  1. Well how is he a buyer? Are you bringing him from an offline source to Fiverr? Ideally, you don't want to be the one that gets paid for inviting a person only for them to order from you. I think it might raise suspicions if Fiverr sees this, since they might see it as review manipulation. It's better if you just tell them to register on Fiverr, rather than you sharing a referral link. But as always, it's just an opinion, you get to choose what to do. I wouldn't do that myself.
  2. It's a modernization and I am fine with that. Will it affect my Fiverr experience? Not exactly. It does look cleaner, but it's more of a small update rather than a huge upgrade. And it's fine, because the Inbox works well, it does its purpose.
  3. Your recent clients might have left a bad private review, hence the reason why you are not getting as many impressions.
  4. AI writing is pretty bad, especially when it comes to research. But some prefer to just use that and repair the content using their own research. Others just prefer to hire people.
  5. Knowing my luck they would ignore me anyway and a person with 5 sales would become Pro.
  6. Vickie, if Fiverr doesn't automatically make you a Pro, then they are doing something wrong. You have wayyyy less bad reviews than many Pro sellers, great business acumen and not to mention you've been on Fiverr for a long time. That's the definition of Pro in my books.
  7. Levi, there are legitimate sellers that post on the forum often which also do a lot of work. I would like to say I am one of those people that don't just write stuff here and waste time. I learned a lot of things, I am also trying to share my knowledge, and I also have quite a lot of sales under my belt as well. But I am sure this was not targeting people like me, Vickie and others, so I will take a step back from the conversation. Congrats on the Pro badge!
  8. Even the email with cancellation reviews arrived 2 days later than others for me. It will arrive if you're a Pro seller, although it should be a send it to all type of thing since it's not personalized as far as I can see.
  9. Glad to see you back, Frank. As far as we can see, they are bringing more sellers to Pro, but that email Mike shared says something about getting more traffic. So at least to me, that suggests they will either offer more exposure to the Pro platform, or there are some visual changes to the platform that make it easier to enter the Pro section. They could also add only Pro gigs at the beginning of each search, to encourage everyone to browse those first, and the less expensive gigs would be under them (a disaster if that's the case). We will have to wait and see. I don't understand why they would send an email without any details...
  10. It depends on the niche. I can't see them adding standardized pricing for writers, but for programming it made sense. We will see what they add.
  11. Honestly, this to me screems Top Rated Seller being automatically transformed into Pro, so those Pro sellers can easily lower prices if they want and thus generate more impressions and traffic. But again, we will see. Didn't check his gig yet but if there are issues, that's worrying.
  12. I know, but most of those sellers barely had any sales within the past 3 months, that's what I am saying. Keep us posted, I am curious despite not being a Pro seller anyway. My guess is, they will revamp the design for Pro and most likely make the Pro gigs easier to reach via Fiverr's main interface. That's what I think, but who knows.
  13. I am not sure how things are in the other categories. But as far as writing goes, there are few Pro gigs with actual orders in queue. Most of them rarely receive any orders, and I guess that's the reason why they are bringing some of the TRS into the PRO program. As for what changes they will make, I am not entirely sure. The fact that Pro sellers will receive more exposure tells me that either they will have even MORE exposure in the regular gig search, or they might actually feature Pro sellers more on the Fiverr Business platform. Then again, we live in very tough times financially, and AI is taking A LOT of sales from Fiverr, so I expected them to do something that benefits all sellers. But apparently Pro gigs make the most money, so I can see why they are doing that. We will see what will happen. What I saw is that at least in my category a lot of sellers dropped their prices, so at least for writers things are going pretty bad.
  14. So there are a few things here. Maybe he blocked you in the inbox, but it makes no sense because there's an open order. It could also be that the seller's account is under review. When that happens they are not allowed to connect with others, but a seller still continues to work on current orders. So that might be the case.
  15. Well most likely someone left you a bad private review. When that happens, that shows Fiverr one or more customers were unhappy and you are pushed back in search.
  16. That's the thing here. It already says the decision can't be undone so even if you contact them, they will say the same thing.
  17. There are notifications that don't go away for a while, but eventually do. You can log out and log in back agian, might help.
  18. It might disappear automatically. If it says you are verified, then you are 🙂
  19. As a freelancer you have to do that for yourself. It can be social media, other avenues you have. Obviously every person has their own ways to generate traffic. It's up to you to find what works. Don't expect someone to share a magic recipe that gives you traffic and sales, because they won't, if they have one they are keeping it for themselves so...
  20. As I told you in another topic, don't expect Fiverr to automatically hand you orders. There are people with way more reviews and time on the platform and buyers might gravitate toward them. Offer something great and unique. The fact that you have videos and pics is great, but most people have those as well.
  21. You don't get an order quickly. Focus on creating great gigs that are unique and don't copy others. Promote them yourself online and bring clients to Fiverr. Also, Fiverr might give you a boost too, if you're newer to the platform. But don't expect orders instantly, it takes months or for some people years to get that first order.
  22. I think it might have to do with AI. But it's hard to know man. As a writer myself I am seeing a massive slowdown in orders, and I am not alone.
  23. You are not allowed to post duplicate gigs. So obviously every description has to be unique.
  24. I think @breals was talking about the English you use in your gig description which is not native. Skin color doesn't matter on Fiverr, but if people see that you're listing Native English fluency and you have grammar mistakes, they will start questioning things you say and your overall integrity. The idea is, don't take it personal and learn from others on the Forum. If you don't want to learn anything that's fine, but you can expect some backlash from forum members at times if something feels iffy.
  25. Of course. But in some cases buyers are not in a rush. And not only that, but a day or two can make a significant difference. Obviously it depends on the service. Asking 2 more days for a 500 word article is way different than asking 2 extra days for a website...
