  1. Ok, so you're ready to set up a new gig on Fiverr. You want your gig description to sound smart and intelligent! So you put in a couple of buzzwords and some marketing jargon to impress your buyers. But hold on! You might be doing a mistake! First, here's what I mean by marketing jargon and buzzwords: They are pointless fancy-sounding fillers meant to replace real meaning. You think it sounds smart, but you're alianating your buyer when using this top-down style of communication. Here's an example from a Fiverr gig I came across earlier today: "I utilize creativity-driven mindfullness to present upstanding brands by connecting emotional stories with driven clients." It sounds like something taken straight from a bad "about us" page written by some pompous dude in a rental suit. And it's completely meaningless. After reading that sentence, I still don't know what the seller does. I know he's trying to impress me with fancy words, sure, but frankly, I'm just as confused as I was before reading it. He could have just written "I use top-down buzzwords to sound smarter than you. That way, you'll think you need my stuff, and pay me more than it's worth for it". So let this post be a clear narrative for amitious sellers looking to build consumer-driven actions in a game-changing world of global influencers leading the differentiation by challenging your core business strategy. Or in other words: Learn from this if you want to be a successful seller. Buzzwords ain't cool, man. (Ok, so you can use them, SPARINGLY! But if you want to be clear in your business communication, stop talking down to people, because you might end up alienating your buyers instead of attracting them.) "Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication." - Leonardo DaVinci
  2. I'm changing the title of my gig once, my gig was on the first page online before, still there. Now I want to change my gig thumbnail should I change it? What should I do? Or should I remove the gig and reopen it? I am a new seller on Fiverr and my gig is also new
  3. This is what I get from Fiverr while uploading my gig: "Description may not contain an offer for direct communication. Reminder: Communicating with other users outside of Fiverr is not permitted. See our Terms of Service for more info". Here's my gig: Stop spending your valuable time searching for a professional presentation creator because you already have it! YES! This will include: · Customized slides based on the provided theme (educational, scientific, marketing, etc.). · Research-based quality content. · High-quality graphics, statistical reports, and transitions (images, tables, graphs, animations, etc.). · Voice-over narration for the presentation I work for 100 % client satisfaction. 5. Once again fiverr's customer support does nothing to help the seller out. Here is my story sorry if its long I have all the pictures of the buyer lying and deceiving me and then writing a review that clearly was a lie and not fact since i told him in conversation the service as described. Then all of the bullshit customer support said with half of their automated messages. All I wanted is a lie of a review to get off of my account. I'm not gonna make this any longer than it already is so just look at all the pictures I screenshot they should be in order from the evidence to what CS had to say. PLEASE HELP Thanks for whoever took the time to read everything and hopefully this post gets traction. PS: Yes the manager is an automated message and sent the same thing twice you can see by the time stamps
  6. Hi everyone, I am a logo design seller I want to add my Behance portfolio in my Fiverr description. But I would first like to know if Behance is an approved link. Thanks you at advance for your answers. PS : I've tried to create a Flickr account, but it failed all the time.
  7. I have publish a gig two days ago. My category is Digital Marketing > Search Engine Marketing > Shopping Ads. When I tried to find my gig it was first page as I filterer as newest arrival. And the second day at the 2nd page without any filtering. I checked that my gig is active. My gig impression is 27 & click is only 1. But I can't find any buyer request. Is there any problem in my gig category or there is no buyer request in this category?
  8. I have created a gig. But I see that half of the description is not showing. Then, I have deleted that gig and unloaded it again. And again, my gig description is not showing fully. How can I solve this?
  9. Can I add my portfolio link inside my gig description? I want to add my portfolio link in side my gig. Is it will violate any Fiverr rules or not?
  10. The new sellers can copy other gig description and just past. This is the worst thing and Fiverr doesn’t like it. I suggest to you. Take 5 to 10 mins write your description of your service. Make sure the description of your service must be unique with zero plagiarism. Check your plagiarism. What can I write in my description? Well, you can write all the services that you are providing. write something about your experience in related service. Must share portfolio links. Write some extra that you provide. Like if you are a WordPress designer must mention one-month of free support. Free Hosting(It’s not expensive just purchase one time and host all the domains for the one year). Give MoneyBack Guarantee, Give Unlimted revision until buyer satisfaction. Once your Buyer satisfies your service then it’s converted to your permanent client. So you must have patience if your buyer asks you for extra changes.
