  1. The service itself sounds illegal and designed to bypass certain laws or requirements. You will be lucky not to get banned and have your account deactivated.
  2. I don't typically agree with with this opinion. However, I do think that a graphic designer's gig image should reflect his or her skills. The thread starter's doesn't.
  3. I've never had a problem delivering before.
  4. I have never received any briefs before, lol. Fiverr buyers who post on buyer requests usually buy low prices, so I may not be what this segment expect anymore.
  5. While this is true, many sellers become lazy and "copy and paste" generic responses to buyers. Furthermore, these messages can be a nuisance to buyers who wish to find a unique offer tailored to them. The truth is that removing buyer's request helps the site overall by allowing for more honest and genuine sellers, which allows for more satisfied customers experience overall.
  6. I received my first order after being here several months. You have already received at least two in the past two months, doing better than me. That said, I am sure that you will get leads; many buyers seek new sellers.
  7. Buyer's Request is gone. Nope. Now you can just wait for briefs.
  8. It sounds like you have more than one account, which is against Fiverr's policy.
  9. There are a number of fascinating stories from Japan, but I am not sure of any unsolved cases. There are interesting ones, such as Hisako Nakamura, Nippon Airways Flight 61, Kiyotaka Katsuta and the Tomioka Hachiman Shrine family fight. It is also interesting to see how culture influences the way people think or act. Does the Totoro case count as unsolved? (known as "Sayama incident", it was given the name Totoro and is how I remembered it... I don't even know the movie, lol) There is also one involving the biggest bank theft but I forgot the details.
  10. Set your status to available?
  11. 1. Change your profile picture to a more normal looking one. 2. You have 4 gigs and 2 identical ones. Remove the copies.
  12. Do you have any orders that have been canceled or refunded? Perhaps there is a pending refund and you "owe" Fiverr money instead.
  13. @donnovan86 I was surprised to find that you were able to grow four of your gigs into main ones. Two of them are in the same category, and this is proof that the ratings and reviews play an important role in the algorithm used by Fiverr to determine which gigs are pushed forward.
  14. Most sellers make this error, which impacts their own sales. Imagine you have 20 stones and there is only one "hole" at the bottom of the funnel; only one stone can pass through at a time. The algorithm needs to know which gig to push and when there are 20, it is confusing. In order to offset this effect, bring all of your sales into the main gig and make that one stand out with reviews and ratings. The algorithm will recognize this too. It is advisable to grow your main gig before creating the leads funnel with many gigs.
  15. For me, canceling an order has been a trying experience. The difference between your situation and the one described in the original post is that Customer Service deemed your work of quality, but the client did not. Customer Service therefore reimbursed you for the work but accepted the request for a refund. It seems that the customer service representative's offer was a good-will gesture, perhaps made on the advice of their superiors to appease a repeat customer who may have made many purchases. My assumption is that the delivered work was subpar and the buyer lost confidence in his (thread starter) ability to deliver; The assumption is made after I visit his profile / gigs and find that miscommunication seems likely.
  16. This is true, but if you know what you are doing and you do not simply copy and paste the gig description, you can take advantage of the opportunity and create many gigs to create a leads funnel. Rather than creating new gigs, you can improve the writing in your current gigs descriptions to make them more trustworthy.
  17. It is indeed surprising that the order was canceled after completion. However, it may be that the work is unsatisfactory, or that your client lost confidence in your ability to deliver quality work. Contrary to the belief of some sellers, it is difficult for a buyer to ask for a cancellation; I have had cancellations as a buyer and each time the customer service asked me to talk to the seller and once asked me to write a report about what was wrong with the delivered work. (Some problems require special knowledge in order to be understood, which is understandable) However, if the work is of inferior quality, the customer service representative will not hesitate to cancel the order.
  18. Because buyer's request is no longer available. Cheers.
  19. So why ask? And also if you don't get orders, you know why :-)
  20. Contact Madonna to see if she would be willing to give your gig a shoutout.
  21. Many people privately think it but do not publicly express the view. Someone must state the obvious: how is "its good text" a three word post meaningful in any way? It means nothing, and probably indicates that the poster thinks posting here will improve his gig "ranking".
  22. Buyer requests can be beneficial for new sellers who are trying to build a customer base, but they are a nuisance for established sellers and authentic buyers who are looking for help on their projects. There are many fiverr sellers posting canned responses and spamming buyers with hundreds of copy-and-paste replies; all sincere responses were getting lost in the sea of spam. If Fiverr were to automatically block all sellers who do not write individualized responses to buyer requests, I would support its return. For now, I appreciate the purge of many of the nuisance buyers will experience when they use the buyer request function. This is a good decision to ensure the quality of the user experience with the platform.
  23. Typical of customer service for a generic answer without explaining what the circumstances may be. It's okay, no longer curious.
