  1. Probably a scam from someone who wants you to think they've paid and wants you to work for free! Many people try to scam new sellers. Click on Dashboard to check if you have an order. If there is no order, report this scammer to Fiverr https://www.fiverr.com/support_tickets
  2. I feel like I'm a bit lucky compared to others! I've checked the spam received over the past 3 weeks. 25 spams. None of them have the "promoted" tag. I've had 1 message that was for a service prohibited on Fiverr (buying fake reviews for Amazon).
  3. About 4 months ago, I was receiving between 10 and 20 spams (Hello, Hi...) per day on one of my gigs. I was a bit scared that I might have to pay to receive spams, but no spam appeared with the "promoted" tag in my inbox. I'm not sure if Fiverr has any plans to roll out targeted audience or keywords we can set, but it would definitely be a fantastic idea.
  4. Keep the $10 until many sellers can no longer use promotions due to their drop to level 0. This will lead to less competition for ads! I watched a YouTube video featuring a seller who earned $62,800 and spent $12,265. His CPC is between $0.48 and $0.64. The earnings finally amount to: $38,000 for the seller (60%) $24,800 for Fiverr (40%) 🤑 I'm not sure what the best strategy is, but I'm not keen on giving Fiverr 40% of my earnings! I'll keep my bids at ridiculously low prices. I was at $0.04 or $0.05, I just switched to $0.02.
  5. I understand! Thanks for pointing that out. I will pass it along to the product team. In fact, I wonder if I even found a "back" button when I scrolled or if I finally clicked on my browser's "back" arrow. I remember that as I scrolled down, I saw a check/uncheck box for a delivery sample in my review. This box should be visible without having to scroll! Could you please let the product team know about this too? Anyway, it all comes down to the same thing... a customer who leaves a review shouldn't even have to look for a way to modify his review. If they want to change it, it's because they've discovered a rating they didn't give, and that's the problem with this rating system, which awards stars without the customer having to choose a number of stars.
  6. Take a look at this video. This guy already pointed out the problem nearly 2 months ago. But for Fiverr, everything is perfect... In this new review system, the client NEVER gives stars, whereas the rating on our profile and gigs is in stars. Explain how this is possible! In the old system "very good" was worth 5 stars . In the new system, "very good" is only worth 4 stars. Why???
  7. I'm in a very small niche. That's probably why the ROI is so high. It's probably not the same story in categories like logos, photo or video editing...
  8. I can't believe they could do this!! 😔 There have been tons of messages on the forum saying that client reviews weren't consistent, but for Fiverr, everything is fine...
  9. I had never paid attention to that. I just checked for a few clients. One client placed a "promoted" order in January 2024. He placed a second order in February 2024. The second order isn't "promoted". Another client placed two orders in January and February 2023. Both appear as "promoted". He placed a third order in November 2023. The third order isn't "promoted". It surely depends on how the clients reach out to us. Did they search through their old messages to contact us? Did they search for our service using the search bar and then click on our promoted gig?
  10. Another possibility... why does the AI say I respond quickly, I deliver fast, but that I do translations via Google? Yet, I swear, I speak fluently in 10 languages! I was born in Germany, I studied in the USA, my first husband is French, my second husband is Italian, the third is Danish, I lived in China, my cousin is Russian, my neighbor is Spanish, and now I live in a sunny country that I won't mention... Giv me jop ! 😁
  11. I really like how Amazon US now displays the strengths and weaknesses of products with clear and easy-to-understand information. And especially, I love how they use AI to generate a summary of reviews. Perhaps Fiverr could take inspiration from this to make things more transparent and explicit! I wonder if Fiverr will indicate "AI-generated rating" next to our new rating. Any information about this?
  12. I find it really strange that there isn't even a "more details" button in the dashboard. If you don't hover over the metrics, you don't even know that there are individual gig insights or explanations on the metrics. I only have 3 gigs with individual insights, and I already find it very annoying to have to click so much. I can't even imagine how frustrating it must be for those who have 20 or 30 gigs! Keep it simple... a dashboard where everything is visible at a glance. It's also necessary to display all the key areas that affect the individual score of each gig. Today, we only see 2 or 3 key areas, and we have no idea if the others have a positive or negative impact. I want to see the details of all the key areas. That's what we call being TRANSPARENT! I'm not completely foolish; I can calculate the average of my public ratings. If I see that my public rating displayed by Fiverr is lower than the average of the public ratings, I understand that the private rating isn't good. But once I know that, what do I do? Nothing... I don't know what the problem is! In fact, this mix of public and private ratings serves no purpose other than to punish sellers without us knowing where the problem lies. Fiverr tells us that this new rating system is more transparent. From the sellers' side, there is nothing more transparent; it's becoming increasingly obscure...
  13. Thank you for your responsiveness! I am sure they will find a perfect solution for the button. I hope they will also find a perfect solution so that a customer who wants to give 5 stars does not end up giving something other than 5 stars. The problem of the "back button" only exists because there is another much bigger problem!
  14. I had exactly the same problem as this client when I placed an order about 2 weeks ago. I searched for a long time on how to modify my rating. The "back" button wasn't visible on my screen. I had to scroll down for the button to appear. That's not what you call a perfect UX when you have to scroll down to go back 🤔
  15. @Kesha Fiverr isn't listening to sellers. Will Fiverr listen to clients??? (It's not a review from one of my clients, but a review from a client of usman94)
  16. I'm so angry to see this! There have been hundreds of messages about this, but at Fiverr, they say everything is fine.
