  1. The same thing happened to me when I started out; they didn't change the number for me and instead asked me to try another number.
  2. Oh, I now remember this. There is an option that is available during the long holidays... I believe this is a periodic offering... right?
  3. This is something new. A client requested a "review" extension, which resulted in the completion date being extended. I just hope there is a limitation to these extensions.
  4. Wait for a response. If you have proof of plagiarism, if you can prove that the seller plagiarized your work, I'm sure the customer support will cancel your order.
  5. Many buyers search specifically for "new sellers" on Fiverr, as they are after low fees. It is entirely possible to succeed on this site, but you should know that it is a bit of a luck game.
  6. Each computer and smart phone has a unique IP address. The individual device has an IP address that is matched with the Wi-Fi, making it impossible for you and your brothers to share the same IP address as long you are on two devices.
  7. Customer service representatives are real people, and they can be prone to giving out copy-and-paste responses. That being said, nothing is stopping you from starting a new gig.
  8. It sounds like it's a questionable gig to begin with?
  9. I think the review has been fair. I mean, you may have misrepresented yourself, for example, by mentioning that you can speak Chinese. 冒牌货不难揭穿,真的懂华语不?
  10. The buyer gave an appropriate review, which serves as a lesson to the seller. You get two files. You open both of them. If I had known the possibility of a negative review, I might have cancelled the order. This would have saved the seller from receiving a negative rating on their profile, which will be visible to potential customers.
  11. I don't have enough knowledge about your service type to comment on the specifics, but you can surely update your gigs. The gig description allows for 1200 characters and you have used 748 of those. It would be better to expand on your content and develop a more personalized description. Think of at least five questions potential clients might ask about working with you and your answers to them. Write the FAQ section. I will also recommend that you rewrite your profile description, so that it resembles something like this: "Hi, my name is Dr. Bruno. I have experience in helping people deal with... I am an expert in the field of... If you are interested in my services, please contact me."
  12. Maybe you could make a better video thumbnail / gig image without the "sale" and "50% off". Some buyers might think it's sketchy. What's the the green box with a circle and a X? Your gig titles are too long. The rest seems okay (I visit only one of your gig pages, it seems to be properly written, tagged etc.). Actually, he's correct. The terms "javascript," "front end developer," "figma" and "html" are very specific. That's because there are many more people who prefer wix, wordpress, shopify and other platforms that coders don't do (or dislike even). Unless the buyer is completely clueless, they are likely to know if they want a coded website or platformed website. Most buyers do some research before approaching a seller, so I believe most buyers know what type of website they want. He needs to reword them.
  13. All computers and smart devices have unique IP addresses. These are the numbers that allow computers and other connected devices to connect to the internet. So, unless you have the same computer or device, it will be impossible for you to have the same IP address. At the end of the day, as long as you are an honest seller, you don't have to worry.
  14. Two computers or even thousands of them using the same Wi-Fi will all have different IP addresses. It's impossible to have identical IP addresses because each computer has its own IP address. Think of it as a cell phone. Every phone has a different number but is still using the same service provider. Their numbers are still not the same.
  15. WHY? If you are not satisfied with the results of your order because the work is genuinely bad, cancel it and ask for a full refund. If the quality of your work is unsatisfactory, be a jerk and cancel it. If you want to be nice, contact the seller and arrange for another order with an amount you are willing to "tip" for his efforts. Working with someone who does not have the necessary skills or expertise will lead to a waste of time. Why continue wasting your time?
  16. Fiverr provides warnings to sellers. I once received one of these warnings (it was automated, and I was able to appeal and have it removed). Fiverr is strict with sellers because there are so many of us, and every seller, including myself, can be replaced. It is best to request (and abuse) the revision and use the revision option until you hear back from the customer service. This way, the seller will not get any money at all. The seller's unwillingness to cancel the sale is probably due to his concern about the effect cancellation will have on his "completion rate," which we all value very much.
  17. You are not support to have 2 accounts. I was saying "You are not suppose to have 2 accounts". **
  18. How?! You are not support to have 2 accounts.
  19. Why did you ask a question and then immediately respond to it as if it were an answer? I agree that Fiverr does not need to have skill tests or the current ones suffice. I recommend that Fiverr introduce a bridging level between "Level 2" and "Top Rated Seller" which would cost some money to validate the seller's English skills (like an IELTS score), since most of the services are expected to be rendered in English. The exemptions will apply to verified ID sellers who have earned their education qualifications from a native English-speaking institution. My opinion, although not necessarily the most popular one …
  20. You don't need to sue Fiverr. Just contact the customer support team directly with the same complaint you posted, you will get the cancellation / refund. He is likely to get a warning too.
  21. Many sellers on the forum are exposing their shortcomings, such as writers who complain about order cancellations when they write in poor English. Like this writer: I wonder why the moderators do not identify and expel some sellers who are genuinely clueless about how bad they are.
  22. If you are very sure you have previously blocked the buyer and they successfully placed an order, initiate a cancellation and contact customer service to report a bug. Also ask them to readjust your cancellation back to normal. They do have records of everything you do on fiverr.
  23. There is certainly value in older sellers and you definitely standout from the rest. I am wondering if your account has been inactive for a period of time and has just recently been reactivated? It can take time for the algorithm to warm up to you again. You have over 1,800 reviews, so I wouldn't worry too much. I would recommend checking your gigs' classification, tags and other details to make sure they're up to date.
  24. Maybe too much competition and other sellers are converting leads better than you.
