  1. I agree with @melanielm. I've made this mistake once (also for around $10 I think), and I never made it again! I saw it as my own fault for not being thorough. Unrelated to your question but I felt it's necessary to point this out. By this, do you mean you deliver an order that's not finished yet? Because if so, that's against Fiverr's ToS and might result in a warning. So never do that!! Only use the delivery button if you have the final, full order ready to go. If you need feedback from your buyer in between (e.g. to know if you're on the right track), you can simply attach a file on the order page.
  2. Yes THIS. I find the 'review the requirements now' especially annoying, because when I look at them on my phone it apparently doesn't register. So I basically get this notification (that's pointless to begin with) TWICE. Which doubles both the annoying part, and pointless part 🤪
  3. Before going down the cancellation route, I'd professionally and respectfully let them know that's not how Fiverr works. You've delivered the work and the watermark can only be removed once an order is accepted. Plus (I'm not an expert), but a buyer can still clearly see the image despite it having a watermark...so that's definitely fishy and strange.
  4. When you've delivered an order on time, the delivery days no longer matter. So when a buyer asks for a revision there's no need to extend the delivery time. That's why your status is 'in revision' instead of 'in progress', because in a sense the initial order progress has finished. I must admit, I didn't know you could still extend the delivery time when your order is in revision. That's because I believe the delivery time is no longer relevant, so I never tried it. In short though, there's no need to worry about the technicality of your order status. Just complete the revisions and deliver the order again and you're good to go!
  5. I write customized poems and I've included several questions (like your example) to receive information in order to do so. Annoyingly enough, I've had many occasions where people expect a large poem and only give one sentence replies. What I've noticed however, is when I ask additional specific questions on the order page they always respond with way more information. Perhaps they didn't know it was important or they didn't thoroughly read. Whatever the reason, most of them are surprisingly responsive and detailed after I ask these questions. Perhaps it's because I'm directly asking so they cannot ignore it as easily as static requirement questions (of course they can but you get the point). This isn't an answer to your original question, but it might help you to avoid such situations in the future!
  6. You can only leave a rating for your buyer if your buyer has given a review. So this basically has nothing to do with the Milestones feature, it's just a coincidence that it happened together. Of course but there's unfortunately nothing you can do, except be grateful for the fact you've got the job done and you got paid for doing so! 🎂💃
  7. For a while I had the 'preview Fiverr business profile' on my page but after I checked after reading another thread about this topic I noticed I no longer have it. I guess my profile no longer meets the required standards 🤷‍♀️ (or I have a bug too, a girl can dream) but I'll wait and see if anything changes for me. Sorry that my post didn't add anything to your discussion, I just wanted to hop on and mention it in case anybody else has experienced my situation as well!
  8. That will remain the same! That's because it's calculated over an 'all time' period. I think in your case the metric that is being reset is the 'order completion' which is completing 90% of your orders, over the course of 60 days. So just keep delivering orders and those two cancellations will be leveled out. You can take a look under the Analytics tab at the Overview section (bottom of the page), and it will show you what your status is regarding maintaining the relevant standards
  9. Straightforwardly said; If you were demoted to a New Seller status, you will first become a Level One again and won't skip it to immediately achieve Level Two. Although it's unfortunate you had those cancellations, just give it some time and you'll get the Level Two badge!

