  1. The shoulder bags of this type have limited design possibilities in terms of structure. The seller has a point: The bag style is common; however, the shape and placement of pockets are different enough that you aren't being scammed. I have a bag that looks almost identical to this, with slight differences in the design. You cannot fault the seller due to all "bags look similar" but if you are taking about artwork, then you will have a stronger case.
  2. If it is identical. Yes, you will get a refund. Contact the Customer Support team.
  3. Is it just me, or does it not make sense for you to deliver anything for the next two days? (The extended 8 days review period for the year's end) Just saying. I delivered anyways.

  5. Other than some concerns about copyright and stock photos, which I do not share, I think your gig image is fine. December has been a slow month for many of us due to the holiday period and it took me over six months to get sales organically. It's your first month here, just stick around long enough and pick up some sales, reviews and good feedback from your buyers. You will grow from there.
  6. Quite pleased. I hesitated for months... Happy New Year~ Everyone
  7. This seems to suggest that everything on Fiverr works according to an algorithm that does not take into account human factors. Imagine: Day 1 - 10 (you have order on day 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 & 10) (30 days) - (60 days) - (90 days & cycle renew) New cycle Day 1-8, you got the promoted function. You lost it on day 9 and got it back on day 10. Does this make sense to you? The algorithm used by Fiverr is a confidential process, it's likely to be the combination of order quantity, public and private reviews, skill test results and average selling price etc. It simply makes no sense to give the promoted gig feature to a seller in the same category selling $5 when some other seller is selling $20. At some point, we all need to up our fees.
  8. This is the number one rule. I recommend that you reactivate the translation gig; I think it has great potential for converting and stimulating your account's recovery. I think you are going through a true gig rotation like I did.
  9. How long was this for you, @strategist_ceo? It was over 90 days. In my opinion, this period was true gig rotation (imo) because any description updates or new orders that came in one after another by a regular customer did not increase my impression count at all. My promoted gig feature was removed and the 17-18 gigs was bringing in around 100-200 impressions per week (never hit 300 per week). For that 3 months, I earned less than $500 combined. I did not have any arguments with clients, and everything was going smoothly. In fact, the two months before that, I had seen a drastic increase in revenue. I thought to myself "finally!". Suddenly, the promoted feature came back... my impression count went over 1,000++, and then 2,000++ on the second day. It continued to increase to over 15,000++ impressions per week* without me making a single sale or updating my gigs for over a month. Now I am doing better than before, like much much better. My gig descriptions unchanged, my price went up etc.
  10. I believe that any negativity imposed by a bad review can be negated by positive ones. The solution may be to make the gig active, deliver good work, and get positive reviews. If I were you, I would activate the gig and update it slightly so that it will get recrawled and potentially get a short boost.
  11. You did not receive any bad public reviews... why did you think you received a really bad private one? I think you were not deranked due to a bad private review. You were affected by a gig rotation, which happened to me as well. I didn't even get any bad reviews, but my average 10k impressions dropped to around 10, despite me making the greatest sale since I began working here on fiverr (in terms of quantity and revenue). I had a low impression for about ninety days, despite the changes I made. Just when I thought I should leave Fiverr, everything seems to be improving again and was on an upward trajectory (it's been 4 months since my recovery). It is now "stable" for me. I see that you are providing virtual assistance services. Have you considered retaking the Virtual Assistant Skill Test? Your score is just 6.5/10. This may be a reason why the algorithm doesn't like you as much. Also, taking the English language test is recommended.
  12. When you return, the work will be a little slower to pick up, but if you continue to do good work as before, it will soon recover.
  13. I saw a post recently complaining that there are too many briefs. Rather than complaining about it, have you noticed that changes have been made to the gig profile itself? If you go to "edit gig," you will see more customization in the subcategories.
  14. Those are real orders. It is also something that we can use to speculate who the resellers are, although Fiverr doesn't really care for those for the services of my class. I spend between 25-30 hours on one plan, so I know the approximate workload of a honest seller. I recently saw a seller who had 41 ques with an average delivery time set of 3-5 days. I know of these sellers by the number of buyers who come to me for a rewrite.
  15. Actually, this means that you are doing fine. You may not be experiencing gig rotation, but rather just bad luck and that December is a slow month because of Christmas and New Year.
  16. The impact of a bad review depends on how damaging it is and whether you have been doing a good job. It is not the end of the world. My third review was a 2.3 star rating, and I though my fiverr career was over. I gave an honest review as to what happened and also a detailed response to his bad review, and received more work + reviews afterwards. Avoid giving argumentative, short, vague responses to negative reviews; give thorough and thoughtful responses. I believe that if you are an honest seller and display integrity, customers will recognize this and be more likely to order from you. While I was disheartened when that buyer gave me a 2.3-star review, I now have over 200+ reviews and am doing just fine. I am more selective with which clients I work with, and avoid working with buyers who cannot communicate well. And this is just 1 day: Since I received the 2.3 star rating, I have been selective in the jobs that I take. While I don't get a lot of work for many many months, the algorithm has grown to love me more over time and this has worked out okay for me. The algorithm seems to love me just fine. Be aware of the obvious landmines when communicating with buyers. You don't need to work with all of them. It may not be a good idea to take the above advice at first glance. Buyers are a fact of life for sellers, but an unhappy customer can lead to negative feedback and an algorithmic penalty against your account. By turning away "bad" customers, you may be able to avoid this situation entirely. I am sure there are some sellers who can serve those buyers better.
  17. If you have done the work according to the specifications, and the buyer cannot prove otherwise, then the customer support should back you up. Contact customer support. And yes, good advise here: But do know, you may get a negative review.
  18. I did not know that writing "personal statement" for university admissions violated the Terms of Service. I had a "personal statement for refugees, asylum seekers" writing gig once... it got removed too. Perhaps all services involving writing a "personal statement" are not welcomed here.
  19. I'm wondering if anyone else feels that the data on the app (I'm an Android user) seems a little strange? It seems like my "earnings in December" are off, and I can't find any cancellations.
  20. Get a visa debit (or master debit card) from your bank. You made a purchase as recent as two months ago; what happened since then?
  21. You can cancel the order and block him. He will not be able to review you. Your algorithm will be affected for 60 days (or so); check your inbox daily to see if there are any "break thru". You will recover just fine. Fiverr is not a good fit for long-term projects. If you really have to, consider setting up milestones so that you can receive periodic payments for every X% of work completed. Both you and your client can end the working relationship at each milestone.
  22. Looks like the spammers found a way to exist! You are providing SEO services. The briefs from different IDs show that the briefs/match works. Make sure they are not scammers and reply to just one.
