  1. Hi! This is not a problem I have run into before. I schedule my work in advance, and state on my gigs that I should be contacted first before any purchases are made. The buyer asked if I could beta read a 71k manuscript for them. I replied that I would be happy to on the 16th of May as my schedule is full until then. I suggested he purchase the gig now to book that slot, but not send me the manuscript until the 15th as the delivery countdown does not start until the manuscript has been sent. I do this with all clients and no one has been tripped up by this before. He then just immediately purchased the gig from me and sent the manuscript. I sent him a delivery extension request reiterating that I did not have the space until the 16th as mentioned in my previous messages. He declined the extension and said he didn't see my other messages about starting on the 16th. What do I do now? Can I request to extend it again? I have multiple other manuscripts to work through and unless I forgo sleep and take no days off for the rest of the month, I will not have time to complete his order.
  2. Hi, is it allowed to send a thanking message to the buyer who purchase my logo design through Fiverr Logo Maker ? so if she/he need more services they can contact us through message? anyone doing it already?
  3. I have a non-commercial request to sing in the style of classic Billy Corgan. Can be male or female singer. What we're really looking for is the phrasing and melodic sensibility, not necessarily making a convincing impersonation. This is for a niche fan podcast, just as an exercise. We may try using a voice changer/ai tool to make it even more Corganesque, but not certain. Lyrics are an existing poem. You would be expected to more-or-less improvise the stanzas over the music bed. I can budget $25 for a decent singer who is willing to give it a good half hour. Reference tracks:
  4. If I start mentioning every bug, the list will probably never end but I will try my best to name some. And I am aware that I am posting this in the 'Lounge' and not the 'Feedback' category because I have no hopes that Fiverr will even look at these issues and try to solve them. Some bugs have been there for more than 3 years, but still no resolution -- so, cough cough, no words to say anything. 1. Data of Promoted Gigs not updating: That's a different story as to how 80% of clicks through promoted gigs are just spam but today, my promoted gigs have stopped updating the data. For the past 9 hours, the same data has been visible and it's not updating. So, I have no clue how much I am spending, and due to the fear of getting a long bill of 1 million dollars (lmao, can't trust that I don't see a bug with billing), I have stopped promoting gigs until this issue is fixed. 2. I wrote a ticket to customer support to take a look at this issue of not updating Promoted gigs data -- and after a few minutes, I received this super-cute reply: just a single letter "s". And the best part is that on the Help Center website, there is no response visible at all, like nobody replied to my ticket. Bruh, what the hell is going on with Fiverr? I have no clue whether someone has replied, not replied, or just replied with this spam (spam from customer support, wow). 3. Whenever we keep our Fiverr app running in the background and open it again, this is what iPhone users see: nothing much but just a heart attack that they are banned from the platform. So, if you're owning an iPhone, good luck my friend, and don't forget to clear the app from 'Recent apps' every time. Apple was so proud that their phones don't lag even when you keep running multiple apps in the background that they didn't even release a 'close all' button -- but now, keep playing with this closing and opening game. And yes, my Fiverr app is fully updated, so please do not suggest updating the app. Not just me, but many iPhone users are facing this bug. 4. The new level system was launched on February 14 (the day of love) for all sellers, but if you go to your Analytics tab, you will see this message. Don't tell me that a billion-dollar company has a shortage of website developers that they do not even have time for 20 seconds to delete a few lines of code and remove this message from here. Bruh, if your website developers do not have time, then why don't you just go ahead and hire a $5 gig from your own platform so that someone else can remove it. It's been almost two months! Please do something and don't ruin the 'User experience'! 🙂🙂 5. No profile picture in order history for specific clients: I get it that it's not a big deal, but this bug has been there for the past ~3 years (since I joined the platform). Ever heard of 'User Experience'? And not to mention how hard it is to navigate/search the orders from the history. Can't you just give a 'notes' headline instead of just showing the repetitive gig name? That gig name means nothing to me and does not help in finding any order from the history. 6. Deliveries auto-changing the messages: No matter what you write in the delivery message box, after entering it, it will just change to a completely random text. I think this was fixed yesterday, but still, I would LOVE to count it in my list. Imagine how many sellers & buyers suffered from the headache and confusion due to this. Read more about this bug here: 7. Just now, someone posted that a buyer managed to bypass the 'Request to Order'. I hope that Fiverr is not launching a new tier: "Seller Plus: Double Premium," which ensures that you won't face bugs in RTO. Read about this here: 8. Lots and lots of bugs in custom offers that we faced last to last week. Custom offers were auto-expiring, there was no option of gig extras, and so on. Can't even mention all those countless bugs with custom offers. 9. The 'Online' and 'Last Seen' feature is completely bugged in the inbox. This bug has been there for the past 2-3 years at least (or maybe more), and imagine the awesome feeling of texting with the client and still, it shows you that the client was last seen 3 hours ago, lmao! 10. And countless more bugs (that are currently fixed but sometimes occur) --- such as wrong order queue number, notifications not working, and so on.
