  1. Glad to see that this issue has been seen. However, if the same thing, a brief kind of message (warning) is shared or prompted to buyers while they're placing the order, it'd also inform them not to engage or do scams.
  2. I think they're focusing more on building algorithms with flaws than the real problems that need attention. This is not Good, when someone promotes by paying and gets a scammer. Literally paying to get scammed. Not good at all!
  3. That's the part where many gig descriptions fail. Thank you so much for sharing valuable information and insights.
  4. Gigs have always been shuffled that way to provide room and opportunity for new sellers. But it's temporary, and the gigs with good ratings and scores come back up if they're still maintaining it of course.
  5. It's something with the automated algorithm that calculates the cancellation rate without considering the factor if the buyer has initiated it or the seller. You'll have to contact customer support and explain the whole case if the buyers have initiated the cancellation.
  6. Well, not a surprise here! Overall, they said that the the success score valuation takes time to update on your profile, I guess they told 60 or 90 days. You'll have to wait and see what negative factors affect your success score and try to improve it. Unfortunately, that's all you can do.
  7. I am so glad I read it, and can't believe all my concerns, (everyone's concerns for that matter) were mentioned in a very positive and insightful way. Really loved the idea of visually showing the exceptional 5+ ratings. You just nailed it, man!
  8. The new level system, which everyone is going crazy about, and nobody including the Fiverr staff here on Fiverr Forum could come up with the proper answers as to how this works, quote: "Actually", because to be honest we couldn't get the proper answers to our questions even from the Fiverr staff. Just some formal paragraphs that are too formal for an answer. So far I have been studying the new Fiverr's level system and how it impacted many sellers and me. This is what I think how it works and what are its drawbacks: According to Fiverr, this new Success Score metric focuses on 6-key elements and they are: Client Satisfaction Effective Communication Conflict-free Orders Order cancellations Delivery time Value for money The reason I have made two factors bold is not because they are more important than others, it's because of how these two are calculated. Overall, the success score is calculated and impacted based on these 6 factors and even then, the score is calculated relevant to other freelancers. The flaw I see in these bolded factors is that Conflict-free orders: whenever you deliver your work and if for some reason, the buyers ask for a revision officially through the options they have, it'll be considered as a "Conflict" and that order will be marked as a conflicted order. I wonder if the extension in delivery time is regarded as a conflict in order. Not sure about that yet. But that's not fair at all because most design services or usually most services require revisions. Value for money: Now, this is way more impactful than you might think. The buyers are provided a ton of options to select from to provide their feedback about the order and that gives them a headache leaving them the option to leave it all, leaving us sellers the opportunity to not get the feedback that helps us stand out in the marketplace and increases our credibility. One more thing, if they leave feedback without selecting any specific "ton of options", the 5-star feedback will have less impact than the one with the options selected. Furthermore, the options are confusing for the buyers that most cases they end up leaving 4-star reviews thinking that it's 5-star. Plus, the cancellations have their flaws. If the buyer cancels the order from their side like they have mistakenly placed the order and they now want to cancel the order, and if they do, still the impact is on the seller's profile and the cancellation rate is affected. The seller has to contact customer support to inform them about the situation, which usually takes 2-3 days, and in these 3 days, the seller will have to bear the consequences of the negative impact on his/her profile. The other factors are definitely a step up for every seller, allowing them to improve their communication and client satisfaction even further, giving them more chances to increase their exposure. It's great that Fiverr is taking measures to improve the marketplace but even after the beta period, the update doesn't seem to be stable at all. I am a fan of updates and improvements, and to be honest, I liked it but leaving the sellers years of hard work to bots/systems with flaws isn't something I am a fan of, and I am sure none of you are. What are your thoughts about the new update? Did you find it good? Were you able to overcome these flaws or you didn't face any? Please feel free to share your experience so that we all can benefit from that. Cheers!

  10. It's funny how these AI webinars (extremely general) might help me as a video editor to implement AI as if I don't use AI already since it's already out there a while ago.
  11. This is the same as multiplying 2 by 3 or 3 by 2. The result is the same. It means that it still is confusing to buyers and even more confusing for us sellers. I recently got reviews where buyers didn't even bother to spend the time on selecting the metrics of the new rating system, not even a single time. Does it mean they either find it confusing or they don't want it to be too complicated? I think, Yes!
  12. You can create a new gig anytime but make sure it follows all the community guidelines and platform's TOS and make sure it is well-researched to have the full impact of the gig.
  13. I always like the improvements and updates. The new layout is minimal and kind of good. More organized, more easier. Thanks to the team!
  14. That's one of the Good features Fiverr has provided for sellers since the buyers have to explain their requirements in most cases and video chat is the best option.
  15. That's where team feature would come in handy.
  16. But I would love this feature since It'll give me more flexibility and I would be able to assign different tasks to my team members with specific limitations. Exactly, That is why I thought of having this Feature: I would have a team member from one of my team to manage that who is trustable. I think that would be a really great feature if Fiverr could introduce having team members in the account who'll have limited access.
  17. ONLY and ONLY in case, I'm sure I'm not gonna make it back within 30 days because I wouldn't want the ranking to be affected or the buyers left with unread messages. And I agree with your concerns since giving access to our account is not recommended at all but I would have a team member from one of my team to manage that who is trustable. I think that would be a really great feature if Fiverr could introduce having team members in the account who'll have limited access.
  18. Taking breaks is necessary for every freelancer and business owner, but when taking breaks, one should not fear whether my business will be handled or be affected if I do that. So I think it's a good improvement but if your unavailability feature runs over 30 days in a 120-day frame time, your gig ranking will be affected as stated by Fiverr. But who actually is going to take an extended vacation of more than 30 days to be honest one/two weeks is enough for me. And one more thing is that, being a freelancer you can take care of your business from anywhere in the world, so if you happen to take longer than 30 days of vacation, you can hire a VA for that (if you still won't be available) to respond to buyers. Since it's a business.
  19. Welcome On Board! Thoroughly research the platform and study your sellers and potential buyers. Research is the key! Meanwhile, keep polishing your skills.
  20. Exactly, I see a lot of sellers here giving that same advice to remain online which can help us increase our account ranking and visibility. That doesn't make any sense to me. I mean I'm also a new seller but it just doesn't feel right.
  21. Welcome on board! Don't worry, you'll make it. Keep researching and working hard. Study your target buyers and top sellers in your niche. Remember research is always the key to success, no matter which platform. And don't forget to read the ToS of this platform. Good luck!
  22. That's really amazing news, but I wish the Fiverr could arrange the contests for all the categories being offered on that platform so that different sellers could have the opportunity to showcase their talent in their respective fields as well.
  23. @charlsmcfarlane I totally agree here since the TRS criteria are still dependent on the manual review process and some sellers would be waiting for years with no word on the review process leaving the sellers thinking okay maybe next month or maybe next year to eternity 👀😅
