Question

Hey everyone!
I will keep it short.

I have been a seller on Fiverr since 2016 and have done a few hundred projects here.  During Corona, I applied at a company and got hired.  I have been working with them for like 1 to 2 years.  I tried keeping my Fiverr alive but the last few months I was super busy and I paused all my gigs because I didn't people to contact me and waste their time.

Last month my contract is finally done with that company,  And i am back to Fiverr.

1:  All My gigs are gone, Not sure why ? I had gigs with 150-plus reviews i think and they are gone to.
2: The buyer request is gone as well.  That's the option I had great success in the past.
3: I am not able to promote my gigs

Can you guys please advise me on,  How can i get a good impression,  How to rank faster etc.

I met the Top Rated Seller requirements a long time ago, But was not granted that, I know it's a manual process.  I know how to negotiate with clients, i know how to deliver quality work. But i don't know What Algo Fiverr currently has to improve its ranking.

I will be very grateful if you share your knowledge and take a few moments of your time to advise me.

Thank you
Ayaz

(First of all ignore all this nonsense that is spammed by people above that is completely irrelevant to your question.)

Have you checked your emails? Maybe Fiverr left you an email about what happened with your gigs? If you don't find anything, your best solution would be to contact customer support (https://www.fiverr.com/support_tickets) and see if this is a glitch or if your gigs have been disabled/deleted by Fiverr.

Yes, this Buyer requests feature has been removed from the platform and replaced by 'Briefs'.

Since you weren't active, Fiverr didn't have any of your performance metrics, so they might have disabled it. Like you, I was also inactive from the platform for an entire year and rejoined Fiverr this January. After joining and completing a few orders, I got the promotion feature back in about 2-3 weeks (if I remember correctly).

Just in case you guys are wondering, Its been 5 days since i have contacted Fiverr support.  The issue is still not fixed.

No Orders or inbox messages from clients so far.

I will keep you guys posted.
Thank you

The way the platform and the algorithm work has also evolved and changed a lot since you switched away. The number of sellers is much higher too, which would reduce your probability of getting enquiries in the inbox or orders, at the moment.

I just hope for revival of your main gig which had all the reviews. 🤞

While you wait for the support to revert, you can attempt applying to Fiverr Pro - considering your vintage & past success on the platform, there is no harm in giving it a try. Also, check if you're eligible for Seller Plus - having a Success Manager at this stage might also be helpful for you.

My suggestions might just be far-fetched but I just thought trying to move forward while you wait might just help.

Good luck. 😇

That's some very good advice, The number of sellers is high but the buyer request is gone, plus the 5-dollar bait gigs are gone as well.

My average gig selling was way above 100 USD.  I would not take any project below 100 even if they are about just fixing problems.  Because i have spent 10 years developing this skill.

After my return, I decreased my gig prices, it's like back in the old days when I was doing 5-dollar jobs just to make connections with clients (when i was starting out).

Anyway, I am going to take courses on Fiverr, what has changed, etc.

Your advice is very much appreciated.
Thank you

In addition to the suggestions shared above, you may also want to reach out to some of the customers (not to spam obviously) with whom you had a great working relationship in past. As you might know already, the key things on Fiverr are to sell enough, and keep the clients happy.

If you can get a few orders from your existing clients, this could bring you some momentum that in turn could help you with the gig ranking/placements etc and bring you back on track sooner.