  5. I need a solution please community give me some ideas I wanted to bring to your attention that I made a withdrawal of $3552 from my Fiverr balance on 17 March 2024. Unfortunately, it has been almost 10 days now, and the withdrawal is still shown as "in process." I couldn't help but notice that in the past, when I made a withdrawal, it only took 1 second for it to hit my account. Even just yesterday, a withdrawal of $72 was processed and reflected in my account within 2-3 seconds. Therefore, I am a bit confused as to why this particular withdrawal of $3552 is taking significantly longer. I kindly request you to look into this matter and assist me in resolving it. I would greatly appreciate your prompt attention to this issue. I have also attached a screenshot for your reference. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
  6. There was a bug on the order page today, which was asking buyer's rating to be re-submitted and then showing seller's rating for the order incorrectly too. Seems like now they have rectified it. 😇 But it legit gave me a MINI HEART ATTACK today!!
  7. Hello everyone! So I completed an order worth $160 two days ago, even got 5 Star Rating but payment has not reflected into my account, it doesn't say any payment is being cleared. In fact, upon completion, on my phone, it said "Congrats you earned $0 for this order" which confused me even more. I spoke with the buyer too and he said he marked it complete and payment has been released from his account. Did anyone ever face this issue or knows why this could be? I've been trying to reach out to Fiverr support for two days but haven't received any reply. Really worried about continuing selling due to this. I'd appreciate any help I can get from you guys. Thank you!
  8. Setting Gig prices on Fiverr is about balance. Buyers want to feel that they’re receiving value for their investment; Sellers want to feel that they’re being paid fairly for their work. Consider how Buyers look at your Gigs, and then consider the tools Fiverr has created to allow you to create a Gig that both sells and expands your earning opportunities. PACKAGES Most Fiverr Gigs allow for the creation of tiered “packages.” Essentially, these are variations on your basic Gig, increasing service levels and adjusting costs accordingly. For example, a writer might offer three packages offering documents of varying lengths—one for 500 words, another for 1000 words, and yet another for 2000 words, clear choices to fit the Buyer’s specific needs. Your packages might reflect other factors: a voice-over recording artist might offer something similar in the recorded length. One tier might offer a 30-second recording, another a 2-minute recording, and yet another recording an entire chapter of an audiobook. Pricing reflects both added value for the Buyer while respecting the value of the Seller’s service. EXTRAS Most Gigs also offer extras, allowing Buyers to customize your Gig to their needs by purchasing options to create precisely what they need. For example, one popular option is rush delivery in just one day. You may have set standard delivery for three days, but offering the option of paying a reasonable premium—and having that job delivered sooner is often appealing to entrepreneurs anxious to get a job done. Extras can represent all sorts of options, including additional research, added features, or supplementary rights. For example, artists offer a variety of rights allowing usage across specific media, and a visual artist might include extras offering editable source files. By offering added-cost extras, you can keep the cost of your basic packages low. As a result, Buyers will perceive your Gig as a good value but often spend more than the basic price. Extras offer an opportunity for the Buyer and potential for your income. RAISE YOUR PRICE! Finally, remember setting a price for your Gig, packages, and extras isn't a “set it and forget it” task. As you gain positive reviews, revisit your pricing periodically. Keep an eye on your competition, and don’t hesitate increasing your price as your experience and ratings grow. You’ve earned it! A good practice is to create a personal milestone to increase your package price by $5 once you reach 50 reviews and another $5 when you earn 100 reviews. Remember, your ratings and reputation on the site also signal to the Buyer that you’re a worthwhile investment. Raising your prices over time is vital to establish your value and legitimacy and to drive your growth. Some Buyers may be concerned that raising prices might slow sales, but perception is everything. Modest incremental increases (as opposed to suddenly doubling the price of a successful Gig) are in your best interest and will increase the perception and trust of potential Buyers. And remember, you can change pricing anytime—up or down—depending on market conditions. Want to read more? 9. How can I apply for a new job if we don't see job offer? I am trying to keep stay online, but I don't understand what I can do for a new order. I have sharp experience in my category. My category is AI applications. thanks
