  1. Some club owners/leaders never set them up for message threads, which is a bit silly, I think. I joined one and there's simply no way to post. What's the point?
  2. Why does this matter exactly? Just do your best with every buyer and your average will go up over time. Also... WOW! I looked at your profile and the response you gave to the person who rated you lower. That is wildly unprofessional! If I were a potential buyer of children's book illustrations, there is no way I'd work with you after seeing that.
  3. Begging people for order is not the way to do business. What have you done in three years to improve?
  4. People who do not respect your time or prices are less likely to respect your efforts, skills, and rules about revision requests, etc. Many buyers DO prioritize low prices over quality. These are not the type of buyers you want. There are also many that are willing to pay reasonable rates for high-quality services. If you offer them, stick to your prices.
  5. No, you cannot. Fiverr STAFF just answered and said they couldn't do it. Why would you come along and then say they could?
  6. What you say makes sense, but it would be great if Fiverr could actually verify the specifics.
  7. @Noam.Arik What exactly is new about the policy? It is unclear. It looks like the same thing we've always had (ability to set availability, not take new messages, leave a note for contact, etc.) Also, what does won't "necessarily" impact you mean?
  8. I'm still not sure what is actually new about this. We could always set availability, have our gigs hidden, a notification on the gig, a message to potential buyers, and decide whether we could get contacted or not. None of that is new. Is the 'it won't necessarily impact you' new? That doesn't sound new at all either. It did absolutely impact us before, but it still really sounds like it might. WHAT is new about this? There are tons of people saying that it's such a great change, so someone must understand.
  9. This is a video about graphic designers and AI. You can learn things from it.
  10. Oh dear. This is exactly what ChatGPT says when you ask for up-to-date information. Not only are you using AI without revealing that (per Fiverr rules), but you can't even read what you posted. How is this supposed to help anyone? To the OP: Fiverr evaluates on the 15th of every month.
  11. These kinds of questions are moot. AI is here to stay and it's only going to get better. One essential trait of any successful freelancer is the ability to adapt to changing markets, tech, etc.
  12. There is no way to look for buyers or contact them on the Fiverr platform. You can, of course, expand your business off Fiverr and bring buyers here to your gigs. (Do NOT point Fiverr buyers elsewhere, however. That is against TOS.)
  13. I've looked over that page and can't quite figure out what's different. Could you specify? Also, what does "your visibility will not necessarily be negatively impacted" mean? That sounds like it could absolutely still be negatively impacted just like it was all along. What has changed there?
  14. That's a great buyer for sure! Never happened to me, but extra tips after delivery are always nice. Asking for discounts or quoting an extremely low budget right... grrr. They see my prices on my gig. Why would they think I'd write 40,000 for $30? Had that one just the other day.
  15. I was raised that it was rude to ask people for their income levels. Isn't it rather weird to want data about someone else's finances? What would this information do for you? Maybe I'm the odd one out.
  16. Isn't there something in the TOS about contacting people ONLY if you want to buy their services? You've read it, right? PLEASE do not contact other sellers begging for work. It's really annoying and unprofessional.
  17. None of this makes sense for how Fiverr functions. There is no proposal process and what are 'connect points?'
  18. This has existed for over two years. Keep in mind you have to pay 'interest' on the loan.
  19. Review their instructions and any files they sent. Then, I click my auto 'thanks for the order' message and add anything (questions, specific information, etc.) to it. Then, I put the job on my schedule and carry on working.
  20. If you delivered the order, there's no need to do anything. The order will automatically complete. You could send them a message on the order thanking them and reminding them you'll revise if they need it (if you offer revisions), but you should do that kind of thing when you send the delivery. There's no need to do anything now. I really don't understand comments about resolution center, etc. The order is delivered and done. What is there to resolve?
  21. Absolutely not. There should be more quality controls around here, not fewer. I know how frustrating it is to wait for TRS; I had to wait quite a while myself. The platform and buyer benefit when they truly have quality service providers at the top level, and that helps all of us.
  22. I never quite understand how people can have one-hour response time averages unless they never sleep or, I suppose, if they only get one contact a week and it happens to come during the day. Mine is always longer and I very rarely have a potential buyer tell me they went with someone else who was available more quickly... like maybe once per year. Sleep is good. It's healthy. Everyone should have the opportunity to sleep a reasonable amount with it causing huge stress. Just answer as soon as you're able to and relax.
  23. PLEASE do not do this. It's against the rules to contact people here for reasons other than ordering services. Plus, top-rated sellers aren't here to teach you how to run your business (unless they offer those services, of course!) You are allowed to have multiple skills and offer them all on Fiverr. Also, listen to Breals.
  24. An 'incomplete' order that hasn't started can sit on your dashboard forever. I've had some languishing for 2+ years in the past. CS told me that I'd have to request cancellation and it should not count against my order completion percentage. If it did for some reason, just contact them and they'd take care of it. The 'Request to Order' feature Visualstudios is talking about is a Seller Plus feature you can turn on and off at will.
  25. You absolutely are. You can leave negative reviews, feedback, and low ratings for the sellers or buyers you interact with through orders. Same as Amazon (although the comparison is a bit wild as they're very different types of platforms.)