  17. I'm preparing for my new career as a Paint and PPT designer🤣
  18. I think the guy was impressed by my talent as a specialized Paint designer! https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/325229-update-changes-to-the-value-for-money-question/page/2/#comment-2034710
  19. I'd like to discuss promoted gigs. This program is often criticized, but few people talk about the actual numbers. Initially, I followed Fiverr's recommendations for the CPC cap by setting my bids at $2 or $3 (which was completely crazy!), but I quickly lowered my CPC cap. I remember setting it at $0.02 per click at one point. Today, I bid between $0.05 and $0.10 per click, with a maximum daily budget of $1. Although I don't have a very positive opinion about this program, I must admit that my results seem rather good, but I have no idea what is considered good or bad in the market! For every dollar spent, I earn about $100. Have you analyzed your ROI? How much do you earn for every dollar spent, and what is your CPC cap?
  20. Several clients have already told me they will check my work with a detector. I don't care because I don't use AI tools to write texts. However, as more and more clients are talking to me about detectors, I wanted to test what these detectors are. I took one of my orders and ran it through several detectors (Writer, ZeroGPT, Copyleaks, Undetectable...I took the ones Google suggested to me). Some tools say my text is 100% human, others say it's 30% AI, others 95% AI, when I know it's 100% human. They don't seem very reliable! Do you know which detectors are reliable?
  21. Thank youuu...!! 🙌 My Excel file confirms that you have 4.97 😁
  22. I track my competitors, and I also track myself 😉 For me, I find 4.8 or 4.9 depending on the gigs I count (those that are on pause or not, and the reference period). What you see is indeed correct.
  23. I love it. A change that makes sense! I don't see this change while using Google Chrome, but I know exactly what it looks like! For years, I've had an Excel file where I track the competition in my niche with the number of reviews each has and the weighted averages to which I've added automatic formatting with colors. It's super reliable. If you want to know where the "super" translators who are fluent in 10 languages are, look for the orange and red cells 😉 I was only tracking a handful of competitors, but a few days ago, I expanded this "study" to many more competitors. It's very interesting 😉 I'm sharing an excerpt from my table with the number of reviews and the weighted average. This table confirms that sellers with many reviews manage to achieve a very high weighted average.
  24. There's another magical, honest, and unbiased solution to achieve a greater variety of ratings, and that's the 10-level scale! Actually, there are 11 ratings because we introduce 0. Nothing better to identify those you want to eradicate😉
  25. Here's a long message that doesn't contain anything new. Everything has already been said on the forum, but I don't know if it has been heard or listened to! The issue isn't solely with this question. There's a problem with all questions, or more precisely, with all the responses. I'm repeating myself, but: 1- This review system completely confuses buyers. When customers select "very good", Fiverr asks, "what could have been improved?". (This question implies that Fiverr believes "very good" ratings mean freelancers haven't done their job!). Many of us have questioned our clients to understand why they said that we needed improvement in delivery quality, delivery time, level of cooperation... Many clients said that they believed they were being asked to highlight positive aspects rather than identify areas for improvement. Many clients give tips even when they rate 4/5 for "value for money." I don't even understand why Fiverr needed hundreds of messages on the forum to understand that there's an issue with this notion of value (whether it's "value for money" or "value of your delivery"). We're told that they've been analyzing all of this for a long time, that it's not new... but it never surprised them to see tips from buyers when value for money is rated 4/5. 2- The questionnaire and the responses are biased. The responses now jump from "average" to "very good." "Good" has mysteriously disappeared. "Very good" used to be worth 5 stars and is now only worth 4. In an honest and unbiased questionnaire, the responses should be antonyms (exact opposites), which is absolutely not the case for the new questionnaire. Examples of unbiased answers: Strongly disagree - Disagree - Neither agree nor disagree - Agree - Strongly agree Very difficult - Difficult - Neutral - Easy - Very easy Fiverr claims transparency, fighting against fraud, and honesty. Deciding to bias a satisfaction questionnaire and discreetly lowering "very good" from 5 to 4 stars goes against these values. 3- The emojis and the stars. Clients never actually assign stars. They just click on smileys, and somehow, it all magically converts into stars, and our gigs display stars that clients don't award us! I wonder how and why Fiverr decided that a smiley with a big smile is worth 4 stars. Everywhere else, the small smile is worth 4 stars, and the big smile is worth 5 stars. And what about the junky smiley with red stars instead of eyes? I'll just keep quiet... If Fiverr doesn't want to get rid of these childish (and unprofessional) smileys, they need to be TRANSPARENT and choose a design that combines stars and smileys. 4- Respect the voice of the customer without manipulating it When I received a 4/5 with the new system, none of my clients chose to rate me 4/5. They selected a very happy face because they are very satisfied, and it's Fiverr that arbitrarily decided to give me 4. Why does Fiverr decide on behalf of the client to rate me 4/5? It seems like review manipulation. I repeat myself: If Fiverr doesn't want to get rid of these childish (and unprofessional) smileys, they need to be TRANSPARENT and choose a design that combines stars and smileys. This way, the client knows exactly what rating they're giving to their seller. And the seller knows that it's not a mistake from the client. Fiverr's goal is to have more diverse ratings to make it easier for clients to choose. The objective is good, but the way it's done is bad and demotivating for sellers! (We're not all incompetent people who need to be punished, but everyone is treated the same way). If you want to clean the platform by eradicating bad sellers, fraudsters, and those who threaten clients, you should do it genuinely but stop targeting all sellers in the same way. You're demotivating everyone except the fraudsters, who will always find ways to circumvent the system. Here are a few images that I've already shared on the forum.
