Responce rate down

Hey @atiaferdous, your response rate is a percentage of how many new clients you responded to in the first 24 hours, in the last 30 days.

Diagnosis
Your rate going down means that early responses are now more than 30 days in the past, so the late ones now cover a larger percentage (same number of late responses with less number of early responses now because 30 days have passed)…if it makes sense.

Let’s say you had 4 early responses and 1 late response --> 4/5 = 80% response rate. Now 30 days have passed since the first early response so you have 3 early responses and 1 late response --> 3/4 = 75%.

Even though you didn’t “do anything”, your response rate has dropped by 5% because you have lost one positive response due to the passing of 30 days.

Solution
Anytime you get a new client in your inbox, respond within 24 hours to send your response rate up. Even if you cannot do what they’re asking for, just say “Hey Ben, thanks for contacting me. Unfortunately what you’re asking for is outside my skill set” or something. Don’t leave the message hanging like that.

OR

If you aren’t getting new clients at all, then you can’t improve your response rate. So you might have to promote your service more. You can also reply to some of the Buyer Requests and then at least a few new people there will contact you in your inbox. Then respond to them in less than 24 hours to get your rate back up.

Good Luck!

You will find hundreds of promotional ideas by conducting a search on the internet. We are not going to give you a step-by-step guide to being successful here on Fiverr. YOU are going to have to learn that for yourself through research, experimentation, and trial and error.
