  1. I can agree on that. As of right now unfortunately you have to rely on the customer to be fair and accept that the revisions are used up and that they have to pay for more. It really helps to communicate with every revision that there's is X-number left (included) and that they should think of everything they want to change (written in a professional way..). Sometimes buyers use the revision button again and again for every single little spelling mistake or whatever, it can be really annoying and I think they don't really get the effects it has on us (later paying, affecting stats) etc. So I'm also hoping that this topic will be thought over by the fiverr team in the future.
  2. Just go on fiverr and click on your profile picture in the upper right hand corner - there it says "switch to buying". Now you can search for it yourself and see how many people or gigs are out there. To see if there is demand, it might be helpful to check how many reviews a certain gig has, if it's just a few on every gig, the demand might not be that high (or the gigs not good enough, you have to find out yourself). Another option would be the sellers plus programm.
  3. No, I have 4 questions and one of them has to be answered. They mostly answer all of my personal questions though in comparison with the automated ones.
  4. I have no opinion on it whatsoever but I what I can say is that my customers see them everytime they order something from me and it's like 90% not filled out correctly or not at all. Like as if you could see that they wanted to skip them asap.
  5. Hey, that's really sad to read! I had customers like this a couple times as well. You can do whatever you want, if they want to rip you off, they can. I also never got my money back through the customer service, even if it was clear that it wasn't my fault. For me it was not about the money but about the bad review or also bad ranking/stats afterwards that really made it worse. That's actually something the customer service can help you with when you ask them nicely and explain (also with screenshots as proof). The platform changed a lot in the last years and maybe in the future sellers will get more protection as well. I think it's good to discuss those topics with the customer service or also participate in comminity meetings etc to let them know. I mean, if they are not sellers themselves how should they know. But sharing those stories will maybe help at some point.
  6. I don't know if I misunderstood but by being registered in your country as either freelancer or self-employed and therefore filing taxes. Easy as that? By doing so you will get a tax declaration that you can use as proof. Everything else will either be in a grey area or illegal.
  7. I can agree to that. It was mostly (at least for my categories) people who wanted you to basically do things for free. I never got any brief yet though, so I don't know if it's because of my categories again or whatever it is.
  8. Okay so that's e.g. something I didn't know (I mean that you have to pay for a subscription), maybe that's something to use as an advantage for you as well.. like to mention in the description (like... "save the subscription fee....."etc). I think your gigs are way better now as well 🙂 Also the pricing! Good luck with it. What I learned here on fiverr is that any price-points will have a specific kind of buyer. About the lower prices: yeah I get that 100%. Well just try it out with what you have right now. If it doesn't work, try to lower your price a bit for 1-2 reviews, over-deliver and give a great customer service and then put the prices back up. I bought a lot on the platform myself and tbh.. sometimes when buying cheap, people aren't even able to properly form sentences or text you like 8 times in a row when you don't answer in a second, which can be super annoying. I'm sure it will be easy for you to provide a proper communication compared to that and get good reviews quickly. It's not super easy in the beginning but once you have a level and some reviews, it will get way easier 🙂
  9. Hey, thanks and sorry for getting back so late, I kinda forgot about it and had a lot of projects 🙂 Okay alright, that's definitely a way to go (people who already know what the tool is). Do you think, that people who already know the tool would need this kind of service or just use the tool themselves? (I have no idea about the tool so that's just a question to ask yourself.. what kind of people know about it and are they someone who would actually need someone to help them?) It's just my opinion but maybe you could try to start with very high quality thumbnails for a low price. Mostly what helps the most with gigs in the beginning is reviews. So maybe if you have a customer, you could make them register on the platform to buy from you here (fiverr affiliate). When they come via your affiliate link, they don't have to pay the fee as far as I know. I would definitely add a "sample" for the thumbnail. Maybe not on top of the thumbnail but above it. Haha yeah I know how it feels about getting lazy while creating gigs. I was the same and updated them again and again. I would definitely add as many FAQs as possible. Maybe you can even use AI to find out what kind of questions buyers may have 😉 I would also remove the fitness article and either write a short new one for gaming or maybe split the other one.. something like that. I think to have two different ones is a good option though as "one" could easily be seen as "well that one was luck, is he really skilled?" the more proof, the better! Thanks a lot also for being open to receive feedback 🙂
