  1. Wow, I love people like her. Yes, as soon as I get things (income up a little more and more free time) I am going to go indoor rock climbing. I went through a divorce a few years back and it has been rough, but I will overcome. Thank you so much for the inspiration!
  2. I try to take care of myself. I hate going to a gym. So I don't pay for something that I know I will never use. I do like going for long walks, so that is the way I stay in shape. I like to dance also. I love karaoke and that gets me moving around all the time. I had been coming to my studio (which is located in my house) in my pajamas. I had to stop though because some of my customers wanted to do a zoom meeting and that stopped that. I needed to dress better and be more conscious of my appearance. I live on a farm and drive a tractor and there is plenty of grass and hay to cut. I try to eat plenty of fresh vegetables and only a small amount of meat. I am making some natto tomorrow which is excellent for the body. I believe that I missed out on my calling though, because I have been having this incredible urge to go rock climbing. Lol
  3. This little memory of my cousin Vickie came back to me. She got named "Vickie Bird". The reason was we were painting a house and a bird decided to dump his refuse right on her face. It was very embarrassing for her and from then on the boys told her that she would became known as Vickie Bird. Kids can be very crude sometimes.
  4. Hey Newsmaker, We all need Fiber, lol. Was this a typo? Just nitpicking.
  5. "The first rule is to keep an untroubled spirit. The second is to look things in the face and know them for what they are." By Marcus Aurelius- Co-Emperor of Rome
  6. Hi Theratypist, I was just curious about how you came up with your name. Can you enlighten everyone?
  7. I believe what matters most is not impressions, but the number of sales you actually make and the buyers that keep coming back. Your performance on each sale will dictate that.
  8. "You can't wait until life isn't hard anymore before you decide to be happy" by Jane Marczewski. Jane was a contestant on America's Got Talent. She won the golden buzzer from Simon. She had such a beautiful voice and very talented as a songwriter. Jane passed away in February 2022 of cancer. God bless you!
  9. This is not a quote. It is actually part of a poem, but I think it says so much and makes one think about their life. "They are not long, the days of wine and roses, Out of a misty dream Our path emerges for awhile, then closes within a dream." By Ernest Dowson
  10. Hey Newsmaker, an ace in the hole again. Lol
  11. I am not sure if this will help. Have you tried contacting Paypal? Maybe they could contact Fiverr and get things straightened out. Just a thought.
  12. You may need to refresh your site. I am going to get new photos made. I haven't done that in awhile. Maybe add new wording to my description. I think 5err likes for you to touch up your site more often. I have been working so much at my two jobs in addition to this one that it has been hard to find time, but I am going to make time this weekend. Also, you need to market yourself. Go to the library and get some marketing books or go online and read them, if you have a library card.
  13. Hi William, thank you so much for posting this. I have had two jobs and doing this part time. It has been very rough, but a couple months ago I reached Level 2 as a seller. I am going to let one of my jobs go and concentrate more on this. Hopefully, I can say good bye to my other full time job and get this seller level up to another level or at least get more sales.
  14. What has happened cannot be changed. Try to work with the buyer if that is possible. My motto is "Kill Them With Kindness". It will take some time to recover from the low rating and cancellation, but you can do it.
  15. Fiver likes for you and everyone on this site to respond promptly to buyers. That is everyone's lifeline. If you don't respond promptly, your response rate will drop and that tells buyers that this seller isn't someone that they would like to deal with if they need something done in a hurry. No matter what, respond promptly to all buyers.
  16. Yes, these are unusual times, though I feel that this is a direct yoyo effect of the plandemic.
  17. I have two sports that I love, swimming and hockey.
  18. Should any of us be very shocked or surprised at anything Bill Gates suggests? He is suppose to be a very intelligent person, but undoubtedly age or something really bad is happening to him. Could he be going through some kind of mental brain disorder?
  19. Posted yesterday at 06:47 AM lmao I have no idea where to begin. On 6/8/2022 at 10:01 AM, kendal1747 said: You get all your info from the internet and the movies and possibly fake news. You and newsmike are the only ones who have quoted from and discussed movies until now. Thanks for calling out. On 6/8/2022 at 10:01 AM, kendal1747 said: You are failing to see or won't see the fact that oil has been taken away from the US. Pipelines have been shut down. Biden has allowed more drilling. I don't see your point. Go thank him. It seems you're interested in the US only - while I'm concerned about the whole planet. It doesn't matter to me where the oil comes from. It shouldn't have to come at all. But wait for it. On 6/8/2022 at 10:01 AM, kendal1747 said: We are having to buy most from outside On 6/8/2022 at 10:01 AM, kendal1747 said: if they were we would not have to buy from Opec and other foreign countries. US exports more than it imports... Gross imports : 8.47 M barrels per day Gross exports : 8.63 M barrels per day Source: https://www.eia.gov/tools/faqs/faq.php?id=727&t=6 No one is forced to buy from OPEC or whoever. It's the same oil conglomerates raising prices and raking profits that keep trying to disparage renewable(s). So maybe, you should be speaking against them instead. Even if US was pumping more, they would simply export it to the EU and other russ-oil-gas importers. The prices will still rise. But I'm sure average people can't grasp the alternate reality. P.S. I'm done with this discussion. I've had a good laugh writing this one - but I won't be engaging on this topic anymore. Feel free to respond however you wish. Thanks & ciao. You can go to the government and take numbers, but are they true numbers? The United States was the top producer of oil before Biden shut down the oil supply lines. You think that did not hurt the world supply chain? it affects everything. Biden has put so many restrictions on drilling and permit after permit. Want to drill? Give us your bank account. Obama did the same thing. By the way, like Newsmaker said that Obama and his wife bought a house on Martha's Vineyard for several million dollars and if they are concerned about the climate change; why buy a house only a couple hundred yards from the ocean. They will get flooded, right? The icebergs are melting, so you better look out Obama. You will be washed away. You do not know what you are talking about. Yes, people will be forced to buy from Opec, Russia, wherever they can get it. It is the world's lifeline. Anything you use come from oil? Go look at the by-products made from oil. I am not the only one laughing at your posts. Obama shut down mines with no answer as to how these people would find other work. No one cared. I know I lived in that area. My father was a welder and kept 2 coke plants going. Go ahead and agree to go GREEN, you will find out just how much you will have to sacrafice with the aftermath and it isn't going to get any better, just wait until September. When I want a laugh, I will just read more of your laugh corner comments about the going Green deals.
