  1. Undoubtedly, customer service can sometimes appear one-sided. However, I have managed to challenge unfair situations and achieve successful outcomes, such as being reimbursed by Fiverr for a wrongful cancellation. Upon examining your 1-star review, it is evident that both parties have their respective viewpoints. It seems the client attempted to "lowball" you, and instead of communicating your unavailability or inability to accept the offered price, you chose to block them. Addressing concerns with Fiverr's customer service can be demanding, particularly when attempting to achieve resolution in the seller's best interest. The common use of preformatted replies may amplify the challenge. However, through diligent communication and the provision of evidentiary support, such as screenshots, a just outcome can be attained. In one instance, I encountered customer service representative(s) who displayed an unwarranted level of assertiveness and were unwilling to amend my performance metrics following an unjustified cancellation within a ticket. However, upon raising a separate, unrelated concern, another customer service representative resolved the issue without me asking.
  2. I was going to express my concerns on: Until I scroll up and saw: JFK That victim mentality It is not uncommon for someone to feel "offended on behalf of others," and she certainly has the right to voice her concern. While my ratings and reviews have been generally positive, this update still caused me concern, prompting me to come into the forum to take a look at the opinions of others. However, I also view this as an opportunity. I take pride in delivering honest work and find it disconcerting that many "top-rated sellers" or "level two sellers" handle over 20 orders simultaneously, knowing that the end product requires 30-40 hours of effort. Realistically, it's impossible for someone to accept more than 5 orders (assuming they don't sleep) and deliver within a week. This "cancellation" review may help to expose dishonest sellers. Lately, I've noticed an increase in buyers with over 10 reviews ordering my basic gig ($50) and demanding the level of work I provide for standard or premium gigs. As long as I can communicate with customer service and present evidence to remove any potential fake reviews, I don't foresee a problem.
  3. Well, I just got this after I did this: I do not understand why buyers sometimes expect sellers to be mild-mannered and submissive when they are trying their best to be rude.
  4. I am stating probability. Since you are confident, would you like me to report this suspicion to the customer service team? I do not intend to do so, but I will if you insist.
  5. I do not worry about forum warnings, as I know we all have the right to say what needs to be said. Who else can we mention this to in private? It is not like we know who the moderators are. I don't see how his values align with those of what Fiverr expect from it's sellers, and he is a top-rated seller, no less.
  6. What happens when a seemingly corrupted leader moderates this process? (You need to see the leadership team of that club to know how corrupted it is). Again, my opinion. I have a problem with anyone who believes that the culture of an entire country is responsible for the corruption of this practice or violations.
  7. I think that the clean house will occur periodically. The company will need to keep up with its public image as a publicly traded company, and I think it is expanding "upmarket" which will help push up its stock price as well, which is good news for honest sellers.
  8. I don't know, but it seems to suggest "fake orders". Okay, found it.
  9. The story was that their family had prohibited them from working on fiverr, and they would return within a month. Maybe... this explains it: They are now selling "account recovery services", with a star seller on Instagram.

  11. I was a $5 seller just two years ago. I must not have been doing very well to experience what he is going through. The stars must had come together to make it happen, for a level 0 seller, to have at least 4 repeat buyers coming back at the same time, and to cancel all orders... right after the scare. (Correction: I am still a $5 seller for translations; I hope to experience the same.)
  12. I believe in probability. The reviews are "paid", technically if you pay me $100. I can review you 9-10 times ($5 + admin fee) over a period of 150 days (of clearance cycle), there are such packages that are purchased for long term engagement. The timing for cancellation is just obvious, given that fiverr is banning so many accounts. The timing for the order's cancellation is obvious, given that fiverr is banning so many accounts. I have never had so many repeat customers at the same time. Of these repeat customers, at least four are individual buyers (4/11). Of course, I will agree that probability does not always equal certainty.
  13. I can be wrong but I believe the likelihood of having so many order at the same time from repeat buyers (all 4 is repeat buyers) is not likely, especially for a level 0 seller. Of the list of orders, 3 of them are also "sellers" who have a single gig. All the repeat purchase was spaced one month apart (yes, I have too much time to visit their account). The time between each purchase is to allow payment to clear in the system. Plus the timing. I was thrown off by looking at the sales per order; however, I realized that there are quotas to meet before becoming a Level Two seller.
  14. If he already has an account that is verified by his personal ID and is being paid through the same bank account, then it will be difficult to register another account without being detected by Fiverr, who will be able to tell which IP address belongs to which device. I don't see how this can happen tho :-)
  15. In theory, no. However, Fiverr reserves the right to not allow too many sellers of the same category. It seems to be happening too.
  16. I believe that a family of 100 sellers who have the same expertise can be treated as one hundred seller accounts. However, if all 100 sellers use the same bank information, the same identification for verification and even the same IP address (this is impossible, different PCs connected to the same Wi-Fi will have different IP addresses) then it should be a fair game to get banned. The question is whether every single family member used their own ID to verify the account. Is everyone getting paid differently? Did they stay online using different devices and IP addresses (note: different devices = different IP addresses, so it's impossible for two account to share the same IP address)?
  17. You have delivered to the best of your ability. I don't think you need to worry.
  18. I always tell my clients that we should get this order done before the next one. In truth, I prefer working on short-term projects here on Fiverr, as they keep me interested in my work and I don't have to "rely" on any one buyer.
  19. Do not break orders into smaller orders, as this gives the buyer too much leverage to leave multiple negative reviews instead of just one (very damaging to your "perceived algorithm" on the platform). Milestone orders have a huge weakness because they require the buyer to manually approve each milestone before the next step can be taken, and this can become unpleasant. I recommend a single "consultation" order and follow up order (to be created only after the first order is "accepted" and that the delivery time of the second order will exceed the "review period" of the first *if not reviewed) of whatever the client needs.
