  1. It's funny how these AI webinars (extremely general) might help me as a video editor to implement AI as if I don't use AI already since it's already out there a while ago.
  2. This is the same as multiplying 2 by 3 or 3 by 2. The result is the same. It means that it still is confusing to buyers and even more confusing for us sellers. I recently got reviews where buyers didn't even bother to spend the time on selecting the metrics of the new rating system, not even a single time. Does it mean they either find it confusing or they don't want it to be too complicated? I think, Yes!
  3. You can create a new gig anytime but make sure it follows all the community guidelines and platform's TOS and make sure it is well-researched to have the full impact of the gig.
  4. I always like the improvements and updates. The new layout is minimal and kind of good. More organized, more easier. Thanks to the team!
  5. That's one of the Good features Fiverr has provided for sellers since the buyers have to explain their requirements in most cases and video chat is the best option.
  6. That's where team feature would come in handy.
  7. But I would love this feature since It'll give me more flexibility and I would be able to assign different tasks to my team members with specific limitations. Exactly, That is why I thought of having this Feature: I would have a team member from one of my team to manage that who is trustable. I think that would be a really great feature if Fiverr could introduce having team members in the account who'll have limited access.
  8. ONLY and ONLY in case, I'm sure I'm not gonna make it back within 30 days because I wouldn't want the ranking to be affected or the buyers left with unread messages. And I agree with your concerns since giving access to our account is not recommended at all but I would have a team member from one of my team to manage that who is trustable. I think that would be a really great feature if Fiverr could introduce having team members in the account who'll have limited access.
  9. Taking breaks is necessary for every freelancer and business owner, but when taking breaks, one should not fear whether my business will be handled or be affected if I do that. So I think it's a good improvement but if your unavailability feature runs over 30 days in a 120-day frame time, your gig ranking will be affected as stated by Fiverr. But who actually is going to take an extended vacation of more than 30 days to be honest one/two weeks is enough for me. And one more thing is that, being a freelancer you can take care of your business from anywhere in the world, so if you happen to take longer than 30 days of vacation, you can hire a VA for that (if you still won't be available) to respond to buyers. Since it's a business.
  10. Welcome On Board! Thoroughly research the platform and study your sellers and potential buyers. Research is the key! Meanwhile, keep polishing your skills.
  11. Exactly, I see a lot of sellers here giving that same advice to remain online which can help us increase our account ranking and visibility. That doesn't make any sense to me. I mean I'm also a new seller but it just doesn't feel right.
  12. Welcome on board! Don't worry, you'll make it. Keep researching and working hard. Study your target buyers and top sellers in your niche. Remember research is always the key to success, no matter which platform. And don't forget to read the ToS of this platform. Good luck!
  13. That's really amazing news, but I wish the Fiverr could arrange the contests for all the categories being offered on that platform so that different sellers could have the opportunity to showcase their talent in their respective fields as well.
  14. @charlsmcfarlane I totally agree here since the TRS criteria are still dependent on the manual review process and some sellers would be waiting for years with no word on the review process leaving the sellers thinking okay maybe next month or maybe next year to eternity 👀😅
  15. This is also a great step since the criteria on other platforms for becoming a TRS were quite low. Though all the other conditions are still applicable making it really a good decision both in terms of credibility and more chances to sellers.
  16. Now that's the kind of update that should be really appreciated. The best one in my opinion is the partial refund since I'm sure some buyers were taking advantage of the seller's work and then asking for a refund or canceling the order, leaving the sellers in a very awkward position.
  17. Exactly, as after the "Buyer Requests" feature, briefs have not been very useful for both the buyers and the sellers, maybe the algorithm was not smart enough to match the right sellers to buyers. Indeed, it'll be a game changer, but I'm sure it'll take time to learn as it is AI
  18. I liked the branding in Fiverr's new updates Like Fiverr NEO. But I love the concept of Fiverr Certified as it'll help the industry leaders to stand out. And they have changed the coloring of Pro Sellers to blue, looks awesome but one thing I found out is that when searching, for the sellers who are not Pro verified, their Level doesn't appear when we open up their gigs in the new Tab, maybe they are working on it too 🤔 Though Fiverr NEO is a feature specifically made to help buyers connect to the right sellers, in my opinion, it is an upgradation of the brief future. Let's hope it'll benefit us all as we know not many sellers were getting the benefit of briefs.
  19. No doubt it will take time. But I think Fiverr will look into it as not many people agree with this update. Let's see!
  20. Surely, you can use any of these extensions if you're thinking about starting over from scratch, again!
  21. I strongly agree with that and that's what we call fair. Like how bad it would look from the buyer's perspective as they would think this seller doesn't even care about what his clients are saying and leaves a "Thanks! It was great working with you! It definitely seems overlooked and in that case, it would definitely hurt that seller's credibility and business as well.
  22. Updates and improvements are what make any platform better, but I would have appreciated it more if they would have taken the time to think more from the seller's perspective as well. As with what it says, it seems very much in the favor of the buyer and making their customers happy. Nonetheless, this update would help honest customers and sellers (who are also buyers). But on the other hand, this is business and every business's top priority is to make their customers happy and satisfied and that's what they are doing.
  23. Exactly, it just defeats the purpose of making gig images and Gig Videos on which the sellers really work hard to earn that one click when picked by the buyers amongst may gigs.
  24. I am always a fan of Updates but this one really confuses me. What exactly is this update and what exactly is the focus? In my suggestion, it would have been helpful if the gig gallery/cards section had a new look, making it easier for the buyers to choose the specific gig and helping sellers of course.