  10. Hey Fiverr Community, Recently a buyer contacted me for a project on Fiverr and sent me her\ his WhatsApp number in an attachment. I told her\ him to keep all the things on Fiverr. Then she\ he agreed & eventually, I offered two custom orders as her\ his need. She\ He replied with "Sure" but then didn't give me any message. Then I thought it might be spam so I reported her\ him and blocked. Will it affect my account? Is it right what I did? How should I avoid getting personal information from buyers? 11. Preparing your Fiverr Profile Description (and, if you would like, an accompanying video) might seem intimidating at first, but there’s good news! Introducing yourself to potential customers is an important part of building a presence on Fiverr. Your profile description and Intro Video have a similar goal—to give potential Buyers a sense of who you are—not only what you can do. This is a significant opportunity to set yourself apart from the competition and project confidence in your ability to meet the Buyer’s needs. You won’t simply list your qualifications but discuss your success—why people love your work and how much you enjoy delivering a quality job to your Buyers. You may have many competitors on Fiverr with similar experiences, but only some will welcome Buyers and make sure they feel comfortable about spending their hard-earned money. Putting that extra effort into your profile can make a difference in converting a shopper into a Buyer. Likewise, creating a short video introduction can also have a major impact on your sales. While you may initially feel hesitant about looking into a camera and “trying to talk naturally,” here are a few pointers to keep in mind. 1. Don’t make your introduction too long or too complicated. Instead, keep your video under a minute and focus on a simple outline: A greeting, a short description, and an expression of why you love doing what you do. 2. Be upbeat. A smile and a good tone can go a long way to make Buyers feel welcome to your Gig and start connecting with you to be the expert that they will choose. Be conversational—in other words, speak as if you’re introducing yourself to a new friend. You’re not making a speech. Instead, you’re telling a story. 3. Be conversational—in other words, speak as if you’re introducing yourself to a new friend. You’re not making a speech. Instead, you’re telling a story. If you’re uncomfortable, practice telling a friend about your Fiverr account. While it may seem unusual, the key to appearing comfortable on camera is to remember that you’re talking to a person. So look at the camera—but don’t talk into it—always speak to the Buyer. Buyers love to see samples of previous work so you can include some samples of previous work in the background of the video as you speak. A similar format can be followed for the Gig’s Videos which can increase your conversion especially with business Buyers that will often want to get to know more about the Seller before placing an order. 12. As a new Seller on Fiverr, the idea of having a full inbox and a steady influx of orders is very exciting! However, the reality can quickly get overwhelming. Once your gigs start to gain some attention, you will notice a significant increase in business. You must learn how to manage Buyer demand and your personal availability, so you can give each order the necessary attention. Otherwise, you risk a drop in Buyer satisfaction, order cancellations, late deliveries, and negative reviews - all of which impact your business. Learning to manage your workload will also help you achieve a healthy work-life balance. Whether your freelance business is your main source of income or a side hustle, taking on too many orders at once can cause you to overwork yourself. Your mental health and well-being are critical to your personal and professional success. Managing Incoming Orders Although Fiverr Buyers can head to your Gig page and place an order without warning, there are still ways to manage incoming orders: 1. Extend turnaround times Offering quick turnaround times is a great way to increase the value of your services. However, if you are struggling to deliver on time, you may submit work that is not up to your standards. Go into your Gig settings and extend each timer by one day to better set expectations and give yourself a time buffer. You can always change it back once you learn to work faster and more efficiently. 2. Communicate honestly When communicating with prospective Buyers, be upfront and honest about your current workload. Let them know that you are very interested in working together and that you can deliver as soon as [X date]. It can be tempting to make exceptions for Buyers who are willing to pay more for extra-fast delivery, but it’s important to prioritize your mental health and orders that have already begun. It’s okay to let Buyers know that you are unable to fulfill their request right now and would be happy to help them out in the future. 