  20. You get all your info from the internet and the movies and possibly fake news. You are failing to see or won't see the fact that oil has been taken away from the US. Pipelines have been shut down. We are having to buy most from outside. Your renewables as you call them are not producing squat. Stop arguing with nothing to prove your point. The greedy people in power are the ones you need to look at. Bill Gates isn't using a solar plane, neither is George Soros or John Kerry. But they jet around telling everyone else to stop using them. You just want to argue for the sake of it. Your renewables cannot produce enough, if they were we would not have to buy from Opec and other foreign countries. But you keep pumping your truths out. Makes you look real good.
  21. Yes and the problem we have is that there are so many people that actually believe all this junk. For one simple reason- the people that promote it are wealthy, prominent, people that have been in the limelight too long. Even the colleges and universities teach our children all this crap.
  22. You are right! I will only answer with yes, dear. I am not arguing with you anymore, but I will give one last statement. Going totally green=your gasoline price at the pump, your last grocery receipt. Just wait until the end of summer, groceries are expected to double. But Go Green.
  23. Yes, I copied it to show where you get all your information. Instead of sitting in front of your computer, go to the library for a very informative change. W does that stand for what or watt? So you finally see the connection? Wow! progress! When coal mines were shut down in this country, nothing was put in place to help alleviate the need for coal. NOTHING! 7%? Power all those cars on 7%. You are a joke. Needs to stop? Is that your lame answer for this? None of your statements gives any sensible answer for the problem. You go around and around. Give the books or magazines that you have taken this from. Really, then why did Al Gore make millions off this movie? If everybody knows that, then why did he actually get an award for these stupid statements? Why were his sales for the movie through the roof. Many people were listening! Tell me where these numbers were taken from.
  24. Or good old taxflation (Their personal nest eggs) Try reading about the people that you copied from and listen to. Many and one in particular, (AL Gore)made millions on the movie he did about global warming. He predicted that New York would be under a couple feet of water in 2012. That has not happened. Do your research! As far as people in the Amish community, they do live longer than we do. Read more than just your internet! YOu are going only to the internet. Genes? I have a relative that has lived twice longer than his parents, ( they did not die from coal) they died from abusing their bodies (alcohol, tobacco). He doesn't drink or smoke. I don't care what genes are passed on, you or anyone else can live longer if you eat right and limit alcohol and tobacco and drugs. He is a distant relative and celebrated his 86th birthday and he has other siblings that practice the same. You are listening to people that want to make millions off of the climate. WAKE UP! Wrong. Read up : #1 is -- Inspection at Every Step -- Organic food is more expensive in part because of the strict USDA Organic certification standards required on the farm, during transportation, and in production facilities. Labor is certainly an issue but so is unemployment. Use those furloughed coal mine workers in organic food facilities. The working conditions and pay are much-much better. Source: https://www.organicvalley.coop/blog/why-is-organic-food-more-expensive/ There you go back to the internet again. When will you get off that kick? No, organic farming does not pay more than the mines. The average miner starts out getting paid twice what an organic farm worker does. You don't know what you are talking about. I had a farm and I was told that I could join an organization called (Woof) and people traveling through my area would work for free on my organic farm. I just had to give them a place to sleep and clean up and 3 meals. Wrong! You are in a dream world. Wake up! Ask yourself what powers the other 93%? Look it up and not just on the internet! Go to a library. Yes, you and the powers that be want to cut coal completely without any sensible replacements and they did. Their answer was to go buy coal from other countries. That was real smart. I guess they look at the fact that those countries will absorb the smoke and we won't get it. LOL Those countries are pumping out coal smoke everywhere and don't care. You eventually get it when the wind comes your way. It probably is not as strong, but you still get it. You can't power the whole country on 7%. You are wrong about powering electric cars. They are recharged at stations that are powered by fossil fuels.
  25. You need to get your theories in place. Nothing you say makes much sense. You Hydroelectricity is not powering any vehicles. Solar is a temporary provider of power. In the north, sometimes you do not get the sun for many days. They cannot self charge the batteries for the electric cars. They are not self charging electric batteries AT ALL! You are not very informed about any of this. You show no proof of your viable options. Your electric car theory of self charging will not happen for decades. There are many people in third world countries that farm exactly the way I said. Where, do you live anyway, apartment, under a rock maybe? You are dreaming. Labor is the number one problem for organic farmers. Wrong again. Don't just take for granted what you read on the internet is correct. How do Amish people live over 10 years longer than average without paying and getting the benefits of Medicare or Medicaid? Is there a health care model we could emulate?