  11. I've watched a lot of the insightful views/advices of Warren Buffet and Charlie Munger lately. It has become a sort of calming therapy for me to hear those men speak and listen to their thoughts! I'm by no means a financial expert nor do I understand everything about it. I became interested in it when the interest rates on my savings account were basically nothing so I thought to myself if I'm just going to let my money sit somewhere, can't I park it somewhere where there's at least a possibility for a higher return? Since my goal is nothing specific (especially not trying to 'get rich quick'), my investment horizon is about 30-40 years. With my limited knowledge, ETF's turned out to be the best option for me. There I can just let it sit and in my opinion any extra Euro I make on it is a bonus, since I wouldn't have had that if I kept my money in my savings account. I focused on sectors like technology & clean energy, as well as different countries (North America, Europe, emerging countries). Although diversifying my ETF portfolio is still something I find a bit difficult. But more understanding about all that will come with time 🕵️‍♀️ One thing I do know is if you cannot set your emotions aside, investing is probably not the best option. So with that in mind, seeing the market go down should indeed be seen as an opportunity. But most importantly; time in the market beats timing the market!
  12. In addition to the explanation of enabling it from @lloydsolutions, it's a buyer's decision to display it or not. If a buyer chooses for their order to be shown in your portfolio, it will be shown next to the review. If they don't want that, it won't. It's the buyer's decision in the end and some have their own reasons for not wanting their order to be in your portfolio
  13. Thinking us clicking on your link will help get you an order doesn't really work like that. Yes it might get some traction, but it will also decrease your conversion rate since nobody on here who clicks to see your gig will buy something. It's much better to just focus on your gig and try to make it the best it can be!
  14. I think you've answered your own question with the information above; not all buyers do 😩 You'd think it's a standard practice before contacting to save both yourself and the Seller some time. Unfortunately, for some people it's apparently a bit of a hassle to read the information provided. And also unfortunately there's not much more you can do. You've already included it in your FAQ and description. The only thing I can think of you could do is put it in capital letters, make it bold AND highlight it. Other than that I'm afraid you'll keep having to deal with buyers who don't read 😕
  15. No need to worry! The system of Fiverr most likely was flagged due to certain words. The notifications that followed (the buyer's message being marked as spam & them no longer able to be contacted) shows Fiverr sees nothing was your fault. So your profile is safe!
  16. You cannot control what people ask. However, you can professionally and respectfully let them know that x revisions is what your package provides. If they need more they can purchase a Gig Extra. I've also had people go over the amount of revisions I offer. However, if it's a small request I don't mind making the revision free of charge. It's a bit up to you and the request if you choose to charge people extra for it
  17. I'm not entirely sure but I believe Fiverr automatically changes to whatever location you're at. I live in Europe and I use Wise (formerly TransferWise) to deposit my Fiverr earnings in USD via Payoneer. On Wise you can keep the currency you want. I do transfer them to my personal bank account into EUR, but on Wise itself you can keep it as USD. Their exchange rates are also quite advantageous. So that online bank might be interesting for you to look at!
  18. I think the question would firstly be why you want to stay online for so many hours? I know you might think 'otherwise I'll miss out on buyers!', but that's not the case. People contact me (and many other Sellers) when I'm not even online. That's because buyers are searching Fiverr with a particular search word, and browse the market looking for a Seller they trust can get their project done. Buyers don't care if you're online. They care about choosing the right person for the job. Of course, some buyers need something to be delivered fast and might use the filter, but plenty of buyers don't. Instead of focusing on how to stay online, I'd advise you to optimize your gig and make it stand out among all your competitors. Make it so great that your online status doesn't matter!

  20. I use Payoneer and for me there's no charge, except the $1 fee (which is fair I guess for facilitating the transaction). Fiverr has nothing to do with the policies of Payoneer though. If you have complaints like not being able to withdraw less than $100, I suggest contacting Payoneer about it.
  21. You should never take communication off of Fiverr, because this can result in a warning of suspension of your account. In order to solve this you can do the following: File attachment: Technical difficulties? If the file you'd like to deliver is too big, or you experience technical limitations, you may use alternative methods to send a file. Example: Dropbox.
  22. From what I've read on this forum the fact that you see your gig on the first page, does not mean others do as well. Due to algorithm specifications the search pages can look different for every buyer. I wouldn't stare too blindly on the impression numbers. You only started in April and already have 4 orders, so that's amazing!

  24. Your online status is not the sole reason why you're not receiving no messages. It will only be relevant if buyers are using the 'show online sellers' selection. Many of the messages I receive are when I'm not online. It has been said before but I'll say it again; your online status is not correlated to receiving orders. Instead of focusing on if you're appearing online, try to make your profile and gig the best that it can be. Does it stand out from competitors? Is your service clear and well-written? Stop worrying about the green bubble. Start proactively improving your account and that will increase your chances of receiving orders.
  25. I understand what you mean when thinking about how people can be quite spiteful and vindictive. So the chance definitely exists that when you leave a bad review, they'll leave a negative private review in return. However. If you have a negative opinion about a buyer you really feel should be known to other sellers, you should share it. Despite the 'if's, when's or but's' about their private feedback content. For all you know they might not leave a bad one. I'd just think to myself; is what I think about the buyer important for others to know? Is it something that happened due to my personal faulty communication/delivery etc? If the conclusion is that the buyer is difficult to work with, then write in a professional way the bad things you encountered. And then simply move on freelancing your little heart out without stressing over the (private) feedback.
