  1. This could be a problem for Fiverr en masse, should they continue to starve their best sellers.
  2. It seems that a good number of us are experiencing the same slump. Out of curiosity, what was the approximate date you fell off the cliff? Curious if there was an adjustment to algo that whacked us all at the same time. I was hit between Jan 30th-Feb 6th, when my daily impressions dropped from 5,000 to 100. Been crap ever since and SM has no real answers or help. Anyone else on the same timeline? Like @leannelrivers said, thankfully, Fiverr is a small part of my business.
  3. So the unintended consequence of trying to elevate the weight of first time buyer reviews may be that experienced sellers stop working with them all together, relegating them to the meksells.
  4. Interesting that we now have a "request to order" feature.
  5. I always say, "I'm sorry but we don't discount work, but there are lots of new sellers here who would be happy to work with you. Good luck."
  6. Yeah, but who's fault is that? Damned near every store I shop in asks if I want to save 5% on today's purchase by applying for their credit card...which is 22% apr.
  7. They will sit on the fence. You want to get there so hopefully they will not cancel if he asks them. Your job now is to continue to politely say (every time he asks), Yes, I'll be happy to do that and here's how much it will cost. You have to be more stubborn than him.
  8. So you should reject his refund request. I would report this to CS, tell them that he is threatening you with a cancellation of you don't provide free work outside the scope of what he purchased. Not perfect, but better to be first to CS.
  9. Why would you not just sell him additional revisions?
  10. You say "most." How are you able to gather this sort of insight into the hundreds of thousands of gigs that would have suffered that fate? Do you mean each time you make one it disappears?
  11. So you are saying it is only overpriced by $2,499,995. I tend to agree, as it would burn for heat the next time we blow up Nordstream.
  12. I'll politely counter that argument with one word: Rothko. Would you pay $2.5M for this? Some dope did.
  13. Many would have opted for this:
  14. Nothing better than getting approval from the Vickies:
  15. Generally most messages describe to some point what they want. I don't recall someone asking for a quote without doing so. But I assume you cold always say, "Hi, tell me what you are looking for and I'll be happy to advise."

    Help

Do you not recognize the problem with rewarding those who are breaking the rules of TOS? I'm sure they won't burn you later on when your delivery sucks. They will only break that first rule.
  17. If you are speaking in terms of business, writing is absolutely necessary. Memories fade conveniently when it's time to pay up, and then you gotta call the collection agency:
  18. Scientists aim to create AI from human brain cells: ‘New frontier’ The technology has come to be known as OI, or “organoid intelligence,” and scientists have already achieved success in “programming” organic materials. In October, scientists in Australia linked a dish of 800,000 living brain cells to a computer, successfully teaching it to play the 1970s video game Pong. https://nypost.com/2023/02/28/ai-could-be-created-with-our-own-brain-cells/
  19. You should use with caution. Here's an NBC story reporting on the inaccuracy of ChatGPT. https://www.nbcnewyork.com/investigations/fake-news-chatgpt-has-a-knack-for-making-up-phony-anonymous-sources/4120307/
  20. Here's a bunch of Top Rated Sellers who can help you. https://www.fiverr.com/search/gigs?query=vectorize&source=drop_down_filters&ref_ctx_id=63ff7de47b0cd0db59ae949f17bedfce&search_in=everywhere&search-autocomplete-original-term=vectorize&ref=seller_level%3Atop_rated_seller
  21. Despite using AI to fake your English proficiency, this is how you actually write. "As specialist of above mention skills, I am here to help you with all your projects." Please don't lie.
  22. Cancel the order. No excuse for that.
  23. Rather than asking us you may want to ask the potential buyer. I am a VO artist and routinely order VO's from other sellers when I need an additional voice for a project.