3. Request an extension If a Buyer places an order before you have a chance to discuss your availability, you may request to extend the delivery date. When doing so, be sure to communicate that you value their business and want to give their order the attention it deserves. Most often, Buyers will appreciate the fact that you know your limits and will take the time you need to deliver a high-quality product. Managing Availability If the volume of orders is too high, and you’ve already followed the steps above to manage your workload, adjust your availability. Here are tips for taking advantage of the Set Availability feature: 1. Use it to catch up on orders If you need to take a break from answering new messages and receiving new orders, you can essentially pause your profile by setting yourself as Unavailable. If you have the capacity, you can choose to still accept messages from new Buyers and let them know that you aren’t accepting new orders at the moment, but you would be happy to get an order going with an extended delivery time. 2. Take some personal time It’s necessary to take time for yourself, your family, and other important things in your life! When you need to focus on things unrelated to work, set your profile to Unavailable for as much time as you need. Depending on how long you’re away, you may realize that your ranking might have changed once you are back, which is normal as your competitors may continue to complete orders and get buyer satisfaction responses while you are away. As you complete the orders your ranking can go back to where it was before. In addition to managing your incoming orders and availability, you can lean on others for support! If you frequently realize that you have more work than you can handle, it might be time to build a team that you can lean on. There are other excellent Sellers on Fiverr, such as virtual assistants or people in your industry, to whom you can delegate tasks. Want to read more? 13. Sellers need to have the ability to block abusive buyers. Blocking an abusive buyer was our only form of protection and painless way to avoid unwanted experiences. Please reconsider your decision to remove this essential option.
  14. Is there a limit to how many times a buyer can extend the review period? I have a buyer who has been totally silent during our order, never responding to any message I sent. Now that their audiobook has been delivered, they just keep extending their review period. I was able to get a single response to make 1 correction, when I delivered the correction, they just extended the review period again. it’s just super frustrating that they’re basically holding the order hostage and not communicating with me, so I wanted to see if they can just keep doing this indefinitely.
  15. Cancellations are part of the business and will at times be inevitable, but it is important to understand how that can impact your business and how can you, as a seller, manage that to avoid it potentially affecting your buyer’s experience and your baselines requirements that are directly connected to your seller level. The Order Completion Rate calculates the total amount of orders over the previous 60 days (whether completed or canceled), divided by the number of canceled orders, and then multiplied by 100 to reveal the percentage of orders completed. First, manage expectations. Your Gig should clearly define what you need to complete an order and a reasonable delivery time that’s fast, efficient for buyers, and comfortable for you as the seller. If the order goes Very Late, the buyer can cancel your order anytime. Complete your Gig’s Frequently Asked Questions section to inform buyers what they should expect and how they can help assure a positive experience. Managing expectations is key to avoiding cancellations. Whenever possible, communicate with buyers before they purchase your Gig. Within the Gig description, it’s a good practice to let buyers know they should contact you before purchasing for the best experience. This allows both parties to understand what’s involved in the specific job, ensure that you have what you need as a seller to complete the job, and agree to adjust the delivery time if necessary. Equally as important is to communicate with buyers after they purchase your Gig. If there’s a problem with your initial delivery, it’s best to avoid any mention of cancellation as an option. Instead, assure the buyer that your intention is always to complete their order to their satisfaction. Ask them for specific directions regarding revising your delivery. What if communication with the buyer isn’t working? Sometimes, an order may have issues beyond your control despite your best efforts. If the buyer is asking for work beyond the scope of your agreement or is problematic for any other reason, don’t hesitate to access the Resolution Center and if you still couldn’t solve the issue, reach out to customer support for guidance and direction. You can direct them to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) on the order page. There, you may find advice for your specific problem or contact support directly. Avoiding those cancellations from affecting your Order Completion Rate it’s only part of what you can achieve by following these tips, the most important is that this will help your buyers be more informed, aware of the process and have clear expectations, improving yours and their experience on Fiverr. 16. Hello I am web developer, so I provide services which is related to this industry. I had my first order done today, buyer left the review of 3 stars, but it was not my fault, after 5 days of work he said that, he had not time to spend on this project and wanted to cancel my order. I explained that I was working for his project for 5 days and it was so unfair to cancel, so he accepted this project as completed. But he left 3 stars review. My questions : Will it affect badly on my gig performance ? What can I do to improve my situation and get second order ? Help me if you can, this means a lot for me. Thanks.
