  1. You don't need to spam random text and suggestions in another language everywhere. Your profile says you're very fluent in English, so why not use it here?
  2. There is a possibility that someone left a bad private rating on one of your orders. But since you are a social media manager, you can promote your work on social media and get orders from outside. Deliver exceptional service to those orders and you can get back on track.
  3. Although, Fiverr allows you to keep your single account logged in on different devices and different WiFi connections with no issues. But your situation is a bit different. In university, since everyone is studying the same subject (let's say graphics designing), it is highly likely that many students will have their account on the same service on Fiverr. This can confuse Fiverr that you are trying to cheat the system by selling the same service on multiple devices. So, there are two possible solutions that I can remember: 1) Do not connect WiFi and use your mobile cellular internet when using Fiverr. 2) Contact customer support and get their help and permission.
  4. Whenever you get ping-pong message notification on your phone/desktop. The concept of staying online to receive orders is a myth. So, you don't need to be online and just sit there for no reason refreshing your dashboard. Just keep your notifications on and come online whenever you need to!
  5. Fiverr doesn't know they are fake buyers. So, for the sake of safety, reply to them with a message like, "Thanks for getting in touch. We won't be able to work together for trust and security reasons". Don't forget to report and block them so they can't message you and other sellers again.
  6. Uff, I can't quite get rid of this mixed feeling. I am happy that I will be eligible so soon, but I am concerned that making it easy might kill the premium feel of the top-rated tier. I know the process is still the same and we have to provide exceptional service to be a top-rated seller, but still the eligibility criteria was good earlier (from my point of view).
  7. He was quoting your language selection as "Fluent English". Your description and writing style is merely 'Conversational' but you have decided to fill in that field with 'Fluent'.
  8. There may be a possibility that this subcategory is already over-saturated with too many sellers, and Fiverr does not want to add new members to this subcategory. Or there could be a possibility that Fiverr is considering merging this subcategory with another subcategory. Who knows! Have you tried contacting customer support?
  9. It is really a plus point for you that you are getting orders outside the Fiverr. If you are looking to build your platform here (for the long term), you can promote your gigs to your existing social media clients and continue your journey here. If you do well, eventually you will start getting orders here too. It's hard for Fiverr to trust the credibility of a new profile with 0 orders and 0 reviews, but if you can manage to get some regular orders (with good metrics), you might have a smoother ride.
  10. Both are different from each other and have their own distinct benefits. 1. Promoted Gigs: You can pay a little money to promote your gigs, so that it gets advertised among buyers and you get more impressions (and more orders). 2. Seller Plus: It does not "directly" help in increasing impressions or getting orders. But you do get access to advanced analytics and keyword research, and you get a chance to research your gig keywords and understand how you're performing. Not to mention about other benefits, such as 7-days payment clearance, priority support, etc.
  11. Of course, this may differ from category-to-category. But the question is, is it a big issue and do we face these issues on a regular basis? Personally, I can barely remember when anyone ordered one order outright. My clients (even new buyers) first come to inbox for discussions and then place an order through custom offers. But again, that too depends person-to-person and category-by-category. I do not have the collective data of all sellers as I am not a staff, so we can only point out things from our personal point of view. What is the percentage of orders you get directly (if you want to share with other members like me)?
  12. Then it will be overused too badly. Everyone is going to lock their gigs and remove the direct buy button. From the buyers perspective (who are new to the platform), it doesn't look too good. To new buyers, it may sound like a complicated process to buy any service. So, make your gig description as clear as possible, so that buyers can immediately judge whether you are a good fit for their project or not. But nowadays, sellers use the description field for keyword and SEO purposes (basically spam) and not to describe their service (for which that field is created), and then they complain that buyers automatically place orders. I am a Seller Plus: Premium member and have access to that feature, but still my gigs are open for direct purchase as the description and tier of my gigs are very clear and I don't have to worry too much about these things.
  13. Is this still a trend to write "stay online to increase ranking" in 2023, lmao! You need to stay OFFLINE for a few weeks to get your facts straight my friend.
  14. You can do so by going into the Resolution Center. The order amount must be more than $100 though. For more info, you can check out: https://www.fiverr.com/support/articles/15770574712977-Partial-refunds
  15. If that's the case, then it's definitely wrong. I have been inactive on the platform for the past year since the AI hype came. I was busy with my engagement and wedding. If Fiverr has stated this in their policies, then there's nothing left to defend anyone. Since we are using someone else's platform, we must follow their rules, regardless of whether our thoughts align with their views. Personally, I don't use AI tools and my services don't even require them. So, I did not find it necessary to focus on this area or check for updated policies. I will definitely take a look at it now (just to be sure I don't misguide anyone on the forums).
  16. In my perspective, it doesn't even matter whether they're using Chat GPT or having their 90 year old granny write their messages. If they are able to provide a satisfactory communication to the buyers, it's a win-win for both the parties. And I am sure, Fiverr is more concerned with the buyers receiving satisfactory communication rather than behind the scenes process of how sellers write their texts.
  17. This is not even practical. You can only get the rating/review if an order has been placed. But even if it is possible, it doesn't make sense to me to deliver something for free just to get ratings. A $4000 client won't say "hey, I'm paying you, so I won't give you a rating". Lmao! Why not get both: money + rating at the same time?
  18. Doesn't matter whether they're a scammer or a legit person. As a seller, it's best for you to avoid profiles that request contact outside the platform, even if they seem genuine. Stay safe (and don't forget to report these profiles and make this a safer place for others too)!
  19. It's not a rocket science. Just deliver high-quality work and provide an excellent customer service. That's it!
  20. If your plan involves using multiple accounts solely to gain more orders and increase profits, I would advise not to do it. Such practices could lead to consequences, as Fiverr's platform has a robust algorithm and staff who actively monitor activities. Trust me, that will be your last day on this platform as it's almost impossible to cheat the system here. However, if your family members, like your cousin, want to use Fiverr for legitimate purposes without any ill intentions, they are more than welcome to do so. If their services differ from yours, there is no need for you to take any action. However, if they offer the same services as you, I recommend reaching out to customer support and write a mail to them for guidance and assistance.
  21. Although there is no "correct" way to send requests. Everyone has their own ways of communicating. And, I personally don't use the buyer requests page, but if I were you, then; e.g., Request: Can anyone make an Iron Man 3D suit for me? My Response would be like this: Hi, I saw your request about creating a 3D suit of Iron Man. I can be the right person for this job, as I have worked on Marvel projects in the past and successfully completed many projects. You can check some of my projects related to your request here: <link>. I would love to hear complete requirements about the project and work on this with you. I look forward to your response. Best regards, Rawque

  23. I didn't know about that. Thanks for the information. Here in Southern Asia, we also celebrate Christmas, but it is a maximum one-day celebration/holiday. Apart from Christmas, everything remains the same as other months. Same running cycle and same business workflow. 😄
  24. You're a LEGEND! Sometimes I find you giving valuable (false) advice on marketing topics, and sometimes you are unsure how Fiverr works and how to market your gigs. By looking at the topics you create, it seems that you don't even have a basic understanding of how things work. Well, it's totally fine! It takes time to learn the things, but if you don't even have that knowledge, why do you keep spreading false information on the forum? What do you want, man? Did someone tell you that remaining active on the forum, answering, or creating more & more topics will help you get sales? Because every third day, you come and post the same type of message and create new threads on almost the same topic.
  25. How December has anything to do with the number of orders? For me, it's not making any sense.
