  1. I would focus on what the prospect mentioned about you “switching” and being “rude”. Based on your demeanor on the forum thus far, I can see it as being a legitimate complaint from the buyer and not a wild accusation. So just because someone’s budget isn’t in line with your rate, you shouldn’t treat them differently. If anything it’s your responsibility to anchor your pricing early in the conversation instead of chatting for a day or two before you see if this is a good fit. Being rude to people on Fiverr is how one loses their level and/or account.
  2. I am just going to briefly touch upon your response as this is now off-topic: -you may not think your gigs are identical, I guarantee you that Fiverr’s AI thinks so. -you keep mentioning increased revenue, so even if you didn’t mean to, you are definitely over promising and you will have difficulty managing expectations -stick to the one thing you are good at. SEO and managing ads are not the same and it’s improbable that you are excellent at both. -you make a -rather bold- recommendation that people should buy your $400 package. You directly state it is “recommended”. With the lack of tryst signals on your profile the chances of that happening is slim. Focus on the one thing you do well and try to offer more condensed versions of your services to limit pricing as much as possible. The way you are presenting your services right now will most likely not lead to much.
  3. OK so something doesn’t add up. So first of all, you can’t compare your account to that of TRS ones. Secondly if you think you know why they are performing well, let me tell you that your assumptions are mostly wrong. I took a quick look at your profile and here are some issues at random order: you claim to be an SEO specialist yet you offer no SEO services. You have two duplicate gigs. Your offerings are too high priced for your vertical and for your trust signals. Your profile’s description is a bit of a mess. You are trying too hard. Focus on one thing you can do really well. Of it’s Facebook ad management then you shouldn’t position yourself as an expert at something else. Offer proof of your expertise or set proper expectations. I wouldn’t buy from you when your description is trying so hard to convince me to spend $400 so you can manage my ads and I can get more revenue. How will that happen? What’s your process? Have you had success? So many questions you need to be answering through your presentation. I could go on for hours. To cut this short: seo and tags is not your problem. Your product is your main problem.
  4. Not sure what the issue you are referring to is. i replied to that member’s quote, did you read my answer? Is your issue that people appear ahead of you?
  5. That's most definitely a scam. And also, just to point it out, this is why taking orders outside of Fiverr isn't safe.
  6. OK let me cut this interaction short, by agreeing to what you want: you are not wrong. Carry on.
  7. Forum members: Sellers and buyers, plus a handful of Fiverr staff members who are kind enough to participate. Forum moderators: 3 paid staff members, 6 volunteer forum members (only 3 of them actively moderate anything), plus the forum's Admin. Pro editorial team: Fiverr staff. FBM editorial team: Fiverr staff. Fiverr editorial team: Fiverr staff. Seller Success Managers: (Believe it or not) Fiverr staff.
  8. Either you are phrasing this statement wrong, and you mean something else, or you have a really bad source of information. I am here if you need any clarification as to who is doing what, as you are spreading false information if you are implying that moderators are part of the seller plus program and are also saying if you can make it as a Pro seller. Maybe the fact that I am vocal about my mission to help elevate the marketplace and involvement in several internal projects is what made you think that moderators are part of the process? @williambryan392 "Trust, but verify". No part of the above statement is even remotely true.
  9. I meant the buyer insights feature, not the events/clubs one.
  10. This is a rare occurrence of people saying I was right about something. 🙂 I am going to write a topic about how to best utilize the buyer insights, as it feels like people are itching to misuse this new powerful feature.
  11. That's actually because that's an order they placed with me. For orders they placed on Fiverr in general, the data is more strict. It's between $25-$50, between $51-100 and over $100. So I don't think that's as invasive as you think it is. Also, I just remembered: buyers will have the option to opt-out either completely or just select which indicators get shown/remain hidden.
  12. Maybe you should contact support. (both to voice your concerns and ask where to opt out) I can't seem to find it on the buyer side of things. Read more about it here.
  13. Buyers are aware of the feature, and to the best of my knowledge it is an opt-out. From what the team in charge of this effort shared with me, this feature spent quite a bit of time with Fiverr's legal team. In my opinion, there's nothing that's being shared that's hurting buyers. It promotes transparency and it benefits both sides. The very first version of the feature revealed A LOT more information, but seems like it was modified to make sure no laws are broken and that buyers won't feel like this is an invasion of privacy.
  14. So you don't have the actual insights feature, it's a way to show you what you will be getting if you enroll.
  15. Even though I was the first seller to see this feature still in its early mockup months ago, I wasn't included in the early test runs. But yesterday it seems my inbox UI was updated, and today I just started seeing the infamous buyer insights feature I have been teasing for ever! Something tells me that being a part of seller plus, just got even more enticing! A huge thank you to Amir and his team for all their hard work! 🙂
  16. Glad I could help @williambryan392
  17. Cat’s out of the bag. I photoshopped my pictures during my alleged Fiverr HQ visit. That wasn’t Micha in the picture either, just a stand-in. I am also not a mod, I outsource it to a VA here on Fiverr.
  18. I can see the UI in front of me, but sure, you can wait till launch for confirmation. Pakistan is on the list as well.
  19. It’s not a separate forum. It’s a function within the forum where we will now have localized clubs per country/region. It’s part of Fiverr’s initiative to start organizing local events again now that covid seems to be in control.
  20. That’s true, but Fiverr has also started “punishing” sellers who create similar gigs just so that they can cast a wider net. I’m looking right at you logo designers. 🙂 So Fiverr is again trying to stop the nonsense of “step one: create 7 gigs”. The myth in question was about the TRS badge specifically. My guess is the CMS team gets so much nagging from lvl 2 sellers about the coveted badge that they had to somehow address it by saying: it won’t get you better clients necessarily.
  21. I’m not 100% sure. Need to wait for the replay to watch that part again.
  22. It covered some myths about what Fiverr in general. I don't remember everything, but in a nutshell: -Revisions don't hurt you in any way -OOO mode and gig queue limits don't hurt you, as long as you don't use them for a long time (roughly 30 days straight I think) -Editing your gig doesn't affect your ranking -The title you originally used for your gig, doesn't end up hurting your gig when you decide to edit it to something else. -Using a lot of tags everywhere is a big NO-NO. -Being a TRS doesn't get you "more valuable buyers" (whatever that means) -Using the NO CAP option in promoted gigs is best
  23. It was a great initiative. We need more content like that. I will try my best to support Fiverr more when they have these types of webinars planned, as they clearly are missing a finger on the pulse of things. At least in my opinion. (I was asked to share some ideas during my visit there, but by the time our CSM team meeting started my brain had been turned to mush, so I was unable to come up with some good suggestions off the cuff.) For instance, had they visited the forum, they would know to tackle the "always online" myth within the first 60 seconds of the presentation. 🙂 On an unrealated note, and this is probably a cultural thing, but I cringed super-hard when at the beginning of the webinar male attendees rushed to comment on how beautiful the hosts looked. Guys, that's not OK in any context.
  24. I have a new webinar I am working on but I am not quite sure when I can host it due to my current workload. I will announce something soon as I am still talking with Fiverr reps to schedule it.
