  1. I mean, since we have a quick reply and all we need to do is tap that message, I don't see them adding this. As I said, they are tracking how fast you reply on the order page too soooo... I don't think they will offer an automated reply, especially with buyers having different needs and some even asking questions. As a buyer, I would feel disrespected if all I got was an automated reply when I clearly asked something. And it does happen. That's why I use the app and open it often. The truth is, if you're a serious freelancer you already have the app and most likely use the notifications. If you barely open the app and reply to clients, an automated reply will give the illusion that the seller is responsive, which is not the case.
  2. It can take a day, it can take a month, years. It's very difficult and subjective depending on the seller. For example, in the transcription and translation niches you pertain to, there are a LOT of competitors. And honestly, it's very hard too have a unique service there, so the way you present yourself, your samples, experience might be the ones making a difference.
  3. The thing is, you don't want the message to feel automatic, which might happen for some buyers. I always try to be very specific and ask questions within the first message I sent. If the first message you send is a thank you message, you can have a fast reply saved and you click on it. I don't think Fiverr will implement this because I am pretty sure they are also tracking how fast sellers reply on the order page, if you check on the dashboard you have an order response rate. I don't know if that factors into the algorithm, but I assume it does. So yeah, it would become obsolete if you have an automatic system. As always, it comes down to keeping buyers happy and an automated message might not work if your buyer is asking a question and you are sending a random, general thank you message. As always, that's my opinion.
  4. They shouldn't seem interested, talk about what they want and not discuss anything about pricing, then at the end ask for a discount.. you know already what you are talking about and they just want to low ball to see if it sticks. If the seller has a proven record, they can charge whatever they see fit. Asking for a price reduction on a $5 gig though, that's something else :))
  5. You know I have a low pricepoint and some buyers even want me to lower prices :)) I had a dude that was shifting what I said to make it seem like I agreed to a much lower price. That's the beauty of being a freelancer, you can set any cost you want, and stick with it.
  6. There's no "ranking method". There's no secret sauce. It's all about making sure your clients are happy and they leave great reviews. So, don't expect secret methods because there are none. It's all about commitment, hard work and experimenting to see what gig fits your audience. I don't understand how people expect to post something like this and wait for someone to give them a secret. Hard work, that's the secret.
  7. Create a new gig instead of updating the old one. It's the better option and the reviews for that old gig won't be valid anyway since this is a new service.
  8. As Vickie said, just because you are on the first page will never guarantee orders. On top of that, you can't be there if you don't have a stellar buyer satisfaction rate. If a person rates you poorly, your "rank" will drop very fast. Because Fiverr isn't about who has more orders, it's about making sure every buyer is happy. So focus on that and not your rank.
  9. The OP doesn't want a badge. She never said anything about one, she was wondering if people also have a lack of sales.. Which is the case of course.
  10. What badge? What exactly are you saying? The OP is asking why there are no sales? Badges have nothing to do with that. Posting just for the sake of posting.. without any meaning...
  11. The use of AI in your particular industry has become very common. On top of that, you also had a bad review within the past 6 months, which will affect your buyer satisfaction rate. A lot of people within this niche and also in my niche (writing) experience lackluster sales. AI has invaded and destroyed sales for many of us. It is what it is...We need to adapt.
  12. The thing is, you may want to focus on ensuring the buyer is happy with their work. Improve your skills if needed. Of course buyers can choose to cancel, if the work is very low quality.. they need to have some sort of protection.
  13. It doesn't matter. Staying online won't affect your results. Focus on creating amazing gigs, unique and which offer great value to customers. That's what brings success, not staring at your computer waiting for orders.
  14. Yes you can. What we said is that it's unethical to say "I" in your gigs when you have a huge team behind. It's misleading customers, and it's also unfair towards people that actually work on their own and say the truth when stating "I will do X for you".
  15. I already said. You will be in the back until Fiverr sees improvements, so good reviews will help. But it will take a long time, because bad reviews can affect your account anywhere from 3 to 6 months. I also had similar problems and it took me aroudn 3-4 months to recover, and mind you, I had quite a lot of repeat customers keeping me afloat.
  16. That's because you are a serious seller. As I said, people that are serious will invest in good hardware. Honestly we don't need a few more million random gigs that don't offer any value to the website.
  17. In your case you had a pretty bad set of reviews recently. Fiverr also asks people for private reviews, which sellers can't see. Based on your public reviews, I can only assume that you got some bad reviews privately, and that pushes your gig out of search for a while. Because Fiverr promotes people that keep buyers happy, while pushing back those that don't.
  18. People that are serious about working online do.. As I said, offering that option on smartphones would just bring low quality gigs and sellers. I don't see any serious seller working solely from a phone, really. But again, that's my opinion. I agree that smartphones are very common but as I said, if you are serious about working online you at least have a laptop, if not a desktop PC.
  19. Pro sellers received a blue badge, that's what people are talking about here.
  20. Obviously you can't ask people for their phone numbers and stuff like that, Fiverr will automatically think you try to take the client away from the website and that's why they will not allow such a thing.
  21. You don't have to post a new topic every time you receive a new order. Enjoy the process, but remember that the forum is suitable for advice, assistance, not for sharing each time you have an order. Otherwise there will be millions of posts stating the same thing.
  22. And on top of that, on a PC you can resize images, write a longer description, etc. I don't agree with Fiverr adding a way to create gigs from mobile, since as I said, it will bring a lot of trash gigs that are made in a minute and which clutter the website. We already have a lot of that already. It might help some, but honestly everyone has a laptop or computer these days.. and it's more convenient to set up a gig from there. At least that's just me..
  23. Well 1000 words would typically be around 2 pages. But yes, I recommend you ask for the document, because there are times when buyers might not estimate correctly. So, it's better to check beforehand.
  24. The problem with this, aside from being quite a complicated thing to add, is that it will also lead to many low quality sellers to create random gigs and see if it sticks. At least via the website it takes a while, but if they allow people to do this from within the app, it might lead to a lot of low quality gigs made just to be there and fool buyers. At least that's what I think, others might want it, but I can assure you this issue will come up sooner rather than later...
  25. You can send me a private message with a link to their profile, just to confirm we are talking about the same person. Thank you. I never outsourced, I worked alone. I have a way cheaper pricepoint, and even in my case I see a lack of sales. But as you said, we have to adapt. AI really kicked us in the teeth.. that's for sure.
