's a lot of competition in Fiverr, that's all. -
hahahaahhaha this made me laugh more than I should

A new day, new creator on fiverr
theratypist replied to mikaelmattsson's topic in New Member Introductions
Hello! Welcome to the forum. Here's a great post that will give you a couple of ideas on how to succeed on Fiverr. 😄 -
That's interesting, so its only Fiverr staff who sees the reported posts then? I guess it's understandable if that is the case.
-
How did they exactly state that you aren't eligible? This is the first time I've heard of someone not being eligible for that program.

The only thing you can do is wait for their decision. There is nothing you can do right now that will make the process go faster. Below is the official documentation regarding that in which it can make up to 90 days. https://www.fiverr.com/support/articles/360014585217-Disabled-accounts Two kinds of disabled accounts Restricted The account is temporarily restricted. The customer, either buyer or seller, can access the account, withdraw funds, complete ongoing orders, and review their order history. They cannot place or receive new orders, nor can they communicate with other customers through inbox messages. seller's Gigs will not show on the marketplace, and buyers will not be able to place new orders. Once an account is temporarily disabled, the customer needs to wait for the trial period (which can take upwards of 90 days) to be completed—to know if the account will be restored or permanently disabled. Customer Support can neither influence the result of this review nor can they update the customer on the review's end date. Permanently Disabled The account was disabled and will not be restored. When this happens, the customer cannot log into the account at all, and the reason it was disabled was due to a serious violation of our Terms of Service. Sellers with funds available for withdrawal will need to wait 90 days to withdraw, as described in our Terms of Service. Sellers will then receive an automatic email that allows them 7 days to withdraw the funds. Buyers can receive an immediate refund of any funds available on their Fiverr Balance.

Fiverr seller profile is not approved
theratypist replied to soomromansoor's question in Starter Questions
You failed the skill test, that already explains a lot of things. -
What does it look like when you press "become a seller"? Anyway, what you need is to be put up a service or a "gig" as it is called here on Fiverr. Here are the steps: https://www.fiverr.com/support/articles/360010451397-Creating-a-Gig

Fiverr suspended my access to support (My request Page)

So you are probably part of the reasons why Fiverr updated their community standards page to include that line in red above. 😅 Source: https://www.fiverr.com/community/standards/Product-abuse- 17 replies
