  1. I have turned away more than half of those who seek my service on Fiverr, providing honest opinions that they do not have a chance at getting a bank loan or that they have unrealistic expectations. Of almost all the clients I serve, I send all of them into research and getting back to me with real-world information and statistics about themselves. My screening of clients has made my work more impactful to those who engage in my service (one client went on to get over 2 mil in funding), but I know that my rigorous screening process is hurting my business. I am wondering if it would be better to cut back on the screening and just do business. Are there any sellers picking on potential buyers, knowing full well that it's hurting their chances of landing new cases? Do they have an ethical obligation to ensure their work is impactful? (I ponder) Not only that, but this would hurt your seller's algorithm.
  2. I have mixed experience on this. I had two cancellation so far, both cancellations happened because the buyer made a purchase of a service that is impossible to fulfill (one is a translation of unreadable text and the second is because the buyer purchased a service that they don't qualify *that service is a niche, provided to a very specific and certified businesses only). The first one didn't affect my completion rate and I just got the second cancellation ten minutes ago, my completion rate is already down. Both orders have the same condition, the buyer didn't submit the order requirements and I didn't click "I have all that I need", the order shouldn't be considered to have started in the second case. If the first cancellation that happened under the same circumstances and didn't affect my statistics, I don't understand why the second one is. 😂
  3. Apparently this is still happening. Has anyone resolved this problem?
  4. Does anyone know if the auto-complete of order is 3 or 8 days? (for milestones order)
  5. I will certainly tell people if it’s good (or bad). Watch this space?
  6. I think it will make sense to offer Seller Plus to those who actively have a # orders within a period of time? It makes sense to offer only to those who have over $10 (or $20) in balance. I am also curious if they will accept many sellers who aren’t able to communicate in English properly. They are in need the most.
  7. I took the advice. I removed 6 of my gigs. I modified my best performing gig and my main gig. I’m very nervous. I expect a period of low impressions, as the gig “index” itself… Very nervous.
  8. You’re probably late. I think the invitation was for people who responded to this thread, earlier on.
  9. I’m afraid I have to disagree. I have been here since 2017, and my success manager gave me genuine guidance that I can use. Also, the TOS of seller plus says: All consultation and education shared in the course of the Seller Plus Program by the Seller Success Manager is personalized for a specific Seller in a specific time frame; please avoid sharing any information you receive from the Seller Success Manager with others nor relying solely on this information. So is what you shared breaking Seller Plus TOS? I plan to keep the subscription if it stays at $20 per month. If Fiverr raises it then, I will have to think about that. I removed that comment although I don’t think I disclose any actual advice. Everything I mentioned was in the scope. Still. 😅
  10. Your profile is enviable. He (or she) won’t be able to give the same advice he gave to me (to you)… I will stay on to see if there is any additional value (since this is new), if I’m not making a loss from the monthly orders and to have a friend when I face difficult clients?
  11. 🙈 removed. Thanks for the reminder @vickiespencer
  12. Quite strange that most of the buyers speak yoruba. But what I dont understand is that their only first part is like this, rest is plain normal english. Why just the first few words in the language you are saying? I also never, but for some reason I went and saw these annoying requests. Left the page without submitting one offer even. I did not understand what you meant. Agree. They want a whole movie in 5 USD. I wonder from where do these people come from? 😂 Logo design is under “graphic design / etc”… but under “business service → others”, there is also a huge demand for logo design (for some reason). I read somewhere that says that many buyers are unsure which category is “right” for their needs, so they end up posting on “others”.
  13. I think it should be okay. At the end of the day, if you’re not cheating and you’re honest, I don’t see a problem with that.
  14. Sometimes sharing email is necessary for some gigs, such as helping to manage google ads & creating a website contact us form. You can share email, after the order has been made.
  15. Oh… I think he will be banned for that. I offered a “proofreading” gig for business school assignment and specifically mentioned that I will not write their work. Even that was flagged by the Fiverr team… I didn’t get any warning, because it was never active. The CS told me specifically if I write an education assignment for anyone, I will be banned.
  16. I think they haven’t decided. Maybe it just happened? You need to get the first warning before the “on trial” to happen.
  17. This is illegal on Fiverr. The buyer gives you a rating, you have to accept… If you feel unjustified, you can “reply” to their review but never ask them to change it. You can’t do anything now, but take note next time. Don’t worry, it’s just something you need to remember… I wouldn’t had know if I didn’t read the forum as well.
  18. That’s strictly forbidden. You’re not even allowed to mention a rating, let alone make your buyer feel bad about the rating they gave you. Fiverr sees it as review manipulation. Nobody on the forum can know that. It’s for Fiverr to decide. Nobody on the forum knows that, either. You’ll have to wait for their decision. catwriter: Nobody on the forum can know that. It’s for Fiverr to decide. It will be reactivated with a warning and probably back to a “New Seller” rank… until you meet the criteria again. As for how long, like @catwriter mentioned… no one knows. If you have an active order, though, I believe you can contact customer service for leniency.
  19. This is why your account is under review and restricted, the buyer that you ask for the review / rating, reported on you.
  20. I had a similar problem recently. I registered “number A” with “FIVERR I”, disabled “FIVERR I” because I had a bad profile name. I started “FIVERR II” and “number A” isn’t available to use anymore… I used “number B” for “FIVER II” temporarily, thinking customer service will be able to fix it. I contacted FIVERR customer service, they reactivate “FIVERR I” so I can “change number A to another number”… but I don’t have a third number, so it can’t be done. The same applies to both email and phone numbers. You need to replace the old number (or email) with another, to be able to use the number you want.
