  1. I provide a service requiring approximately forty hours of my time. I previously charged $180 for this service, which I believe was necessary for anyone to grow in this platform and gain some reviews for potential buyers to buy from you at higher fees in the future. I was one of the earliest subscriber to plus at that time, and the mentor asked me to further reduce my price to approximately $30. He directed me to a URL of an "established" seller from a third world country and pointed out that I am competing with sellers like that... Poor advice and so I unsubscribed. Assuming an absence of racism, I will assume that he also believes that low prices are effective for first gaining reviews and making your account appear trustworthy.
  2. With persistence and a few follow-ups, you will reach a live person... HAHAHA!!!
  3. Ah, I didn't read properly. It's 4AM, I need to sleep.
  4. Add the thumbnail picture into your video and set it as the preview. 1. Edit Gig, go to Gallery and click the icon as shown below: 2. Play the video to the marked thumbnail and set it as a preview image.
  5. Than you are not working as per Fiverr's term of service. What's your problem?
  6. Yes. (My opinion) Many people may disagree, but it really depends on how you think the algorithm works. If the algorithm is context-sensitive, meaning it considers everything about your profile, then it might be important. I guess that the algorithm may be something like: (100%) 5% Skill test 5% Fiverr Learn (do the freelance course) 20% Gig completeness (content, tags, subscription enabled, FAQ) 30% Buyer's feedback (public and private) 10% Overall of the above 30% Most recent sales (Not affected by any of the above) / I believe that if you are constantly making sales, your algorithm will stay afloat no matter what. I liken this to boiling water, as long as it doesn't cool down (selling within a certain period of time), you will continue to get the love from the algorithm.
  7. If he is ready to place an order, what is the problem?
  8. I like to work on high floors with a view; I don't mind whether my view is of the ocean or mountains, or of a concrete jungle as long as it's not distracting.
  9. I maintain a playlist of music from a variety of genres, including kpop, thai music, chinese music, japanese music and english. My preference leans towards upbeat dancey music that helps to keep me alert while working. KPOP JPOP (Oldies) UK Pop Thai Music
  10. We would like to have a "mute" function that could be used to silence certain users (buyers / sellers) so we do not receive notifications from them. In some cases, there are buyers and sellers I would like to continue doing talking with but who are driving me crazy with their repeated check-ins before, during, and months after completing an order. I don't mind receiving their text. It's just that I don't want to keep hearing the notification sounds from some of these folks. Believe it or not, I got an invitation to a wedding.
  11. If it was part of the original order and you did not get the editable file, you can contact customer support and say that your order was incomplete. Unfortunately, I think the seller is within his rights to not honor those revisions. Anyway, most sellers who do Photoshop can trace the artwork to work on.
  12. Ade due damballa. Give me the power I beg of you. Secoise entienne mais pois de morte. Morteisma lieu de vocuier de mieu vochette. Endonline pour de boisette damballa! Secoise entienne mais pois de morte. Endelieu pour de boisette damballa!!! (x4)
  13. You make a good point. It's important to be clear about what you're offering, as well as how you'll bill for your work. If you offer a "custom" service, people shouldn't expect to receive a "template." And if you bill for 40 hours of work, it's only fair for you to clock those hours one way or another.
  14. Actually, it should appear... click on "Orders" to see if you have any "Active" or "Missing Details".
  15. I know exactly how you feel. This happened to me too, and although it may seem unfair, there's nothing wrong with you (or Fiverr). Some spammers may have contacted you while you were asleep, and many people report "spam"; as a result, the messages are moved to the "spam" folder. Maybe you didn't notice? I asked customer service about this before, and they actually gave me the ID of the people that I didn't respond to. They are all in the spam folder that I missed. Still, many people can keep up with the response rate, so you can't complain.
  16. Yes, I had to read through the posts a couple of times to see if there was anything I was misunderstanding. In your post you said, "custom" vs "template"; I think it is easy to prove in the communications between both of you. I just learned from Vickie how careful she is when she sends offers. She makes sure to lay out all the details that have been discussed... something I never thought of doing, and probably will continue to neglect until something comes along to teach me a lesson.
  17. Nice gigs, add more tags below
  18. Gig description too short Not effectively using tags Profile description too vague I like your artwork tho
  19. You get my point for pointing it out. 1/100. Once you accumulate 100/100 points from me, you will be monetized on the forum.
  20. JFC. Why do you ask this question when you are the one who calls yourself a SEO content writer?!