  10. Hey, I just had a look at your gigs and will just write down some things I noticed 🙂 Please don't get discouraged because I mostly only focus on the things you might or might not could do better! I think you have a lot of potential and the fact you're asking for help shows that you really want to figure out how to get clients. I will create thumbnails for your fiverr gigs and youtube using ai midjourney - who is your target group here? I imagine it's people who are either seller on fiverr or youtuber or anyone who needs thumbnails, right? As it's so "broad" I'm kind of questioning the knowledge of people concerning the ai "midjourney". It probably makes total sense for you but to be honest, I had to google what it actually is. When I would search for someone who creates thumbnails, I would go for someone who just creates them on their own without using AI. What I want to say is, that I feel like it would be good if you clearly explain what midjourney is, what it's doing and what are the advantages of it compared to a graphic designer. Your buyer could be someone for whom it's more important to save money and still have some proper thumbnails. I mean how would you explain to me as a customer that using an AI service for thumbnail creation is worth the money compared to someone creating it in a graphic software? Do you understand what I mean? - I don't understand what the illustration photo on your gig gallery is for, is it something that was created using midjourney? And why there are the same gig images twice? And what is the "SEO" gig image about, is it an example for a created gig thumbnail? For me looking at it, it is confusing. Maybe you could create a gig thumbnail which shows multiple example thumbnails you created, one gig image for youtube thumbnails, one image for fiverr gig thumbnails etc etc - niche: I would either choose a niche or list some more places than only youtube and fiverr. Eg. the pricing for your packages starts with 10thumbnails: this might be good for youtube, but barely someone needs 10 thumbnails for fiverr I guess. Like there are people, but probably not enough to pay your bills. I was questioning as well why the premium package is more expensive. It says "instructions" (what are instructions for this gig) and "prompt delivery" (you've set 1 day delivery for all packages, so what does that mean? explain it in the gig description!) I will write articles or blogs about video games for your website First thing I noticed about this gig was a great gig image gallery, I like to read example articles when it comes to these kinds of gigs. BUT! When I opened the first example about BF3, I noticed a misspelling in the first sentence. It says "solider" instead of "soldier", right? This mistake would be a reason for me as a buyer to end checking your gig here and search for someone else. I'm also a bit confused to why the second article is about fitness and not about video games like it says in the gig title?
  11. Congrats! Hoping to be part of TRS soon as well 🙂 This is really motivating!
  12. When I started on fiverr, I also had no orders for a month or so. And I was not just a new seller, but a new freelancer in general. So what I did was creating a portfolio in the meantime because when I did not had a lot of reviews, the buyers asked for work-examples a lot. And because of me building up a portfolio, I was able to show them something. Also doing webinars and reading about how to be successfull as a freelancer helped a lot during that time. What nowadays is completely normal for me is something I had to learn once. Maybe it's easier if you're not completely dependent on the money.
  13. Following on this topic. Are there any updates about this as I have the same struggle right now.
  14. Hey, you just started on fiverr this month, right? At least on your profile it says "Jan 2023". All I can suggest is: give it some time! Your stats actually look quite good for such a short time being on the platform. When I started on fiverr, I think it took months to get a first job. I started with very low prices but a high quality service to get my first reviews.. once you have some good ones, people will find you way quicker. I haven't checked every single gig of yours, but it looks good. Maybe you could add examples to the gig portfolio. You could e.g. upload a PDF where you explain how you do it or what the client gets. Especially for your ad gigs - you could upload screenshots of ads that performed well in the past. Or anything that shows more of the process (you're the expert, so you probably have better ideas than I do 🙂
  15. Do you mean "Live Portfolio" or "Project Portfolio". I guess the second, right? For now, it's only available to Top Rated Sellers or if you get selected by Fiverr.
