  1. It will help to a certain extent -- like if someone is interested in your services, but it's not that often that buyers will be looking through the My Fiverr Gigs category. There are more chances in getting an order through the "buyer request" section on Fiverr or improving your gigs and a buyer finding your gig in the search page.
  2. You can share gig links under the "Improve My Gig" Category - to ask feedback on your gigs and "My Fiverr Gigs" category - to advertise your gigs. What do you mean by this?
  3. Who is this brother? Is he a seller or a youtuber? Reading and applying the helpful tips in the forum might help you get an order. You are more likely to get an order through focusing your time and energy on improving your gig and profile and effectively marketing on platforms than being active on the forum.
  4. I assume you mean the badges/ranks in the forum. The badges are only part of the forum for the purpose of "gamification" or adding a bit more fun to increase engagement in the forum. It is completely for the purpose of encouraging engagement in the forum, that is all. It is not related to your standing and sales on Fiverr.com. Having a "rank" or "badge" in the forum does not have any significant value.
  5. That was a general set of tips, of course buyers are always free to try new sellers. When you buy a product, do you not look at previous feedback from past buyers or even listen to feedback from friends and family? You tend to buy when you know it works.
  6. You would have to figure out what tthey were referring to! Perhaps looking into every box and seeing what might be missing info. Alternatively, you can refresh the page (save the content of your gig description or any lengthy text in a word file if needed) and fill everything again making sure not to skip anything. Maybe look into the no. of days involved for the extra and the original duration of delivery if those were filled in.
  7. Yes, I would agree with this just go with the cancellation. You haven't worked on the order and buyer has already informed you that they purchased from someone else. I don't think you'd want to waste your energy for someone not interested in getting your output anymore. Plus forcibly delivering something will just waste your precious time working on something that could potentially get cancelled (either through CS or even a chargeback) Well, I don't know what the weight between a cancellation vs. a bad rating in terms of how it affects gig placement. But a bad rating can happen both privately and publicly (the buyer can rate twice). Also as I mentioned earlier, the cancellation might not even affect your completion rate if CS assists you. And if it did, it would get back to 100% after 60 days. If you get a bad rating of 1 or 2 stars, you might not even be able to bid anymore in the buyers requests and that's usually something helpful for new sellers to gain more momentum. Add-on to whatever the buyer may have written on your review. Totally not worth your time and energy. You are a new seller, whether we like it or not, good ratings matter a lot in that stage. It helps potential buyers take a decision with us more than a cancellation rate that cannot be seen and resets eventually after 60 days.
  8. Totally fine! Always nice to see another take on the situation. And a bad review (presumably 3 stars or less) would do something similar. A bad review sticks around forever, the cancellation rate returns to 100% after 60 days. Note that there is also a private review the buyer can fill in aside from the public review seen on your profile. Both those reviews will affect your gig placement as well. If we follow your example, First 4 orders = 5 stars, 5th order = 1 star, 6th order = 5 stars... (5 X 5 = 25) + 1 = 26. 26 divided 6 = 4.33... Anyhow, potential buyers will never see your cancellation rate at 80%, but they can see the (likely bad) review by the previous buyer. The longer your ave rating is below 4.7 the harder it will be. It would be difficult since you won't be able to make an offer in the buyer requests section and you'd have to wait it out for a buyer to come up to your gig. At least with the cancellation you can still make bids to buyer requests. Remember, the cancellation rate resets to 100% after 60 days. To recover from a below 4.7 rating doesn't reset, the only way is to get more orders that are rated 4.7 above. Plus, not all buyers leave ratings. Again, bad reviews aren't a big deal if you have several reviews, an established seller, repeat buyers, etc. I also think buyers would still make orders with new sellers even if they did have a bad review. But if we had to weigh in on a cancellation and a bad review for a new seller, I still would suggest the cancellation. Maybe if it was a large order and if I've actually completed the gig I would think otherwise.
  9. If you are a new seller, it's better to have a cancellation than a bad review to be honest.
  10. Can you share the link to these videos? I've seen a couple of posts before referring to certain "videos". I'm curious where all these suggestions are coming from. 😅
  11. I would do the same thing as you and contact CS to explain to them what happened and request that it not affect my stats. I'm so sorry this happened to you though! Buyer should have contacted first if they wanted a delivery as quick as that.
  12. I don't think you should expect anything after making 10,000 forum posts. Sure, there may be some benefit from making a valuable contribution to the community. But I don't think it's a good idea at all to expect anything regarding TRS in relation to being active in the forum.
  13. Hi Vickie! I hope you're having a great night so far over there. Just dropping by to say hi! And I hope your badge gets sorted soon, proficient copy doesn't look so great to be honest! Not befitting a kweeeen! 👑 😂

Thank you. My new badge is the top badge, which does befit a queen, but I like the looks of the Grand Master better. 😉

  14. Where and how can I search this? How long should I be online? Word for word, including the image? Even if I'm not good at that service? I thought beauty is subjective! Serrr how 2 upgrade
  15. The short answer is you don't go to the forum to get an order. There are many, many, many sellers who have never used the forum who are successful with orders. You may be able to get an order from the forum by sharing your gig offerings under "My Fiverr Gigs" and someone who sees your post is interested in your services, although I don't know how effective that is as a lot of the users here are primarily sellers. You can use the (effective and useful) tips you learned from the forum to improve your own gig and profile and you will be able to attract buyers better.
  16. I think his intention was unlimited revisions but while the order is open. But then the grey area starts to happen when buyers ask for revisions after the order is complete, which I think OP did not thoroughly think about.... And then he got confused if it was okay to send revisions through inbox. @gfxartiste, you should remove that already from your gig description so you won't continue with the same problems you're having now. And maybe consider removing this..........What is this? A money back guarantee? 😅
  17. Oh my! So it is indeed a virus that has been immune to acting how Fiverr wants us to act. 😱 Perhaps this was the case as to why I don't get new notifications, maybe I was using PC when the order was newly made and opened the order page. 🧐
  18. I agree, it doesn't appear though if you've responded to the newly placed order with a message on the order page. So I usually have a template ready to acknowledge that I received etc. However, sometimes I overlook them when its a busy day and that's when I get slightly bothered about them again when I get reminded to review order requirements. Haha!
  19. Fiverr encourages all deliveries be done in the order page, but sometimes the order really does become marked as complete and there are instances that you will have to send revisions in the inbox. But that is completely your choice.
  20. As long as it's stated clearly on your gigs that you don't offer revisions after delivery. How many revisions do you offer? You can always mention that it's mentioned in your gig that you only offer x revisions. You can even state you won't do revisions after the order is marked complete. You can clarify with Customer Support https://www.fiverr.com/support_tickets/new
  21. It's up to you. You have to be clear in your gig offering how many revisions you offer. If it's too much work and not included in the gig offering purchased, then politely suggest they make another order.
  22. This is true! I've purchased from someone who posted on My Fiverr Gigs and referred him to someone I knew! To this day, one of my favorite gigs on Fiverr. I agree. There's way better chances just reading the (helpful) tips on the forum, not posting at all but applying everything you learned and seeing what sticks and works for your gigs and profile.
