Favorite way to get your gigs out there?

I personally like social media posts or ads on them. Anyone else have ideas on getting their gigs out there?

I climb the nearest mountain, find a strong, sturdy ledge, cup my hands around my mouth -- for maximum reverberation, and then shout my gig details into the wind. The number of "dears" that I get in response makes the whole process worthwhile. Sometimes, jumping out of an airplane, with a banner showing my gig details works too -- but anyone else's success with this strategy might have different results.

What has worked well for me is to walk up and down a busy street in town or go to the mall and hand out cards that say the bearer gets a free ice cream cone 🍦with every order. You would be surprised how many people will order merely to get the ice cream.

I would try your method @jonbaas, but I am afraid of high places. ✈️  🏔 😳