  16. I'm using it since a couple weeks and for someone who tried it the first time, I think it's also the buyer stats and keyword analytics. Not sure if I will need in more than one month and maybe in a couple months again to check the keywords again, but I can agree to everything that @ozan_erdisaid. I wasn't ranking that well anymore and it helped me to get more visibility again.
  17. I'm interested in this as well as the same happened to me. I had no orders at all for two months in october and november last year, now it slowly comes back but I still didn't know what could have been the problem other than a negative private review. I do had a problem with one buyer who scammed me. The topic was also accepted by the support team and they helped me with the stats. I'm not sure though if it still kinda had a negative impact one way or another.
  18. Also what exactly do I get as a buyer when I buy this gig? I can't really find what's exactly included in this package. Maybe you can explain a bit more whats part of the $5. In your "I will do 2d mechanical and engineering drawing on autocad" description you write that things are dependent on the package the buyer will choose, but you only offer one package. That might be a bit confusing as well.
  19. Hey Chrispine, I just had a look at your gigs and here are some things I would improve: Your bio: I think your bio is written well, still I would rather write what advantage a potential buyer (in this case I as a reader).. has when working with you. E.g. you wrote "I have always been a quick learner, readily grasping things" ... what is it, that the reader can take from this? You could write that because you are a quick learner, you are able to work on projects in many different fields (or something more creative..), you get the point, right? Also I would upload an example to your gig as image, not just the gig main image. And last but not least, I would give your package a proper title.. for example when I look at it, it says "$5" - but as I'm in europe, the price next to it is shown in Euro. Please see attached what it looks like for me. It's a bit confusing or like unnecessary repeated. I don't know why but for some reason, 9 revisions looks a bit confusing for me as well. It kinda gives me the impression that you maybe make a lot of mistakes instead of actually giving the buyer the opportunity to actually maybe change his mind and have an advantage because of it. I would suggest to use a lower number for revisions, especially because for this kind of gig, I would expect you to enter all the data correctly right away, do you know what I mean?
  20. Unfortunately this happens all the time, also when it's not spam so my advice would be to prepare some kind of template for the next time someone is asking you. Most people completely understand it when you tell them the reason behind it or also inform about the video chat function for business clients 🙂
  21. Hey Dylan, I kinda had the same problem for a while and tried to go through all my messages to see if I was later than the 24h and tried to calculate it etc.. but even though it felt like I answered on time, every time.. I realised that I didn't. It's really bad to loose the level because of something like this and I did too, but since I focus on answering right away, I never had a problem about it again. But if you feel like you really did answer everyone no later than 24h, feel free to check the messages for the last 60 days yourself and try to calculate it 🙂
  22. Hey, when it comes to your gig specifically, I would recommend to specify what "short" means in seconds. Or maybe try to look at your gig as if you would be a buyer yourself.. what info would be important to you. This would be something that would be interesting for me to know before buying. Also I like your example video, maybe it would help if you use three "short" videos as examples instead of the different gig images/photos, as the buyer could see instantly what you mean by "short".
  23. Hey, I think it's great that you're looking for help here in the forum. I can agree to the last two posts, for me your profile doesn't reflect the skills you might have. I would suggest doing this: 1) check grammar in description (e.g. instead of "i'm" - it's "I'm" and you use a lot of commas instead of period to end a sentence) 2) update the gig descriptions: only the first one is good I would say, the others is alway the same copy + paste text 3) logo design gig: especially here it's very important to have example work
  24. I'm also using it since a month and really like the keyword tools. I updated my gigs now and hope it will help. Anyone experienced with the success manager? Will someone check your gigs and give feedback?
