  1. I am wondering if there are any Fiverr sellers living as digital nomads. I am most interested in hearing from those of you who are abroad, specifically those living abroad. How has your life changed, where are you and how do you find the local digital nomad community?
  2. I am rejecting some work because I want to increase my average selling price. I think this may be a reason as well. When I was new, I charged low fees; now that I've gained more "favorability" to the algorithm; this will take time to correct. Most of my translation work is still small orders, though.
  3. I must have overlooked the "Search" function to screen "Offers" sent by sellers in response to my buyer request.
  4. I believe that the seller may have to sell a minimum of XXX sales within a period of XXX time. I think that the monthly revenue has to exceed $8,000 for several months. This is just my speculation based on what I learned from talking with another seller.
  5. I have posted requests previously. I received over 200 spam messages and only 2 unique responses from the lot that actually took time to craft an appropriate offer to my request, one of them I did end up buying from. It would be easier and more efficient to conduct a search than to wade through hundreds of irrelevant spams from buyer request. Fiverr is correct in removing the buyer request feature. It improves the experience of most buyers and sellers. The people complaining are mostly new sellers, to which I understand fully; however, there are no shortages of sellers on Fiverr so this is not a problem for them.
  6. How many times do you want to ask this? I know you have another thread of the same.
  7. While this is true, I believe that most new sellers starts from the bottom of the barrel. I know I did, and even at bottom-barrel pricing, the Fiverr team asked me to lower my price to $30 for a service that took up at least 30 hours of my time to match another seller from a third-world country. That was poor advice, I know. I turn out to be okay now.
  8. Graphic design, web design and related fields are judged on their work, not the quality of their communication. So it is okay for them. You are providing a service that merits language policing. Your order deserves to be canceled. No one with any sense will agree with your claims.
  9. Very few people face this issue. And even fewer people log into two accounts (for their "fiancé") in the same device under the same IP address.
  10. Yeah, right: This is your english. I mean... WTF? The truth is that you aren't qualified to write business plans. English requirements for writing legal contracts are much stricter than they are for business plans, which is why I said you'd need above-average English comprehension and not native-level language skills to be successful at writing them. Your words to say your English are up to standards to write a formal document: And.. I'm not your "dear".
  11. If an extension is granted by the client after the intended delivery date, it will not be counted as an extension. The algorithm will still mark you as late. Or you may have bad reviews (in private) that you cannot see. However, it has also been speculated that this may be a "gig rotation" phenomenon. The platform gives new sellers or other sellers an opportunity to sell.
  12. Did you publish that gig? If not, it may have been rejected. You should see a status saying so.
  13. Please contact the customer support team to cancel your order, and they will adjust your algorithm back to normal too.
  14. It works. It will be deducted early each month from your earnings. Hopefully you will get some work.
  15. One thing I want to point out is that Fiverr searches are based on an algorithm, so it's important to look good and correct "on the surface". I see that your country is listed when I view your gig and it is not when I view your profile. This may or may not affect how you're perceived by the A.I., but it won't hurt to contact CS to have this corrected.
  16. There are some criteria to meet in order to be eligible for promoted gigs. The first is that you need to have at least 10 reviews (I set a target and this was the case for me). The second is that you must make a certain quantity of sales within a set period of time organically. I think the issue is that you need to make a certain number of sales before you get this function back. I understand that this can be a challenge if the algorithm is working against you.
  17. 4.8 is a pretty good rating overall. You've gotten 4.7 and lower before, but you've had enough reviews to keep them hidden. This seller doesn't have that many reviews yet. Although I empathize with the thread starter, I also agree with the two reviews that he is a seller who does good work but is difficult to communicate with because of the argumentative nature when faced with response that he doesn't like. The conversation that followed @katakatica's post was uncalled for. It's fairly neutral. The response was unnecessarily argumentative with so many name-calling. Given that buyers and sellers are likely to be in different time zones, your expectation of quick responses from them will probably seem unreasonable to some. I think one reply per day is reasonable, but it can be a problem for some gigs that buyers expect quick delivery. If you had spoken nicely or asked for an extension, I think the situation would have ended better.
  18. You may be having a problem with your web browser. Try refreshing or using a different browser.
  19. looks good but too generic gig description
