andywarburton Posted December 1, 2021 Posted December 1, 2021 Rreally depends on your industry... For example if you do ecommerce development, most people are already up and running (or not wanting to make any changes) due to the seasonal rush, however if you do letter writing services it's probably quite a busy time of year!
melissaharlowvo Posted December 1, 2021 Posted December 1, 2021 You must be slow if you are concerned. In that case make a plan for the next holiday and don’t be caught off guard if you are slow. Or take time off yourself. We all have slow times but it’s more about planning for those times. Since Fiverr has global reach it shouldn’t make much difference during any holiday.
gajuseidi Posted December 2, 2021 Posted December 2, 2021 As @andywarburton mentioned, it really depends on the service. Some businesses are entirely seasonal and make most of their profits in holiday seasons.

In the western world, November and December are full of various "winter holidays". The main ones being Thanks Giving and Christmas. Lots of people take time off from their work and businesses to spend time with family or are very distracted by end of year administration (for example big companies have performance reviews and compensation evaluation cycles, planning for the next year etc). This results in a change of focus for a lot of people.

Here in Southern Asia, we also celebrate Christmas, but it is a maximum one-day celebration/holiday. Apart from Christmas, everything remains the same as other months. Same running cycle and same business workflow. 😄
j6nyc6 Posted December 3, 2021 Posted December 3, 2021 Last December was my highest earning month in my Fiverr career until this November. Your past performance doesn't reflect your future but I can say looking back, last December was great.
anisocialmarket Posted December 3, 2021 Posted December 3, 2021 it has been the same for me as well, very slow
filipdevaere Posted December 4, 2021 Posted December 4, 2021 Less work or not in December, I have work scheduled for the next 6 weeks. It will not affect me.
andywarburton Posted December 8, 2021 Posted December 8, 2021 Just coming back to this post, so far December has been pretty quiet for me!
wendyadams7 Posted December 10, 2021 Posted December 10, 2021 Yes, pretty quiet round here. May be everyone's busy prepping for the holiday season
graphicboomer Posted December 21, 2022 Posted December 21, 2022 December is quiet good for me though.