  17. Hello Sellers , Hope you all are doing great. In my case buyer is asking for email which is necessary for the project because he want to add me in his site’s member which requires email. What should I do?
  18. matching your logo designs effectively with the right industry-specific pick is essential for you to get more exposure for your work and attract the right clients. With Fiverr Logo Maker, you have the option of adding unlimited industry-specific options to your work, but just like too much of anything good, adding too many options that aren't strategically chosen can be counter-productive. So how do you find the happy medium and get the most impact for your choosing efforts? Our must-read article on industry selecting says it all, but here are the cliff notes: The (Not So) Secret Formula to Success with Industry selecting is... The more specific your industry picks are, the higher your logo will rank in that category. It's really that simple. Industry selections in our logo generator are divided into Head Industries, Sub-Industries, and even more specific micro-industries. The key is to be as specific as possible without going overboard – remember, you want your work to be easily found by potential clients who are looking for a logo design just like yours, not lost in a sea of too many options. Using a wide array of Head Industries on one design is not going to be as effective as using a well-suited Sub-Industries or micro-industries. Adding too many industry picks to your design can actually hinder your design's ranking, so focusing on the industry in which your logo has the highest chances of shining is your best way to stand out in a specific category. Random Industry picks will Give You Random Results Would you rather be on the first page of results in a specific industry, or on the 100th page of a more general collection of designs? It's a no brainer. By matching your logo with specific Head Industries, Sub-Industries, and micro-industries that are perfectly suited to your design, you are increasing the chances that potential clients looking for logo designs in those industries will find your work. Industry choosing is an opportunity to tell the algorithm exactly which buyers will be most likely to purchase your design. Going with too many different industries will water down your work, and make it difficult for the algorithm to place you in front of the right clients. Remember, the algorithm is advanced but it's not mind-reading – it relies on the data you provide about your design to determine where it should appear in search results. The Best Industry picks are Relevant and Specific It's the small fish in a big pond vs. big fish in a small pond scenario. Hint: You want to be the big fish 😉 Here is how you can strategically target relevant industries when adding industry picks to your logo designs: Stay Relevant: Aim for the most specific industry that your design is applicable to. Get down to the nitty gritty: Narrow it down to the micro-industry level, if you can. Know when to make the cut: Eliminate the random industry picks that don't make sense: If it isn't relevant or specific, don't add it. Get into your target buyer's mind: Look at your logo from a buyer's perspective. If you were looking for a logo for a real estate company, the chances of you selecting the motorbike-themed logo on page 100 is pretty slim. Rather, you're more likely to select one of the first relevant logos that come up in your search. Choosing RELEVANT and SPECIFIC industry pick can mean the difference between getting found first and being lost in the noise. With a little thought and strategic planning, you can tell the algorithm exactly which buyers you're looking for, ensuring that your logo designs are being seen by the right people, in the right industries, at the right time. Below are some examples of logo designs that we've optimized for maximum search results. Green industries are the industries we've added to maximize results Red industries are the relevant, yet less relevant than others, industries we've removed to ensure relevancy and specificity. Remember- It's not about right or wrong, just pick your preferred top areas. You can always come back and change it according to the logo performance. Our recommendation is to stick with four or five of the most relevant options. Our industry picks- Renovation Services, Architecture, Interior Design, Commercial Real Estate, Industrial Real Estate, Property Management, Residential Real Estate, Urban Areas Example for possible tags- house Our industry picks- Athletics, Fitness Club/Gym/Center, Dancing school, Sports Fan Club, Sports Instruction/Coaching, Sports Team/Club, Cheerleading Example for possible tags- tiger , pompoms, shield Our industry picks- Catering, Food & Beverage Blog/Channel, Burger, Pizzeria, Seafood Restaurant, Mexican Food, Italian Food, Steakhouse & Grill, Mediterranean Food, Fast Food, Bars Example for possible tags-beer, alcohol, grill, bbq Our industry picks- Hair Care, Beauty & Cosmetics Blog/Channel, Beauty & Cosmetics Products, Barber Shops Example for possible tags- clippers, trimmer Our industry picks- Agriculture Blog/Channel, Crops Farming, Landscape Design, Gardening Services Agricultural Consulting, Agriculture Blog/Channel, Agriculture Company, Green Economy, Cleaning Services Example for possible tags- grass, lawn, mower Our industry picks- Cafes & Coffee Shops, Health & Wellness, Lifestyle, Bakeries & Baked Goods Stores, Bars Example for possible tags- coffee, beans All logo designs by mijalzagier Read our article on industry tagging for an in-depth explanation on how to make the most of your industry tags for enhanced visibility and increased revenue on Fiverr Logo Maker.
  19. Hi there, I couldn't expect that they continue to say the same things as before. Nothing changed and they even more ignore everything when they can't answer my questions. It's disappointing and deplorable to have such bad customer support. They really don't respect sellers at all. I have found that I can not access all my support requests. WOW, I don't think they can restrict my support request. TOO BAD!! I will keep trying to follow this case and let see if they still keep this service attitude or if there are any improvements.
  20. Hello, My withdrawal of earnings have been blocked by customer support for the last 5-6 days. And customer support said that it was an issue with an order. And it was a misunderstanding with the buyer so I after I delivered everything as buyer requested, the buyer contacted the customer support and told that we are on good terms. The customer support also said that the buyer got back to them and told that I delivered everything as promised. It was a mere misunderstanding because the buyer was under a lot of stress. Now more than 24 hours have passed even after the buyer has confirmed that everything is delivered in the order, I still cannot withdraw my earnings... I'm waiting for 5-6 days to withdraw my balance but I still cannot do it. I had to join seller plus as well because I didnot get replies from the customer support from the get go for this issue. I need funds for an emergancy situation with my family and this is my hard earned money for the month of april. Im in an awful situation where my payments are being held and im helpless because Im also not getting a response from the customer support. They dont reply to any of the tickets I open. Anyone knows what I should do about this? I have been on fiverr for a long time and this is the first time that I'm experiencing and Unjust situation like this. This is what the customer support said 2 days ago And they have not replied to a single message of mine after this and my withdrawals are still blocked.
  21. What type of files can a buyer attach on your order requirements question?(images, pdf....) How many files can a buyer attach per question?
  22. So I had one of those buyers who ask for Y, purchase an order for Y, are told throughout the entire order we're developing Y and, after delivery, that buyer requests additional Z (not wanting to pay extra). After realizing I was never supposed to deliver Z, but only Y, the buyer gave up and simply accepted the delivery, leaving a 1 star review. The problem was: the buyer left a review saying my code was buggy. The delivered code on the platform is completely free of bugs, which Fiverr or anyone can verify, but after reaching out to the support Fiverr insists it's an opinion. Saying I'm not communicative enough, or that I don't have great design taste, that's an opinion. Saying I delivered a buggy code, while the code is literally there without 1 single bug, it's a factually false statement. This isn't a subjective opinion, it's a factual lie, also called defamation, and anyone trying to say otherwise has literally 0 idea of the difference between a fact and an opinion. They also insist this review doesn't violate their Terms of Service and Community Rules. I guess we're all allowed to lie on facts and call it an opinion. We all know how Fiverr favors buyer all the time, just be safe out there.
  23. If you don't offer a certain service, it's perfectly fine to recommend someone who does (just remember that, if the buyer doesn't like your friend's work, they might blame you, too).
  24. Initially, the client was satisfied with the sample work I submitted for their project. However, upon completing the order, the buyer expressed dissatisfaction and requested a cancellation due to quality concerns "quality isn't of standard". However, If I accept the cancelation request "quality isn't of standard." Does it have any negative effect on gig performance? Thanks! Habibur
  25. It might be for the best. Among other reasons, if you talk to your buyer via Discord, Fiverr's AI might think that you didn't communicate with them enough (because it only tracks conversations on Fiverr), and you might get a lower success score because of that.
